VII. CHAPTER KAṬHINA
PLANET 'PLEASE'
1. At that time, Lord Buddha was seated at Sāvatthi, Jetavana, monastery of Anāthapiṇḍika.
2. At that time, the Bhikkhus of Pāvā were thirty, all of them dedicated to the forest, all of them were beggars alike, all were clothed in filthy cloth. thrown away, all are using only three y. While traveling to Sāvatthi to see the Blessed One, due to the rainy season coming, they could not accomplish the task of seasoning rain in Sāvatthi. They have settled in Sāketa, in the middle of the road.
3. They lived through the season (settling rain) with a sorrow (think): "The Buddha is close to us only six weeks ago, but we do not see the Buddha. "
4. Then, after having lived through the rainy season for a period of three months, when Pavāraṇā was performed , while it was still raining, while the water was gathering into muddy waters, He went to Sāvatthi, Jetavana, Anāthapiṇḍika's monastery to meet the Blessed One, after he had bowed to the Blessed One and sat down on one side.
5. This has become a customary practice for Buddhas who are blessed with bhikkhus. At that time, the Buddha said to these monks: - "Monks, health is quite good? Is everything good? Have you lived through the rain season to be comfortable, have the unity, friendly, do not quarrel each other? And do not you have trouble with food for alms?
6. "Good Lord, good health. All things are good, Lord. And you, we have lived through the rainy season of unity, friendliness, not quarrelsome, and not hardship because of begging food. In the case of us, the Bhikkhus of Pāvā are number thirty, while they are going to Sāvatthi to see the Blessed One, because the rainy season is approaching and they are not. Can accomplish the job in the rainy season in Sāvatthi.We have settled in Sāketa, in the middle of the road. Well, here we have lived through the rainy season (thinking): 'The Buddha is very close to us only six weeks ago, but we do not see the world. Sun. You, after having lived through the rainy season for three months, having performed Pavāra lễā, while it was raining, while the water was gathering into mud, we went to the watery and tired looking. "
At that time, the Blessed One who had said the Dharma and said to the monks: - "Bhikkhus, I allow the Kaṭhina to reach the monks who have lived through the seasons. rain). Bhikkhus, when you have achieved Kaṭhina , these five things will become permissible: the departure without notice, the departure without carry (full three yrs), the fulfillment of the group, ( used much) y according to need, the birth of y in that place will be theirs. Behold, the bhikkhus, when you have Kaṭhina have been fulfilled , these five will be allowed to you.
8. And these monks, Kaṭhina should be accomplished this way: The congregation should be informed by the experienced, competent Bhikkhu:
'You, Bach, please listen to me. Fabric Kathina was arising to the congregation. If it is a suitable time for the congregation, the congregation should give this kaṭhina cloth to the bhikkhu (name) to accomplish Kaṭhina . These are suggestions.
Ladies, please listen to me. Fabric Kathina was arising to the congregation. The Congregation hands this Kaṭhina cloth to the bhikkhu (name) to accomplish Kaṭhina . Any virtue that agrees to give Kaṭhina to the bhikkhu (such as this) to attain Kaṭhina silence; Anybody who does not agree can say it.
Fabric Kathina were given to the congregation monk known (as such) to achieve Kathina . The matter was agreed to by the congregation so silent, I note this is so.
