The path to find the truth of the Buddha.
After leaving the palace at night with Channa and Kanthaka, Prince Siddahattha - now Gotama - went all the way to morning, and crossing the Anomà River (Neranjara).
On the long sandy shore of the river, he shaved his beard, handed over the channa he brought to him, put on his golden breast, vowed to live the religious life and was willing to accept all the material deprivation. He is not in a permanent place. A shade tree, or a wild cave, can cover the sun for him. Foot without shoes, head without hat, He walked in the hot sun and in the cold wind dew.
On the Path to the Truth
He spent seven days in the jungle named Anupiya Ambavana in the Malla kingdom. He then went to Rajagir, Rajagir, in Magadha.
Here, while he was in peace in the city, King Bimbisàra from the royal palace looked out, see the monk generous posture, elegant style, luxury, walk freely I'm so thankful. The king sent the archaeologist to tell him that after the completion of the ceremony, the monk headed for Pandava Hill. "The sergeant sits in a cave at the eastern side of Pandava Hill, majestic as a lion, a lion."
King Bimbisàra commanded the vehicle, then set off, accompanied his entourage to the far hills, stopped walking to visit the respectable monk. Asked where he was born, Gotama (Gotama) replied:
"Right in front of us, the Great King, based on the Himalayan range, in Kosala district of ancient clans, has a strong and rich nation. Sakaa, the Thai dynasty, where I went, not to pursue the five senses, looking for sensual pleasures, because of the perilous dangers of material pleasures and I feel safe in my ordained life, I go out, looking for something more noble, that is my deepest desire, the ambition that I always hold in my heart. " (Sutta Nipāta, Pabbujjā Sutta, III, 1)
King Bimbisàra hears so beautifully, and the monk, after the completion of his despair, returns to visit the kingdom of Magadha.
The Black Conflict
At that time in India there were two prominent Zen masters, Alàra Kàlàma and Uddaka Rapaputta. Gotama came up with the guidance of these two men in hopes of being able to pass on the teachings leading to the higher levels of the meditation practice.
He first came to Alāra Kālàma and said to him, "Be my friend, please give me life and holy life in Dhamma and Vinaya."
Alàra Kàlàma replied, "Honorable man, stay here with me, this teaching is to help intelligent people can conquer and live in it, it will itself be aware of what you taste. my master has realized. "
Soon after, Gotama learned all his teachings. He thought, "It is not only Alrara who teaches his teaching, not only because he believes so, but also because he is fully aware of this doctrine and has lived. in there."
Then he went to Kālàma and said, "What is the religion, the teachings that the righteous have enlightened and the higher realization of enlightenment?"
Alāra Kālāma explains that it is the Avalokiteshvara, a very advanced Zen. At that moment the following thought arises to him: "It is not only Alàra Kàlma who has faith, diligence, mindfulness, right concentration and right understanding. to realize the teachings that Kālāma says he himself has realized and lived in that success. "
He soon succeeded, then came to Alāra and said: "Kålāma, is this the highest level that the learned man realized with intuition and lived in that success?"
- Yes, this is the doctrine that I say that I have realized and lived in that success. This is the highest level of this doctrine.
- But as a friend, I have realized this level and lived in that success.
- We are very happy, indeed, we have a lot of good conditions, in holy life holy life to meet respected fellow practitioners as well. Thus, the doctrine that I have realized and declared, the righteous also enlightened and lived in that success. The doctrine that the intuitive enlightened enlightened and lived in that success, I myself also realized enlightenment and lived in it. Thus, the doctrine that I know, the well-known knowers, the teachings that the dharma know, I also know. I like how the same is the same. So let's stay here, let's join together to lead this group of Taoists.
Then the following thought arises:
"This doctrine does not lead to letting go of the cessation of craving, No color."
He is not satisfied with this doctrine and falsely from Alāra Kāmāma, continue to seek the truth. He came to Uddaka Rapaputta for education.
His experience under the tutelage of the teacher is also described by the Majjhima Nikàya, the Middle Agamist, as the meeting of Zen Master Alára Kālàma, which differs only in the way he approaches a floor. Higher is N'eva sannà N'àsannayatana. This is the highest Zen level in the three worlds, and at that time was the highest peak, no one attained anything higher.
