[XVI - DISCUSSION OF THE CHRISTIANS ] .16 «Paṭisambhidākathā »
1. [147] 'Like this I heard. There was a time when the Blessed One resided in Bārāṇasi in the Deer Park in Isipatana. There, He spoke to the group of five monks like this: *
* This is the first sermon of the Buddha, recording his preaching of the Dharma at Vin I 10-12.This business is analyzed in Majjhima number 141va in Vibhanga pages 99-105; annotated in VbhA pages 93-122 and in Vis. 498-510. About detailed explanation by the method in the annotation, read Rewata Dhamma, The First Discourse of the Buddha . Read Bhikkhu Bodhi, The Connected Discourses of the Buddha II, Wisdom [Boston, 2000], footnote 380, page 1962.
'The monks, there are two types of extremes should not be cultivated by monks. Two types? The type of pursuit of vile pleasure, misconduct, of the mundane, not noble, harmful; and the type of pursuit of austerities that is painful, not noble, harmful. Avoiding both these extremes, Tathagata finds the middle way to give birth to the solution, making the arising and arising, leading to tranquility, coming to mind, to fully enlightenment, to nibbana. Middle way by As Lai find out what it is? It is Holy Dao Eight Branches: right view, right mind, right speech, right action, righteous mind, right effort, mindfulness, right concentration. This is the middle way by the Tathagata to find the birth of the prize, making birth and arising, leading to peace, to the position of direct evidence, to full enlightenment, to nibbana.
'This is the noble truth of suffering: being miserable, old is suffering, sickness is suffering, death is suffering, dislike and encountering is suffering, wanting is not suffering - in short, the five assemblies do statue for clinging is suffering.
'This is a noble truth about the origin of suffering: it is the desire that leads to rebirth, the enjoyment and the desire to accompany, seeking enjoyment here and there; it is a desire for sensual pleasure, a desire to become, and a desire to kill. [148]
'This is the noble truth of the cessation of suffering: it is the dilemma and it is no longer the remnant of that desire, rejecting, letting go, renouncing, dismissing it.
'This is a noble truth about the path leading to the cessation of suffering: that is Saint Dao Eight Branches: right view, right mind, right speech, right action, right livelihood, right effort, mindfulness, right concentration.
'There is this noble truth of suffering': these monks, the preconceived things like the ants arise, the mind arises, wisdom arises, the mind arises, the light arises in Me. The noble truth about this suffering needs to be fully understood: these monks, the preconceived things like the ants arise, the mind arises, wisdom arises, the mind arises, the light arises. in Ta. The noble truth of this suffering has been fully understood: these monks, the preconceived things like the ants arise, the mind arises, wisdom arises, the mind arises, the light arises. in Ta.
'There is this noble truth about the origin of suffering': these monks, things that have never been heard like ants arise ... the light arises in Me. The noble truth about the origin of this suffering must be abandoned ': these monks, things that have not been heard before as ants arise ... light arises in Me.This noble truth of the origin of suffering has been abandoned: these monks, the preceding things that have never been heard like ants arise ... light arises in Me.
'There is this noble truth about the end of suffering': these monks, things that have never been heard like ants arise ... light arises in Me. This noble truth of the end of suffering must be realized ': monks, things that have not been heard before as ants arise ... light arises in Me. This noble truth of the end of this suffering has been realized: these monks, things that had never before been heard like ants arise ... light arises in Me.
'There is this great truth about the path to the end of suffering': these monks, things that have never been heard like ants rise up ... light arises in Me. This noble truth about the path leading to the end of this suffering must be practiced ': these monks, things that had never before been heard like ants arise ... light arises in Me. The noble truth about the path leading to the end of this suffering has been practiced: this monks, the preceding things that have never been heard like ants arise, the mind arises, wisdom arises, the mind arises, light arises in Me.
'The monks, once My true knowledge of the Four Noble Truths in three stages and twelve forms * are not thoroughly purified in this way, [149] I will not claim to be Having found supreme enlightenment, all in this world has the gods, Marās and Brahmā , in the monastic community and the brahmins, gods and human beings. But once My true knowledge of the Four Noble Truths through three stages and twelve forms has been thoroughly scrutinized in this way, I declare that I have found enlightenment to be completely supremacy. In this world there are gods, Marās and Brahmā , in the monastic community and the brahmins, gods and humans.
This knowledge arises in Me: 'The liberation of the mind is immobile. This is My last birth. No more rebirth from now on. '
* This three stages ( tiparivaṭṭa ) are: (1) the mind knows about each Truth ( saccañāṇa ), such as 'This is the High Truth of Suffering'; (2) knowing about the work to do with each Truth (kiccañāṇa ), such as 'The High Truth of suffering needs to be fully understood'; (3) know about the achievement of each Truth ( katañāṇa ), such as 'The High Truth of suffering has been fully understood'. Taking these three stages multiply the four Truths, we have twelve forms (dvādasākāra ). Read Bhikkhu Bodhi, ibid, comment 382.