9. Bhikkhus, such is Kaṭhina accomplished, this is not accomplished. And what are the monks, Kaṭhina, not accomplished? Kaṭhina was not achieved at the marking stage of length and width. Kaṭhina was not accomplished at the washing stage. Kaṭhina is not accomplished at the stage of calculating the y of the five things, or seven things, or nine things, etc. Kaṭhina is not achieved at the cutting stage according to the calculation. Kaṭhina was not accomplished at the temporary stage. Kaṭhina is not achieved at the sewing phase in the direction of the strategy. Kaṭhina Not achieved at the time of attaching fabric mark. Kaṭhina was not accomplished at the certainty stage. Kaṭhina was not accomplished at the edge of the cloth. Kaṭhina is not accomplished at the stage of contouring. Kaṭhina was not accomplished at the stage of adding another class. Kaṭhina was not achieved at the dyeing stage. Kaṭhina is not accomplished by the sign of suggestion to offer the master. Kaṭhina is not accomplished by the explanation of kaṭhina and calls. Kaṭhina was not successful with his temporary loan. Kaṭhina Not achieved with hoarding. Kaṭhina is not accomplished due to the cancellation for overnight. Kaṭhina is not accomplished with the inability to do so without making a mark. Kaṭhina is not accomplished with neither y nor two. Kaṭhina was not accomplished with him not as five things or more than five things, not cut and ended within that day. Kaṭhina is not accomplished unless accomplished by the individual. 10. And these monks, how Kaṭhina is accomplished? Kaṭhina is accomplished with new (cloth) (unused). Kaṭhina is achieved with (cloth) is seen as new. Kaṭhina is accomplished with an old cloak cloth. Kaṭhina is accomplished with a dirty cloth thrown away. Kaṭhina is accomplished with the cloth that was left in front of the store, picked up and brought. Kaṭhina is accomplished with no sign of suggestion to offer to the master. Kaṭhina was achieved not by explanation Kaṭhina and then called. Kaṭhina is accomplished with the job not with him temporarily. Kaṭhina Achieved with no hoarding. Kaṭhina is accomplished by not staying overnight. Kaṭhina is accomplished with the realization of which is allowed to make a mark of y. Kaṭhina is accomplished with two layers. Kaṭhina is achieved with the upper yoga (left shoulder y). 1. And what are the Bhikkhus, how are Kaṭhina expired? Bhikkhus, these are the eight headings ofKaṭhina 's expiration : 'Because of the departure, due to (y) is completed, due to self, by loss, by hearing, by reason the break of the longing, the crossing of the boundary, the expiration of the same time. '
2. The bhikkhu who had accomplished Kaṭhina , took him to completion, thought: 'I will not return.'The departure is the expiration of Kaṭhina for that Bhikkhu. (first)
3. The bhikkhu who has Kaṭhina was accomplished, took him (not yet done), went away. When he came out of the boundary, he said, 'I will make this man right here. I will not return. ' She made him (him).The event (s) to be accomplished is the expiration of Kaṭhina for that bhikkhu. (2)
4. The bhikkhu who had kaṭhina was accomplished, took him (not yet done), departed. When he went out of the boundary, he said, 'I will not make this man any longer. I will not return. ' The self- assertion is the expiration of kaṭhina for that bhikkhu. (3)
5. The bhikkhu who had kaṭhina was accomplished, took him (not yet done), went away. When he came out of the boundary, he said, 'I will make this man right here. I will not return. ' She made him (him).While he is doing, he is lost. The thing (s) lost is Kaṭhina's expiration of that bhikkhu. (4)
6. The bhikkhu having Kaṭhina was accomplished, taking him (not yet done), leaving (thinking): 'I will return.' He went out of the line and asked him to do it. He was finished, heard that: 'Heard Kaṭhina in that residence has been recovered.' [1] The hearing is the expiration of kaṭhina for that bhikkhu. (5)
7. The bhikkhu who has Kaṭhina achieved, took him (not done), left (thinking): 'I will return.' He went out of the line and asked him to do it. He was done, thought: 'I will return, I will return', and wait for the expiration of Kaṭhina outside. Crossing boundaries is the expiration of Kaṭhina for that bhikkhu. (6)
8. The bhikkhu who has Kaṭhina achieved, took him (not done), left (thinking): 'I will return.' He went out of the line and asked him to do it. He was finished, (thinking): 'I will return, I will return.'Kañhina's expiration date has come. The Bhikkhu expiration of the Bhikkhu is common (with the monks). (7)