Gotama can not be satisfied with anything less than complete liberation from suffering, nirvana. He realized that no one was able to lead him to achieve the goal. Truth and tranquility find only within us. From then on he did not seek refuge outside.
Suffering
With an unyielding spirit in the Magadha area to find a state of calm and complete solitude, Gotama arrived one day to Uruvela, the town of Senàni. Here he found a place among the lush forest, beside a spectacular river, flexible bending in the heart of two white sand beaches float, stretching under the sun.
He thought, "The scenery is beautiful, the forest is beautiful, the river is interesting with white sand and not far from the hamlet, we can easily get there." (Majjhima Nikaya - Pariyesana Sutta, No. 26, vol. I, p. 166)
When it was reported that Prince Siddhattha left the palace to leave the monastic life, Kondanna, the youngest of the eight brahmins, prophesied during the feast of the Buddha. He later learned that the Buddha would attain Buddhahood. There were four of them, Kondanna, the sons of the other seven, Bhaddiya, Vappa, Mahana and Assaji.
At that time, and so far still, in India there is a strong belief that if one does not enclose himself with the righteous eternal torment, he can not purify his mind and come to the ultimate end. Growing up in this belief, Gotama and the group of wise men called the five Kondanna brothers began their extraordinary six-year battle, closing themselves into a life of extreme suffering.
Maha Saccaka, of the Majjhima Nikaya, vol. 36, vol. I, p. 242, describes the effort of the Bodhisattva as follows:
Confirmation of Enlightenment . "At that moment the following thought came to me:" Or I bite my teeth, press my tongue close to my throat, and use my mind to suppress, control, and eliminate bad thoughts. "
"Then I bit my teeth, pressed my tongue close to my throat and tried to suppress, control, and eradicate unwholesome thoughts with kusala citta.
"Like a strong man who holds a weak or weak head and shoulders, with force and overcoming, not to bite, that is, I fight and overcome unwholesome thoughts.
"My diligence is persistent and unyielding." My thoughts are firm and unmoving, but my body is tired and unwell after suffering painfully. I have to submit to my persevering efforts. Although painful feelings arise on the body, it does not harm my mind at all.
"At that time, I thought, 'Or do we mind breathing!'
"Then I tightened control of my in-breath, out of my mouth and nose, and when I controlled the in-breath in my mouth and nose, there was some gas coming out from my ear, creating a great sound. The wind, coming out of the ductwork of the blacksmith, sounds like the moment I stop breathing, the breath from the ear canal makes a big sound like that. My mind is still firm and unstoppable, but my body is tired and unwell after suffering painfully - the body is subjected to perseverance. Although painful feelings arise to the body, it does not harm my mind at all.
"Then I controlled my in-breath from my mouth, nose and ears, and when I stopped breathing with my mouth, nose and ears, it was pounding, pounding in my head. a sharp blade, when I stop breathing, slightly hit my head hurt too.Although painful feelings arise to the body, it does not affect my mind at all.
"At that time, I thought to myself, 'Or do I try to hold on to that breathing state?'
"Then I controlled my in-breath from my mouth, nose, and ears, feeling a terrible pain at the time, like having a rope athlete squeeze my head. The painful feeling does not affect my heart.
"At that time I thought to myself, 'Or do we meditate on breathing retention?'
"Then I stop breathing with my mouth, nose, and ears." When controlling the breath like that, a strong thunderbolt pierced my stomach, the butcher, the techie, or the apprentice, with a sharp knife How painful it is to breathe through my abdomen, which makes me so painful, yet I persevere in diligence, and these painful feelings do not harm my heart.
"Again, I thought to myself, 'Or try to talk about breathing!
"Then I control my in-breath from my mouth, nose, and ears, and when I hold my breath I feel like there's a huge fire coming out and covering me. The weak and put on a charcoal fire burning red until completely burned down, the fire burned my body at the apnea as hot as it does. However, I still persevere diligently painful feelings. damaging my heart.