So Sun declared so. Very excited, the monks of the group of five rejoice in the teachings of World Religion.
'While the sermon is preaching, the interpretation of pure Dhamma does not stain and is not contagious in the author Koṇḍañña starting up as follows:' Anything that arises must be destroyed '.
'And when the Blessed One moved the Dharma wheel, * these celestial gods said loudly:' In Baārāṇasi in the Deer Park in Isipatana, the Dharma wheel of the supreme Dharma has been transported by The Sun, will not be subjected to any one subject, Which brahmin, gods, Māra , Brahmā or anyone in this world can stop it. ' After listening to the gods of this land speak so loudly, the gods in the realm of Cātumahārājika «The Four Great Heavenly Kings » said aloud: 'In Bārā ...asi ... the Dharma wheel of the supreme Dharma has been transported by The Sun, will not be. .. anyone in this world can stop it. ' After hearing the gods of the realms Cātumahārājika , the gods of the realms Tāvatiṁsa... the gods of the Tusita realms ... the gods of the realm of Yāma ... the gods of the Nimmānarati realms ... the gods of the realms Paranimmitavasavatti ... the gods in Brahmā speak aloud: 'In Bārāṇasi ...' So, come close In that moment, that moment, that moment, that voice passed to the heavenly realms of Pham Thien, and the system of ten thousand worlds moved, vibrated, trembled and a radiant radiance radiated in this world. beyond the divine power of the gods. Then Sunshu uttered this inspiring word: ' Koṇḍañña really understands! Koṇḍañña really understood! From there Koṇḍañña is named Aññātar Koṇḍañña - Koṇḍañña who really understand! (Vin i 9; S v 420).
* Spk explained dhammacakka according to insight ( paṭivedhañāṇa ) originating from wisdom and made The Religion attain the Saints. Mindful insight belongs to the supramundane (lokuttara ); and the position of preaching ( desanāñāṇa ) arises from His compassion to be able to teach the disciples in a way that they can attest to the fruits. The position of preaching belongs to the secular world ( lokiya ). Only Buddhas have these two types of mind, others cannot.Wheel of Dhamma has been Bhagavan began shipping ( pavatteti nāma ) until Kondanna and eighteen Kotis (1 Koti = 10 million) gods strengthen the results of entering the lineage. By the time they were settled in that position, then the Wheel began to spin ( pavattitaṁ nāma ). Read Bhikkhu Bodhi, ibid, volume I note 57 pages 743; volume II note 383 page 1962.
2. 'There is this noble truth of suffering': these monks, things that have never been heard like ants arise, the mind arises, wisdom arises, the mind arises, the light arises in I [150]
3. Opinion arises : in what sense? Tri started up : in what sense? Wisdom arises : in what sense? Wisdom arises : in what sense? Light arises : in what sense?
Opinion arises in the clear sense. Tri arises in the sense of what is known. Wisdom arises in the sense of understanding behavior. Intelligent position arises in a clear sense. Light arises in the sense of aura.
4. Explanation is an idea. Tri is an idea. Wisdom is an idea. Wisdom is an idea. Light is an idea. These five ideas are the object of support and the realm of unconsciousness about the concept . The concept is the object of the support of the unsolvable, that idea is its field. Any idea is the field of unconsciousness, that concept is the object of its support. So it is said: Tri knows about the concept is uneasy about ideas. [first]
Meaning as being clear is a meaning, meaning as what is known as a meaning, meaning as understanding is a meaning, meaning as understanding is a meaning, meaning aura is a meaning. This year is the object of support and is the area of unscrupulous interpretation of meaning . Which is the object of support, that is its field. Which meaning is its field, that meaning is its support object. So, it is said: Tri knows about meaning of being afraid of meaning.
There is language communication to indicate the five types of concepts and language communication to indicate the five types of meanings. These ten types of language are the object of support and are a field of obscurity about grammar . What kind of object is the support of language, that type is its field. What kind is its field, that kind of object is its support. So it is said: Tri knows about the language is so afraid of grammar.
There are [cases] of knowledge about the five types of concepts and [the cases of] the five types of meaning and [cases of] ten kinds of grammar. Twenty [cases] of this [about] position is the object of support and is the field of uneasy solution of the measure . * What kind of object is the support of the unsolvable solution, that type is its field. What type is an area of unconsciousness, that kind of object is its support. So it is said: Tri knows about the types of measures that are uncompromising about the measure.
* Measure ( paṭibhāṇa ) here is understood as transcendental wisdom (Benjamin Clough) capable of knowing the origin and characteristics of all phenomena (R. Spence Hardy). Read RC Childers, A Dictionary of The Pali Language , page 366. This transcendental wisdom also elucidates, clarifies, clearly identifies the three unscrupulous types of other solutions. Read Ñāṇamoli , The Dispeller of Delusion II , đđ. 1942, 1951, 1973-74 pages 126, 133.
