BUDDHA.1.VIETNAMESE TRANSLATE ENGLISH BY=THICH CHAN TANH.AUSTRALIA,SYDNEY.
On the full moon day in May 623 before the Western calendar, a prince belongs to the Shakyamuni (1) tribe of Indo, named Siddhattha, the Co Dam family (Gotama) was born in a region in Nepal. (2), who is seen as the greatest master of religion in the world. Nurtured in luxury and embracing an education worthy of a prince, like everyone, the prince is married and has one child.
The prince's delusional nature and immense compassion did not allow the prince to enjoy temporary material pleasures in the royal palace. The prince did not know sadness, but he felt deep compassion for the suffering of mankind. Although he lived in a rich and rich environment, the prince was aware of the universality of suffering. The palace with all the worldly pleasures is no longer a suitable place for the prince to be more compassionate. Convenient time has come for the prince to leave home. Recognizing the illusion (pleasure) of pleasurable pleasures, at the age of 29, the crown prince renounced all the worldly pleasures, to put on his simple piece of gold asceticism, alone, not one. co-workers, wandering here and there to find Truth and An Lac.
It is a renunciation of unprecedented history, because the prince who has been a monk is not old in age, but in adulthood;not in poverty but wealth. As in ancient times, people believed that no liberation could be achieved, unless humans lived a very austere life, the prince also applied continuously all forms of extremely ascetic practice. The prince made an extraordinary effort during the six years of school
The thin Prince's body only had one skeleton. The more the prince tortured the body, the more the goal (liberation) was farther away from him. The hard and unsuccessful austerities that the prince continues to practice have proved completely useless. The prince is now fully aware of his personal experience, of the futileness of the body-pressing action, which has weakened his body and caused mental weakness.
Due to the benefits (obtained) from this invaluable experience, the prince eventually decided to follow the path of independence, avoiding both extremes of excessive sexuality and overcapacity. The former slows down mental progress and the following causes a decline in the wisdom of practitioners. The new path He found himself is the Middle School which later became one of the outstanding characteristics of His teachings.
A peaceful tomorrow, while He is attentively meditating, without the help and guidance of any superpower; based solely on his efforts and wisdom, he has destroyed all defilements, purified his mind and body, observed things as they were, and witnessed Enlightenment (into Buddha), at the age of 35 . When he was born, he was not a Buddha, but he became a Buddha due to his own practice. As the complete embodiment of the virtues that the Buddha taught, which has profound intellect, and with great compassion, He has spent his remaining precious life in service of humanity. type, even by exemplary (action) as well as teachings, not governed by any other personal reason.
After 45 years of successful school culture, the Buddha, like everyone, did not resist the cruel impermanence, and eventually (before) died at the age of 80, he advised the disciples to take His teachings are teachers.
The Buddha is a person like us, He was born as a person, lived as a person, and died as a person. Although he was a human being, he became a superhuman figure, but he never claimed to be a God. The Buddha insisted on this important point, and did not save anything so anyone could mistakenly think that He was an immortal Spirit. Fortunately, there is no sanctifying spirit in the case of the Buddha. However, it is thought that it should be noted that there is no such a patriarch "truly atheist like the Buddha, but no one has the same divine character as him."
The Buddha is not an incarnation of the Hindu god Vishnu (3), as some think, he is not the Savior but (perhaps) willing to save others by the liberation of Him personally. The Buddha advised his disciples to rely on themselves to find liberation, because both purity or defilement (defilements) depend on themselves. To clarify the relationship between him and disciples as well as emphasizing the essence of self-confidence and personal effort, the Buddha explicitly taught: "You should try yourself, and the Tathagatas (Tathagatas) are just the teachers ". Buddha pointed out the path and for us to arbitrarily follow that path to attain purity (liberation).
"Relying on others to find liberation is negative, but relying on yourself is positive." Depending on others means surrendering to your own efforts.
In order to advise His followers to be self-reliant, the Buddha taught in the Parinirana Sutta (Parinibbana Sutta): "Be the islands for yourself, or make a refuge for yourself, don't Find any refuge in others ". These meaningful teachings are a human appreciation. This shows how weak it is to try to achieve your goal, as well as to be shallow and in vain when (we) seek liberation through the mindful savior; looking forward to false happiness in the next life through the atonement of imaginary gods, or by silent prayers and meaningless sacrifices.
Moreover, the Buddha did not gain monopoly of Buddhahood, but in fact, it was not the privilege of any particular character. He reached the highest possible fruit of perfection that anyone could wish for, and without the selfish mind of a master, He showed the true path to lead ( we) to the destination. According to the teachings of the Buddha, anyone can expect the ultimate fruit of perfection, if they make a necessary effort. Buddha does not condemn people by viewing them as evil sins;but on the contrary, He gave them joy, when teaching that their mind was pure. According to the Buddha's concept, the world (human) was not cruel, but the world was misled by ignorance . Instead of depressing his disciples, and dedicated that noble position to himself,
and advised them to follow His example, because of the hidden Enlightenment in everyone. In other words, all beings are capable of becoming Buddhas.