"At that time, the gods saw me talking to each other. 'Gotama was dead!' Others noted, 'Gotama is not dead yet, but is dying!' At that time, it was also said, 'Gotama is not dead yet, he is an Arahant. This is the way of life of Arahats. "
The Great Law Enforcement - "Then I thought to myself," or try to practice a hunger strike! "
"At that time, the gods came to me and said, 'Lord, please do not go on a hunger strike.' If He absolutely does not use food, we will pour Himself the nutrients of Heaven. Let it penetrate the pores and feed on Him. '
"At that time, I thought, 'If we were going on a hunger strike, the gods poured the nutrients of the sky to feed on this body, which is a lie.' So I refused.
"Then the following thought arises to me: 'Or try a little food, just a little bit of it, a little bit of green beans, or veggies, or red beans, or white beans!'
"When I used only so few real things, in solid or liquid form, my body became extremely thin, because of the lack of food, the large and small parts of my body were thin and thin. The grass is like a camel's nail, my back is like a chain of sticks rising up and bending, my ribs are like a broken ribs. My eye is no different than the image of the stars that we can see under a deep well. The bitter melon cut out fresh and bring the sun, wind and sun make the skin shrink, wrinkle and wither How did my scalp at that time, because of lack of nutrition, also wrinkled and withered like that.
"When I want to touch the skin of the abdomen, I touch the spine and when I want to touch the spine, I touch the abdominal skin. There is lack of material, skin belly I pressed close to the spine and when I want to stand up urinating, I fell lightly on my limbs to revive my body, alas, when I smashed like that, my hair fell on the floor, because I was dead, and those who saw me said, "Gotama is black." Some others said, "Gotama is not black but blue." Someone said, 'Gotama is not black nor blue but brown'. My bright and clear skin is so bad because of the lack of food. "
Three Images Statue
At that time, three images came to the Bodhisattva:
"- First, there is a group of Taoists who have not abandoned the desires of the five sensual pleasures and still cling to the worldly happiness, who are never in a position where Enlightenment can be closed. Like a piece of fresh wood that is full of sap and soaked in water, though, trying to rub it against each other, it does not look as if it is flashing fire. Trying to create a fire by rubbing against each other such wet logs must be disappointing.
"- The second group of devotees has removed the desires of the five sensual pleasures, but the affliction of the worldly happiness, they are also not in the position can Enlightenment oil try to enclose themselves in the way It is as if they were picked up from the water and left on the shore. But the logs are still fresh, full of plastic, people who want to create fire by rubbing against each other such wood must be disappointed.
"- The third group of devotees who have ceased their desires for sensual pleasures and have ceased to pursue earthly happiness, who are in a position to enlighten, Like the logs that have no plastic and have been removed from the water for a long time and dried up, trying to rub two pieces of wood can make it look like fire. "
In order to prevent, do not let the mind attached to the pleasures of the five senses, the Bodhisattva closed his life into extreme suffering. Although the ascetic pressed to the extreme. He is not nearing the goal of liberation. It is said in the above.
"Then the following thought arises to me: 'Even though the mages or ascetics of the past have suffered painful, painful or painful feelings, so is this. You can not go any further. Even though the future masters or ascetics suffer from painful, painful or painful feelings, then this is the same, impossible. However, it has gone through so many austerities, hardships and pain that we have not achieved anything good, worthy of high enlightenment and wisdom beyond human states. Which leads to the Supreme Being?
Ma Wang Ye Di
In the midst of that danger, while he was still sitting on the banks of the Nerannjarà river, Mara approached and said,
"This poor man, the poor man, the dying man, the dead man has come ... live this, good man, good life, good life. sacrificing fire, he will create many blessings.Having his life ascetic like this to do? The way to persevere effort is really difficult, difficult and difficult to achieve. "
Bodhisattva replied Ma King as follows:
"Behold, a man of wickedness, a man of sin, and a lazy man, thou art come for thy own good: and what good thing thou hast to thee, but thy duty is to say this. "I practice with firm belief, with tight control (tapo), diligence (viriya) and wisdom (panna). I'm so determined, why do you even question me?
"The life in this world is really miserable! It's better to die on the battlefield (while fighting) than to live and fail!"
With that assertive word, Gotama fell in love with Mara, and he was determined to attain the goal: the Buddha.
