Majjhima Nikaya

62.
Mahà Ràhulovàda sutta

This is how I hear.
One time, the Blessed One in Savatthi, Jetavana, at the Anathapindika Vihara.
Then, in the morning, he put on his robes, carried the bowl, went to Savatthi to beg for alms. Rahula in the morning also embraced him, holding the bowl, walking behind the Blessed One. Then the Blessed One, after looking around, told Rahula:
- This Rahula, whatever rupas, past, future, present, internal or external, coarse or subtle, paralyzed or won, far or near, all rupa must be observed with real wisdom "This is not mine, this is not me, this is not my self."
- The Sun, is only sharp only? White, is it just color?
- All right, this Rahula; Rahula; think this, Rahula; this is Rahula; and awake, Rahula.
Then Rahula thought to himself, "Who can today be directly taught by the Blessed One with the dhamma, can go into the village for alms?" Then he went from place to time back, sit down a tree, cross, straight back, sitting in front of him. Venerable Sariputta saw Phra Rahula sitting under a tree, cross-legged, straight back, sitting in front of him. After seeing this, he told Rahula:
- Rahula, practice the practice of instant noodles (mind breathing, breathing out). Rahula, practice breathing, exhale, be fruitful, gain great benefit.
Then Rahula, in the afternoon, after the Zen Master stood up, went to the Blessed One, after he arrived, bowed to the Buddha and sat down. After sitting down on one side, Phra Rahula the Blessed One:
- Exalted, breathing breathing out how to practice breathing? To make full use of this (method) how is it to be great fruit, which is great benefit?
- this Rahula, what is internal, individual, hard, coarse, clinging, like hair, hair, nails, teeth, skin, meat, tendons, bone, marrow, kidney, heart, liver, obstruction of the tissues, spleen, lungs, intestines, intestinal membranes, stomach, feces and any other objects, internal, individual, hard, rough, clinging; Thus, this Rahula, called the Inner World. What is within the boundaries of the world and what belongs to the outer boundary belongs to the boundary. It must be observed in the same way with the right wisdom: "This is not mine, this is not me, this is not my self." After being so close to the boundary with such wisdom, he gives birth to the boundary, abandoning the boundary.
And this Rahula, how is water? It is inland water, there is foreign world. And this Rahula, how is the inland world? Something that belongs to the body, belongs to the individual, belongs to the fluid, is attached to it, such as bile, mucus, mucus, blood, sweat, fat, tears, tallow, saliva, water in the joints bones, urine, and any other object, of the body, of the individual, of the water, of the liquid, of attachment; Thus, this Rahula, known as mesmerizing. What is in the inner world and what is in the outer world is in the water. It must be observed as true with the wisdom as follows: "This is not mine, this is not me, this is not my self." After being so closely monitored with such intellectual mind, he was born to the morality of water, the heart to abandon the water.
And this Rahula, how is the fires? There is internal fire, there is external fire. And this Rahula, how is the inner fire? What is personal, personal, fire, hot, clinging; what is it that makes it hot, destroys it, causes it to burn, what makes things eat, drink, chew, tasted, can be digested, or all other things, internal Personal, fire, hot substance, clinging; This Rahula, thus called the inner fire. What belongs to the internal world of fire, and what is external to the fire gender belongs to the fire world. The fires must be observed with the same wisdom as: "This is not mine, this is not me, this is not my self." After such a thorough observation of the world with such intellectual wisdom, he was born to fire protection,
And this Rahula, how is it? Have internal gender, non-gender. And this Rahula, what is world interior?Something that belongs to the body, belongs to the individual, belongs to the wind, belongs to the action, is attached, like the wind blows, the wind blows down, the wind in the bowels, the wind in the lower belly, the wind blows across the burning, the joints breathing, exhalation, and anything else of the body, of the individual, of the wind, of activity, of attachment; This Rahula, so called transposing world. What is intrinsic and extrinsic belongs to the world. It must be observed as true with the wisdom as follows: "This is not mine, this is not me, this is not my self." After as the observation of the world with such wisdom, he was born in favor of gender, the mind of renunciation.
And this Rahula, how is the world now? There is no real world, foreign currency can not. And this Rahula, what is the inner world? What belongs to the body, in the individual, in the void, in the void, clinging, such as the ears, nose, mouth, by what people swallow, what is chewed, drink, eat and be tasted, and where the chewing, drinking, eating and drinking are kept, and where the chewing, drinking, eating and expulsion beyond, and any other object of the body, of the individual, of the void, of emptiness, clinging; This Rahula, thus called the samadhi. What belongs to the world of non-gender and the foreign world of non-gender is of the world. It must be observed as true with wisdom as follows: "
Rahula, practice the practice as earth. Rahula, by cultivating the practice as earth, the compassionate, unmerciful being arisen, without holding the mind, does not exist. Rahula, such as on the land people throw net, throwing net goods, defecating, throwing urine, spit up, throwing pus and throwing blood; However, the soil is not anxious, not fluctuating, or not boring; Also, Rahula, practice as earth. Rahula, by cultivating the practice as earth, the compassionate, unmerciful being arisen, without holding the mind, does not exist.