5. The bhikkhu who has kaṭhina has been accomplished, carrying him (not yet done), leaving (thinking): 'I will return.' He went out of the line and asked him to do it. He was finished, heard that: 'Heard Kaṭhina in that residence has been recovered.' The hearing is the expiration of Kaṭhina for that bhikkhu. (5)
6. The bhikkhu who has kaṭhina was accomplished, carried him (not done), left (thinking): 'I will return.' He went out of the line and asked him to do it. He was done, thought: 'I will return, I will return,' and wait for the life out of Kaṭhina outside. Crossing boundaries is the expiration of Kaṭhina for that bhikkhu. (6)
7. The bhikkhu who has achieved Kaṭhina , bring him (not done), leave (think): 'I will return.' He went out of the line and asked him to do it. He was finished, (thinking): 'I will return, I will return.'Kañhina's expiration date has come. The Bhikkhu expiration of the Bhikkhu is common (with the monks). (7)

2. The bhikkhu who had kaṭhina was accomplished, took him unfinished, went away. When he went out of the boundary, he said, 'I will not make this man any longer. I will not return. ' The self- assertion is the expiration of kaṭhina for that bhikkhu. (2)

6. The bhikkhu who has kaṭhina has been fulfilled , taking him unfinished, leaving (thinking): 'I will return.' He went out of the line and asked him to do it. He was finished, (thinking): 'I will return, I will return.' Kañhina's expiration date has come. The Bhikkhu expiration of the Bhikkhu is common (with the monks). (6)

5. The bhikkhu having Kaṭhina was accomplished, taking him (not yet done), leaving (thinking): 'I will not return.' When he went out of the boundary, he said: 'I will not make this man any longer.' The self-assertion is the expiration of kaṭhina for that bhikkhu. (5)
6. The bhikkhu who has Kaṭhina achieved, took him (not done), left (thinking): 'I will not return.'When he came out of the boundary, he said: 'I will make this man right here.' She made him (him). While he is doing, he is lost. The thing (s) lost is Kaṭhina's expiration of that bhikkhu. (6)

I will not return. ' She made him (him). The event (s) to be accomplished is the expiration of Kaṭhina for that bhikkhu. (7)
8. The bhikkhu who has Kaṭhina has been accomplished, took him (not yet done), left and has not yet decided; He does not start saying, 'I will return' and he does not start saying, 'I will not come back.' When he went out of the boundary, he said, 'I will not make this man any longer. I will not return. ' The self-assertion is the expiration of kaṭhina for that bhikkhu. (8)
9. The bhikkhu having Kaṭhina was accomplished, taking him (not yet done), leaving and not yet decided; He does not start saying, 'I will return' and he does not start saying, 'I will not come back.' When he came out of the boundary, he said, 'I will make this man right here. I will not return. ' She made him (him). While he is doing, he is lost. The thing (s) lost is Kaṭhina's expiration of that bhikkhu. (9)

10. The bhikkhu having Kaṭhina was accomplished, taking him (not done), leaving (thinking): 'I will return.' When he came out of the boundary, he said, 'I will make this man right here. I will not return. ' She made him (him). The event (s) to be accomplished is the expiration of Kaṭhina for that bhikkhu. (ten)
11. The bhikkhu who has kaṭhina was accomplished, took him (not done), left (thinking): 'I will return.' When he went out of the boundary, he said, 'I will not make this man any longer. I will not return. 'The self- assertion is the expiration of kaṭhina for that bhikkhu. (11)
12. The bhikkhu who has achieved Kaṭhina , takes him (not done), leaves (thinks): 'I will return.'When he came out of the boundary, he said, 'I will make this man right here. I will not return. ' She made him (him). While he is doing, he is lost. The thing (s) lost is Kaṭhina's expiration of that bhikkhu.(twelfth)
13. The bhikkhu who has Kaṭhina was accomplished, took him (not done), left (thinking): 'I will return.' He went out of the line and asked him to do it. He was finished, heard that: 'Heard Kaṭhina in that residence has been recovered.' The hearing is the expiration of Kaṭhina for that bhikkhu. (13)
14. The bhikkhu who has Kaṭhina achieved, took him (not done), left (thinking): 'I will return.' He went out of the line and asked him to do it. He was done, thought: 'I will return, I will return' and wait for the expiration of Kaṭhina outside. Crossing boundaries is the expiration of Kaṭhina for that bhikkhu.(14)
The bhikkhu who has achieved Kaṭhina , takes him (not done), leaves (thinks): 'I will return.' He went out of the line and asked him to do it. He was finished, (thinking): 'I will return, I will return.'Kañhina's expiration date has come. The Bhikkhu expiration of the Bhikkhu is common (with the monks). (15)