Last Real Life before Enlightenment
After six years of experience, he came to the door of death but felt no closer to the goal. The ascetic practice clearly does not bring any practical benefits. He said that the path to the Path, which he constantly anxious to achieve, must be directed toward the inner. He was not discouraged but found that the asceticism only reduced mental impairment and mental fatigue. The body is tired, the mind can not be completely clear. He immediately decided not to eat again but used a little raw food. The five masters of the same brother with him misunderstood, thought he returned to rich luxury life, leaving him to leave Isipatana (Sarnath).
In the morning just before the Jamboree, while the Bodhisattva meditates under the shadow of an ajapalà tree near the root of the Bodhi tree, a young woman named Sujàtà offers him a rice cooker. It is difficult to do manually meticulous.
The story of Sujàtà offer real food to the Bodhisattva is reported as follows: In the village in Senàni village, near the forest Uruvela has a woman named Sujàtà. One day she came to the tree near the house, begging for blessings to meet her husband as a wish and will first birth a son. And she yearned to come here to sacrifice. At that time, the Bodhisattva had decided not to go on hunger strike again but used a little food.
On the full moon day of Vesakha (April lunar month), Sujàtà brings the real thing to the skin to sacrifice. When she saw the Bodhisattva, meditating at that moment, she thought of the goddess, and offered her to him in a very precious bowl.
Bodhisattva finished bowl, go down the river Neranjarà (Ni Liên Meditation) sitting real. Then he took the bowl standing on the river, praying: "If today I can attain the Buddha, please bowl this will flow upstream." The bowl drift upstream!
Final Victory
Alone, in the lonely scene between the jungle, there is no support from the outside, with the iron will. He set the heart to strive to achieve the ultimate reversal:
"If only the skin, veins and bones, blood and flesh have dried up and dissolved, I vow not to move from this place until I have realized the fullness of samkhà (sammà-sambodhi)."
Try not to be tired, enthusiasm does not rot. He was determined to realize the truth and attain the state of omniscience. Sit cross-legged under the tree, which later called the bodhi tree, which means the tree of enlightenment, or the tree of wisdom. He applied the concept of "breathing in - out" (anapana sati).
This last fight is reported as follows:
"Now I have used rudimentary food and recovered my health, I have been shunned by all sensual pleasures, I have entered and resided in the First Zen, the mind is calm and calm, But I do not let the feeling of paradise arise that overwhelms the mind, and then eliminates the range and close, the stable mind settles on a single point of unshakable, I entering and staying in the second jhāna, a state of bliss arises due to concentration, self-confidence as firmly, but I do not let the sense of paradise coincide with such overwhelming mind. and disappear, my heart is calm, concentrating firmly on a point and always awake, still listening to the body, I entered and reside in Tam Thi n. But happiness was not to overwhelm the mind arises. With the release of the enjoyment and suffering of the body and the state of bliss and sorrow of the mind dissolving, I enter and dwell in the Four Meditations. Due to the mind of the discharge, no pleasure or grief, the mind is calm, and mindfulness does not shake.
"With the mind to dwell on a point, calm, calm, clear as the mirror surface is polished, no pollution, favor, malleable, easy to use, awake, firm and not. I remembered many of my past lives, one life, two lives, three, four, five then ten, twenty to fifty, then one hundred, one thousand, one hundred thousand, then the dispersion of many worldly cycles, and the development of many worldly cycles. what kind of family, what kind of life, what kind of life, what kind of life, how much life and how much, how long life and death. nh yet, what name etc .. Thus I remember the way of rebirth and the details of past lives. That is the first insight that I realized at the first watch, night Dao. Ignorance has been broken, insights arise. Darkness has come to an end, light comes to the living, diligent and self-controlled. Happiness is born and exists, but I do not mind being overwhelmed by it.
