At the moment of impulse * [2] of good deeds [of a previous life], the three goodnesses are conditions that exist together to intentionally be created at that moment; so the sentence 'with good people makes conditions so that fruit-making behavior' is said. [3] At the moment of attachment [right before death], [4] two causes [that are greed and ignorance] are unwholesome conditions, which are co-existent to be intentionally created at that moment; so the sentence 'with the unwholesome causes conditions to create fruit' is said. At the moment of consciousness-making [in new lifetimes] three non-qualifying human beings [5] are the conditions that exist together to be intentionally created at that moment; so the sentence 'with the mind-object makes the condition so awake and because there is consciousness which makes the condition, there is the mind-object' spoken. 2*
* promote ( javana ): nđ 'speed'. As a function of the mind, it is appropriate for the period of the following cognitive process to immediately determine the stage [that is in the five-sense process. In the process of the subject, stage followed javana mind towards the goal] and consists of a series of (usually 7 center of the same type) happen quickly « Express » on the object to learn it. Ethically, the period of javana is important because at this stage, the kusala cittas or akusala cittas arise in those who are not Arahant (with Arahant, this javana period is uncertain).Like CAF Rhys Davids, Bhikkhu Bodhi offered to leave the javana text untranslated . Read Bhikkhu Bodhi, A Comprehensive Manual of Abhidhamma , BPS, [Kandy 1993] paragraph (12) page 124, footnote 8, 9 pages 372, page 389. The word 'process' ( ie : 'route') is translated according to Bhikkhu Bodhi, ibid, e. 4 page 151.