5. The bhikkhu who has achieved Kaṭhina , carrying him unfinished, left (thinking): 'I will not return.' When he went out of the boundary, he said: 'I will not make this man any longer.' The self-assertion is the expiration of kaṭhina for that bhikkhu. (5)

I will not return. ' She made him (him). While he is doing, he is lost. The thing (s) lost is Kaṭhina's expiration of that bhikkhu. (9)

10. The monk has Kathina was accomplished, bringing medical unfinished, leaving (thought): 'I will return.' When he came out of the boundary, he said, 'I will make this man right here. I will not return. ' She made him (him). The event (s) to be accomplished is the expiration of Kaṭhina for that bhikkhu. (ten)
11. The monk has Kathina was accomplished, bringing medical unfinished, leaving (thought): 'I will return.' When he went out of the boundary, he said, 'I will not make this man any longer. I will not return. 'The self- assertion is the expiration of kaṭhina for that bhikkhu. (11)
12. The bhikkhu who has accomplished Kaṭhina , carried him unfinished, left (thinking): 'I will return.' When he came out of the boundary, he said, 'I will make this man right here. I will not return. ' She made him (him). While he is doing, he is lost. The thing (s) lost is Kaṭhina's expiration of that bhikkhu.(twelfth)
13. The bhikkhu who has achieved Kaṭhina , carrying him unfinished, left (thinking): 'I will return.'He went out of the line and asked him to do it. He was finished, heard that: 'Heard Kaṭhina in that residence has been recovered.' The hearing is the expiration of Kaṭhina for that bhikkhu. (13)
14. The bhikkhu who had Kaṭhina was accomplished, carrying him unfinished, leaving (thinking): 'I will return.' He went out of the line and asked him to do it. He was done, thought: 'I will return, I will return' and wait for the expiration of Kaṭhina outside. Crossing boundaries is the expiration of Kaṭhina for that bhikkhu. (14)

THERAPY PRODUCT
1. The bhikkhu who had kaṭhina was accomplished with the expectation of him. He has come out of the boundary and paid attention to his desires. He received not as expected and did not receive as expected. He began this way: 'I will ask him to do this right here. I will not return. ' She made him (him).The event (s) to be accomplished is the expiration of Kaṭhina for that bhikkhu.
2. The bhikkhu who had kaṭhina was accomplished with the expectation of him. He has come out of the boundary and paid attention to his desires. He received not as expected and did not receive as expected. He began this way: 'I will no longer (man) do this medicine. I will not return. ' The self-assertion is the expiration of kaṭhina for that bhikkhu.
3. The bhikkhu who had accomplished kaṭhina with the expectation of him. He has come out of the boundary and paid attention to his desires. He received not as expected and did not receive as expected.He began this way: 'I will ask him to do this right here. I will not return. ' She made him (him). While he is doing, he is lost. The thing (s) lost is Kaṭhina's expiration of that bhikkhu.
The bhikkhu who had accomplished kaṭhina with the expectation of him. When he came out of the boundary, he said: 'I will take care of this medical expectation here. I will not return. ' He is aware of the desire for him. His desire for him was broken. The break of the expectation of him is the expiration of Kaṭhina for that bhikkhu.
5. The bhikkhu who has accomplished Kaṭhina with the expectation of y (thinking): 'I will not return.'He has come out of the boundary and paid attention to his desires.