"With the mind set on a point ... I turn my mind to the understanding of the phenomenon of birth and birth of beings (Cutùpapàta nàna, Heavenly Vision.) With pure celestial sphere, superman, I see beings Death from this birth is born again into another life. I realize that the person who is vain, the beautiful person the bad person, the happy person the miserable, all experience the state of extermination and birth, depending on the act of creation. I know that these sentient beings, by evil actions, words and thoughts, curse the saintly people, believe not in righteousness, have the lifestyle of the person who cultivates wrong view, after the body I am aware that these sentient beings, by actions, words, and deeds nice, do not curse the saint, trust the right foot, and living the life of the righteous, after the body scattered and leaving the ceiling, reborn in the scene of leisure, the scene of Heaven. Thus, with Divine Vision I clearly see the dispersion and reconstruction of beings. That is the second insight that I realized in the middle, night of the Dao. Ignorance has been broken, insights arise. Darkness has come to an end, light comes to the living, diligent and self-controlled. Happiness is born and exists, but I do not let it be overwhelmed by mind. Darkness has come to an end, light comes to the living, diligent and self-controlled. Happiness is born and exists, but I do not let it be overwhelmed by mind. Darkness has come to an end, light comes to the living, diligent and self-controlled. Happiness is born and exists, but I do not let it be overwhelmed by mind.
"With the mind set on a point ... I turn my mind to the knowledge of the termination of the Asavakkhaya nàna or the gong (Asavakkhaya nàna). Or pirate, avatars, or the mind in the heart, Innocence in the flow of the flow of karma from infinite life to the highest realms - in terms of realms, or to the state of transposition (gotrabhù) - in terms of the flow of consciousness.
"I know things as they really are: this is suffering, this is the cause of suffering, this is the end of suffering, this is the path leading to the end of suffering .
"In the same way, I know the truth: These are illegal or illegal, this is the end of the illegal or illegal. My mind escapes from sexual desire, escapes from illicit (pollution related to attachment to life), escapes from illicit ignorance (contamination When I myself was liberated, I understood: "I am liberated." I realized the realization: "No longer birth, the life of the holy has been fulfilled, what I have done, after the present life there is no other life anymore. " That is the third wisdom I realized at the third watch, the night of Dao.
"Ignorance is destroyed, insight is born, night is over, light comes to the living, diligent and self-conscious. Do not let your mind be overwhelmed. "
The Joy of Happiness
Ignorance has been cleared and wisdom arises. In the extraordinary battle to become the fruit. He won gloriously. The light of truth shines for him the mysteries of life. This great glorious triumph of victory has made Gotama (Buddha Gotama) the Buddha of the Right Enlightenment, the Enlightened One, the supreme omnipotent. He read the happy post:
"Through many lifetimes
in the cycle,
the Tathagata wandering go, go forever.
Tathagata looking forever, without,
Tathagata find workers take this house.
Repeated life is indeed troubling late.
this is slightly hairdresser home,
Tathagata has found you.
From
you shall not build a house for the Tathagata again.
All frame are broken,
Plants human monoclonal erected
also be shattered.
as Lai proof of the Unborn,
and the Tathagata has eradicated all craving. "
The Buddha confirmed the indescribable wandering in many past lives full of suffering and trouble. He came to this manifestation, not by his own reasoning or imagination, nor by hearing from anyone but by his own eyes, in the first custody, the second coming, one, two, three countless past lives. This also clearly demonstrates that faith has many lifetimes.
He is uncertain in the cycle of birth and death, and therefore has to suffer many hardships, to find the builder of this house - the reason for this body. He always find the cause that has dragged himself drifting in the lives, live and die, die and reborn again, endlessly endless. Find but not see.
In the last of his life, in the midst of the solitary confidences of the sacred forest, he goes deep into the meditation work which he has cultivated far and wide in the past. He discovered the house builder always wanted to know.
This man is not a strange place outside, but is potentially hidden inside Him. It is craving, self-creation, a mental component that always sleeps inside everyone. Finding the house builder, know the cause of attracting beings in the cycle of birth and death, ie he has eradicated AI.
The flank of the house itself is the defilements such as greed, anger, delusion, conceit, wrong view, cunning, unlucky, no shame, no fear of the consequences of evil actions. . The thunderstorm tolerates the flank of ignorance, the arising of all desires. He broke the thunderbolt and collapsed the house. His light of wisdom has permanently repelled the night of ignorance. The ribs and thimbles are the building materials that the craftsman uses to set up the house. Out of material, workers can no longer build the house anymore.