Rahula, practice the practice as water. Rahula, by cultivating the practice as water, the compassionate, unmerciful, that does not exist, does not exist. Rahula, such as in the water wash the net, washing the impure, cleansing the defecation, wash urine, wash the saliva, wash the pus, wash the blood; However, water is not anxious, not fluctuating, not boring; Also, this Rahula, cultivate the gathering as water, the compassionate incarnation, the unmanifested, the no-minded, no existence.
Rahula, practice the practice as fire. Rahula, by cultivating the practice of fire, of loving-kindness, of not being able to arise, having no mental holdings, does not exist. Rahula, such as the fire burning the net, burning the impure, burning decomposed, burning urine, burning saliva, burning pus, burning blood; But the fire is not anxious, not oscillating, not boring; Also, Rahula, practice the practice as fire, the compassionate, unmerciful being arisen, no mind hold, no existence.
Rahula, practice the practice as the wind. Rahula, by cultivating the practice as the wind, the compassionate, unmerciful, that does not exist, does not exist. Rahula, as the wind blows the net, blows the impure, blows defecation, blows urine, blows saliva, blows blood, blows the blood, but the wind is not anxious, not oscillating, not boring; Also, Rahula, practice the practice as the wind, the compassionate, the unbearable, the mindless, the non-existent.
Rahula, practice the practice as nothing. Rahula, by cultivating the practice as nothingness, the compassionate, unobtainable, without holding the mind, does not exist. Rahula, for example, does not live in a place; Also, Rahula, practice the practice as nothing. Rahula, by cultivating the practice as nothingness, the compassionate non-loving, compassionate beings arise, no mind hold, no existence.
Rahula, practice the practice of compassion. Rahula, by cultivating the practice of loving kindness, will be eradicated. Rahula, practice the practice of compassion. Rahula, by cultivating the practice of compassion, will be eradicated. Hey Rahula, practice the practice of joy. Rahula, by cultivating the practice of joy, what is unreasonable will be eliminated. Rahula, practice the practice of ritual. Rahula, by cultivating the practice of ritual, will be eradicated. Rahula, practice the practice of impure. Rahula, by practicing the practice of impure, what is craving is eliminated. Rahula, practice the practice of impermanence. Rahula, by cultivating the practice of impermanence, is what is concealed.
Rahula, practice the practice of mindful breathing. Rahula, due to practicing mindful breathing, exhales, is full of great benefits. And this Rahula, how is the practice of exhaling, exhaling, to be fruitful, to be of great benefit?
Here, Rahula, the bhikkhu go to the forest, go to the stump, go to the empty house, and sit cross legged, straight back and stay mindful in front. Awakened, he breathes in; Awake, he breathes out.Breathing long, he knows: "I breathe in long"; or breathe out long, he knows "I breathe out long"; or breathing short, he knows: "I breathe in short"; When he breathes out short, he knows: "I breathe out short." "Feeling full, I'll breathe," he practiced. "Feeling full body, I will breathe out," he practiced."Peace of mind, I will breathe", he practiced. "Keep calm, I will breathe out," he practiced.
"I will breathe," he practiced. "I will breathe," he practiced. "Feeling good, I'll breathe," he practiced."Cittasankhara, I will breathe," he practiced. "I will breathe out," he practiced. "Peace of mind, I will breathe", he practiced. "Peace of mind, I will breathe out," he practiced.
"Feelings of mind, I will breathe", he practiced. "Feeling the mind, I will breathe out," he practiced."With joy, I will breathe," he practiced. "With joy, I will breathe out, he will practice." With calm mind, I will breathe, "he practiced." With calm mind, I will breathe out, he practiced. "With liberation, I will breathe," he practiced. "With liberation, I will breathe out," he practiced.
"Impermanence, I will breathe", he practiced. "Impermanence, I will breathe out," he practiced. "Kiss glass, I will breathe", he practiced. "Kiss, I will breathe out," he practiced. "I kill, I will breathe," he practiced. "I will breathe out, I will breathe out", he practiced "Quan abandon, I will breathe", he practiced. "I quit, I will breathe out," he practiced.
Here the breath-breathing mind sets out so, this Rahula, making such abundance, has great fruit, has great benefits. Rahula, the practice of breathless breathing, is so full of such, when the breaths, the outgoing breaths, the senses, are not senses.
The Buddha preached so. Venerable Rahula welcomed the Buddha's teachings.END=NAM MO SAKYAMUNI BUDDHA.( 3 TIMES ).VIETNAMESE TRANSLATE ENGLISH BY=THICH CHAN TANH.VIETNAMESE BUDDHIST NUN=GOLDEN AMITABHA MONASTERY=AUSTRALIA,SYDNEY.4/12/2018.
