7. Jàliya
(Jàliya sutta)
1. Like this I heard. One World Time in Kosambi, garden Ghositàràma. At that time, there were two Dasrupattika disciples, Mandissa and Jàliya, who came to the place where the Blessed One was staying, to say the words of blessings and fellowship with him and stand aside. After standing on one side, the two monks said to him as follows:
- Hey, sage, body and one or other?
- Listen, listen and clever, I will say.
- Yes, sage!
The two monks responded to the Buddha and he said the following:
2. - Sage, here as Lai born, the Arahant, Chief Justice ... (similar to the Sutra "Sa-fruit fruit," paragraph 41-82) ... Sage, so the rate-pretentious monks alms and witness ... stay meditation meditation. When the monk knew this, would he be willing to address the issue of "one's mind and one's body?"
The sage, so-and-so, he is willing to address the problem of "the root and the body are one or the other."
Sage, although I know so, but I do not say: "The root and the body are one or the other."
3. Certificate and stay second meditation ... third meditation ... fourth meditation. When the monk knew this, would he be willing to address the issue of "one's mind and one's body?"
The sage, rate-wise, so he is willing to address the issue of "
The sage, though I know so, sees that, but I do not say "Nibbana and the body are one or the other."
4. The rate of bhikkhus is mind, leading to knowledge. When the bhikkhu knows that, he is ready to address the question: "The source and the body are one or the other"?
The sage, the bhikkhu knows so, he is ready to address the problem: "The root and the body is one or the other."
The sage, though I know so, sees that, but I do not say "Nibbana and the body are one or the other."
5. He knows: "There will be no other life after this life." When the monk knew this, would he be willing to address the issue of "mind and body as one or the other?"
The sage, the bhikkhu knows that, he is willing to address the problem of "nourishment and the body is one or the other." The sage, though I know so, sees that, but I do not say "Nibbana and the body are one or the other."
The Buddha said so. The two religious faithful welcome the words of the Buddha taught. END=NAM MO SAKYAMUNI BUDDHA.( 3 TIMES ).VIETNAMESE TRANSLATE ENGLISH BY=THICH CHAN TANH.VIETNAMESE BUDDHIST NUN=GOLDEN AMITABHA MONASTERY=AUSTRALIA,SYDNEY.26/11/2018.