Lesson
Through the work of the path and the attainment of the Buddha, we find that he first came to study with two teachers and meditation quiet (samatha bhàvanà) to the ultimate. If he keeps this level until he dies, he will be reborn in the realm of samsara, enjoying extremely noble and very long life, but still in the Three Realms. Oil can live up to 84 thousand a year-age, but then, when the life expectancy ends, it must also be reborn into uncertainty in samsara. Silent meditation does not lead to liberation.
We often hear "to be born wisdom," and sometimes misunderstanding is that when meditation to the degree of "determination" is naturally "wisdom" arises. But this word only means that when the concentration of concentration to "concentration" is used as the basis for the development of "wisdom."
Under normal circumstances, the human mind is always mobile. The meditator does not let this mind jump, in the past, or the other end, until the future, because when the mind is so quick to jump like that, can not relieve a point. Meditations of Tranquility, meditators try to concentrate mind, always mindful and aware, precaution every time the mind, until reaching the state of calm and calm. Tranquility meditates temporarily to overcome mental obstacles such as craving, anger, ignorance, drought, depression, anxiety and craving, mental progression, wise and conscientious. But do not be misunderstood that when the mind is completely relaxed, the wisdom of course is born. Wisdom is not something that automatically arises, and has many levels of intelligence and levels of understanding: crude, medium and delicate. Wisdom or insight (vipassanànàna) is the clear and deep understanding of the true nature of things.
The meditator is determined to use the mind to reflect things and develop wisdom by insight meditation (vipassanà bhàvanà). Noun vipassana, insight, means to see an unusual way. There is something beyond the normal range, seen clearly. Insight knowledge is the wisdom to realize the truth. This is not to see through the surface that things are right in their context, seeing things under the light of the three characteristics, impermanent, suffering, not self. This Vipassana meditation, based on the tranquility of the mind, allows the meditator to wash away all defilements in the mind to the extreme, removing all the illusions of the "I", seeing Reality of all things and realization of Nirvana. That is the Path to Deliverance .
Seven Week After Citizenship
After the extraordinary magic battle that lasted six years, Gotama, then thirty-five years old, destroyed all the defilements, stopped all the craving process and realized the reality of all things, became a Buddha, the Transfiguration, the full level.
The First Week - During the first seven days after the Buddha 's Enlightenment sitting motionless under the shadow of the Bodhi Tree to experience the Happiness of Suffering (vimutti sukha).
On the night of the week, he meditated and meditated on the Paticca Samuppada in the following way: "When there is this (cause), there is this (consequence), With the arising of this (cause), this (fruit) arises. "
Dependent on the ignorant (avijjà), samkhārà, good and unwholesome, arise.
- Depending on the place, consciousness (vinugana) arises.
- Subject-consciousness, Name-Sac (nàma-rùpa) arises.
- Depending on the Name-Sac, the pool (salàyatana) arises.
Dependent on the Sixfold, the phassa arises.
Depending on where, feeling (vedana) arise.
- Depending on where, feeling (tanhà) arise.
Dependent on Ai, the Player (upàdàna) arise.
- Depending on where, bhava (bhava) arise.
Depending on the place, there is birth (jàti).
Dependent on birth, arises jarà, marana, soka, parideva, dukkha, domanassa and upayaàsa.
At that moment, understood the meaning of this, the Buddha read the happy verse as follows: "Indeed, when the truth revealed to the holy man who diligently diligently diligently and meditate , how much cynicism is dissipated, because he has thoroughly understood the truth and causes. "
In the middle of the night, the Buddha meditated on the Twelvefold Path in reverse as follows:
"When this cause is gone, this consequence disappears, and with the cessation of this cause, the fruit ceases."
- With the cessation of ignorance, the action ceases.
- With the cessation of the action, the consciousness ceases.
- With the cessation of consciousness, the Name ends.
- With the cessation of the Name-Lama, the Six Continents are terminated.
- With the cessation of the Sixfold, the Ending.
- With the cessation of the contact, the feeling ceases.
- With the cessation of feeling, the passion ceases.
- With the cessation of the craving, the cessation ceases.
- With the cessation of the Player ceases.
With the cessation of existence, birth ceases.
With the end of Birth, Aging, Death, Depression, Depression, Depression, Depression, and Depression terminate.