The person who has the wish to become a Buddha is called Bodhisatta, which is literally enlightened being. The ideal of the Bodhisattva is the process of the most beautiful and pure life that it is dedicated to this selfish world, representing the supreme thing of the more benign and peaceful life.
From a human being he became a Buddha and preached to the world about the extraordinary potentials and all creative talents of people. Instead of placing on the person an invisible Almighty God who is the authoritarian who controls the fate of mankind and tells them to be self-consciously shy before the supreme god, the Buddha has raised the dignity of man. teach that people can achieve liberation and purity due to their own efforts (practice) without relying on an outside God as well as, not having to rely on monks. The Buddha himself preached to the selfish world (us) the supreme ideal of salvation and salvation. He resisted the decadent division of the decadent class (in India) and advised on the equality between people and people,
The Buddha declares that the door of success and prosperity must be open to everyone in every circumstance of life, whether high or low, good or sinful, if they are determined to improve their lifestyle and pray to perfection.
Regardless of class, skin color or position, the Buddha established for both men and women a democratic Church of unmarried people. The Buddha is not urgently believers to be enslaved to His teachings or to Himself, but the Buddha has given them complete freedom of thought.
By comforting words, the Buddha advised the family of the dead, taking care of the abandoned patient. He helps the poor who don't look. He enhances the lives of islanders, transforming the life of sinners. He encouraged the weak, reunited the separatists, educated the ignorant, illuminated the ignorant, guided the ignorant, supported the lowly, and raised the dignity of the noble.
The rich and the poor, the good and the sinful all love Him. The authoritarian kings are just as righteous, clown and anonymous princes and aristocrats, chivalrous millionaires as well as keen, arrogant and humble scholars, miserable beggars, sophisticated Road sweeps are suppressed, violent assassins and disgraceful prostitutes - all benefiting from his wise and compassionate teachings.
The noble good example of Buddha is a sensual source for everyone. His calm and compassionate face is a peaceful sight in front of glasses-filled glances. The Buddha's message of Peace and Compassion has been well received by everyone with endless joy and a source of eternal benefit for those who are fortunate to hear and practice it.
Wherever His teachings are imbued, it retains a lasting influence in the xinxing of each nation. The cultural development of every Buddhist nation is due to the supreme teachings of the Buddha. Indeed, all countries that follow Buddhism such as Sri Lanka, Burma, Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, Laos, Nepal, Tibet, China, Mongolia, Korea, Japan, etc. are grown on the foundation of Buddhism. Although more than 2,500 years have passed since the death of this greatest great Exalted, his unique personality still has a great influence on all who come to know about Him.
Iron will, supreme wisdom, immense love, infinite compassion, altruistic help, historical monastic action, purity and attraction of humanity, moral methods which He applied to spread His teachings, and His ultimate success - all of these factors made one fifth of the world's humanity adore Him as their most superior minister. .
To pay homage to the Buddha, Sri Sri Radhakrishnan (4) writes: "Where the Buddha of Gautama (Gautama) we see a wise master of the Eastern people, he is not behind any cause. What is the face that influences human thought and life.Everyone is reverent, honoring Him as the founder of an ancient religion, no less profoundly magical than any other religion. The Buddha belongs to the history of world thought, and is the common heritage of all moral people, because, in terms of intellectual intellect, dignity, and spiritual enlightenment, He is certain is one of the greatest figures in history.
In the book "The Three Greatest Men in History", the scholar HG Wells (5) noted as follows: "In Buddha, you clearly see that He is a simple character. heterosexual, sincere, alone to strive for light - a living character, not a myth. He passed on to mankind a popular message. Many of our most beautiful and modern ideas fit closely with that doctrine. The Buddha taught that all suffering and afflictions are caused by selfishness. People before being able to become pure, it must end life according to the senses or for oneself. Then it became a great cause. Buddha, through many different languages, 500 years before Jesus, taught people altruistic virtue. In some ways, Buddha is closer to us and meets our needs. Buddha also appeared to be more intelligent than Jesus, in caring for us, and less ambiguous for the eternal immortality of human life. "
Saint Hilaire noted: "The Buddha preached the perfect example of all morality ... and in His life there was no stain." And Mr. Fausboll praised him as follows: "The more I know Him, the more I admire Him."
A humble believer of the Buddha will say: "The more I know Him, the more I will love him. The more I love Him, the more I know Him. ” END=NAM MO SAKYAMUNI BUDDHA.( 3 TIMES ).VIETNAMESE BUDDHIST NUN=GOLDEN AMITABHA MONASTERY=AUSTRALIA,SYDNEY.12/2/2019.