At that time, understood the meaning of this, the Buddha read on the joyful shelves as follows: "Indeed, when the truth revealed to the holy man who diligently diligently and meditatively mindlessness, how much cynicism is dissipated, because he has been thoroughly aware of the eradication of causes. "
On the third watch, the Buddha contemplates the "Dependent Origination" in the direction of the reverse and the reverse as follows: "When there is this person, this fruit. With the arising of this cause, this fruit arises. Without this cause, this fruit does not exist.
Dependent on the ignorance, action arises, etc. Thus, the whole mass of suffering arises.
With the cessation of ignorance, the end of suffering ... So the whole mass of suffering ceases.
At that time, understood the meaning of this, the Buddha read the happy verse as follows:
"Indeed, when the truths of the discoverer manifest to the saint who diligently diligently meditated and meditated in silence, he steadily broke off the wings of the magecraft as well as the sunlight that shattered the darkness and light. bright sky. "
Second Week - The second week went through a quiet but peaceful silence. The Buddha gave the world an important lesson. Expressing deep gratitude to the invisible bodhi tree that sheltered him during the battle to attain the Path. He stood a long distance to look at the Bodhi tree for a whole week without blinking. Later, where the Buddha stood for a week to see the Bodhi tree King Asoka has set up a memorial stupa called Animisalocana Cetiya.
In accordance with the noble example and to celebrate the glorious success of that, to this day, Buddhists still respect, not only the original Bodhi tree, but also the seedling tree. One branch, extracted from the right hand side of the original bodhi tree, was brought from India by Sri Sultan Sanghimitta Theri to Sri Lanka. It was planted by King Devánampiya Tissa at the ancient capital Anuradhapura, Sri Lanka. So far, this tree is still lush and welcoming to the worship of millions of enthusiastic pilgrims. Many seedlings were planted and replanted in many parts of the island and in remote countries.
Third Day - Because the Buddha did not leave the shelter, but still around the Bodhi tree, the gods at that time also suspected, do not know he has attained the Buddha. Reading this idea, the Buddha used the power of miracle to create a "precious path" (ratana cankamana, precious business as diamond jewels) and go up and down walking meditation throughout the week.
Week Four - In the fourth week, the Buddha dwells in the "preserve" (ratanaghara, so called because the Buddha meditates on the precious part of the Dhamma) to meditate on the complex points of the Logic. (Abhidhamma). Scripture notes that when he contemplates on the causal relation (patthàna, the position of the mind), the seventh sense of the Logic, his mind and body become completely pure and thus emits a layer. The six colors are blue, yellow, red, white, orange, and six colors.
Thursday Week - In the fifth week the Buddha sits under the tree of the famous ajapàla (a kind of skin), experiencing happiness (vimutti sukha). At the end of the week, when he came out of that supernatural state, a huhunkajàtika came to the ritual and said: "Gotama Gotama, How do we become a saint, and what conditions make us holy?
To answer, the Buddha read the verse:
"The other person shunned all evil things, no more arrogant (huhunka), purified all defilements, collected the Sphere, through all the Dharma and had rightly lived the holy life, he He is a saint, and there is no elation in him anywhere in the world. " (Part I)
According to the commentary of Tuc Sanh Truyen, this week three daughters of Mara tried to seduce the beauty of the Buddha, but failed.
The Sixth Day - From the Buddha ajapàla the Buddha to the Mucalinda tree and dwell for a week to experience the Blessed Happiness. Suddenly a heavy rain came. It was dark under dark clouds and cold winds blew for days. At that time, Mucalinda, crown king, from the elbow, bending himself wrapped around the Buddha seven rounds and take the big beak on His head. Thanks to that, the heavy rain did not touch the body of the Buddha.
By the end of the seventh day, the cloud returned to Mucalinda, and he removed himself from the snake, and became a young man, holding his hand in front of the Buddha. And the Buddha read the following verse:
"To the one who has attained Truth, who has tried to listen to the truth and has seen it, it is a life of recluse." On earth, the person who has good heart, who knows the end, for all beings, is happy. Non-attachment, beyond the desire is happiness, breaking the "ego" is the ultimate happiness. (Udanie, p. 10)
