IN  TIME  Asoka

About  A Kingdom
It can be said that  A prince  is one of the   greatest  emperors in  Indian history . Up to now, after more than two thousand years,  his fame  and  virtue  are still revered by the Indians  He reigned from 269 BC to 232 BC, belonging to the 3rd reign  of  the Mauryadynasty . His empire was vast, almost all of the  Indian subcontinent  stretching east to west.

After turning  back  to  Buddhism ,  Asoka  dóc  wholeheartedly  upholding  and positive slant  Buddhism . From an evil king called this kingdom  become  biased kingdom ,  ie from  an evil king poles  become  an extremely good kings  wholeheartedly  upholding the Buddhist  law. On his position, he was  upholding the Buddhist  approach a  positiveand  effective . The  aggregation classic  for the third time in 250 BCE at about  Hoa Thi Thanh  ( Pataliputta) Is one of the  aggregation  important is the  protection  of  King Asoka . History  records that  the Tripitaka , Law and Comment are  fully assembled  and recorded in writing. In this  gathering  , apart from the purification of the  Sangha  , another   important issue is bringing the  teachings  of  the Buddha  to countries outside India . Namely,  there are nine delegations to different areas to  propagate the Dharma .
Nine   out of the mission
According to chronicles  of Sri Lanka , during  the reign  of  Asoka  consists of  nine union  missionaries  abroad according to his suggestions  Maudgalyayana word for word . The great monks were sent to nine regions to  propagate  Buddhism . All of them are monks who  are well versed in the  Tipitaka ,  professors of the  Buddha-dharma and are capable of teaching the  teachings in  a   proficient manner . This is considered as  the first time  in the history  of  Indian Buddhism ,  Buddhism passed out of territory. Since then,  Buddhism  began to appear throughout the continents of Asia and Europe.
This is  seen as  the  event  laid the foundation for the first preacher  of Buddhism  in the  world . Chin Group  mission  specific :
1. The first delegation went to  Kashmir  and  Gandhara , led by Majjhantika , accompanied  by five other monks. Here, the delegation  used  the  magical energy  to submit to  a dragon and teach the people teachings of  the Buddha  through  the Āsivisūpama  and  Āsīvisa  in  the Sutra . Texts Asivisupama  like a  story  fable about the power  of the evil that  human  consciousness  is. And teach a  sutta The other is Āsīvisa , which speaks of the dangers of  anger .
Kashmir and Gandhara zone remote of  India  at that time, very few  monks  of goods .Therefore, in these areas in the  precepts  opened more, possibly from 5 monk was conducted by a  University of ordination  ordination . This is the  case  for  gender-mail where  marginal locations  without large  Sangha  occupants . In  this case  there must be  at least  one  Law  Enforcement Officer and understand the Law of the Apostles. While in other areas  Buddhist  strong, there must be full  Three Lions, New evidence of celebrating  a great  world .

The  Aparantaka  was identified west of the  Indian subcontinent ,  including  northern Gujarat, Kathiawar, Kachch  and  Sindh . In this area   the Greek community may have gathered. Today the city of Gujarat is named  Junagadh  called  "City of the Greeks".

Union  Missionary  8th from 2 he  Sonaka  and  Uttara  to the  Triangle  of gold belonging to Burma to  teaching experience  Brahmajâla . In it, the analysis of the speculation  of  philosophy  and the strong branch to  the moral behavior  of  man .According to the Mahāvamsa, the  emperor  Asoka sent two monks,  Sona  and  Uttara, to  Suvannabhumi  to  propagate  Buddhism .
9. The  Mahinda Group  came to  Sri Lanka  to  teach the  Cūlahatthipadopama  and some  other suttas . In particular, strong arm to the  belief  true  in  the Three Jewels .
Name of nine union  missionaries  also see  appear  on  Samantapasadika , where the details  interesting  was launched.
According  Sasanavamsa  referring to 5th place in the East  South Asia  Asia, where Group  missionaries  of  Asoka  preached  scriptures and feast  Three Refuges  for every  Buddhist . It is  Kasmira  and  Gandhara  are in the south of  Kabul; Mahisamandala  is in  Andhra ; Vanavasa  is in the area around the Prome; The Aparantaka is on the west side of the  Irrawaddy; Maharattha  is Thailand, Yona is the land of Shan tribe   and  Suvannabhumi  (  yellow triangle area  ) is Thaton  is in the republic of Burma.
The result of the  mission
One of the  achievements  the most important is tied to  tradition  of  Buddhist Theravada tradition  which is the  aggregation of  the teachings  of  the Buddha . These great achievements  lasted for centuries as  Emperor Asoka sent  monks who  were proficient in the  Tipitaka  and could  recite it  to teach in nine different  countries  and territories.
It must be said that the  mission  to  Ceylon ,  Kashmir  and  Gandhara  was very successful . The result is a  long period  of  Buddhism that is  present  and  dominating in those regions. [3]  The   greatest success of  King Asoka  was to bring  Mahinda  's son to  Sri Lanka  along with four other  monks  and a  monk . Group  mission  has succeeded  in  metabolism the king  of Ceylon  at that time  became  a  Buddhist upholding the Buddha  dharma, and is the repository of  the Tripitaka  Pali  until  today.Another  success  was  the  missionary mission  to Egypt and Greece. Here there is a mixture and  thought  of the Greeks and  the teachings  of Buddhism  at that time. Therefore, there was the  presence of a  community  who follow Buddhism in  society  of ancient Greece,  especially  as there are  monasteries  first built  before the Christian era. [4]  The role  of  Greek monks in the development of  Buddhism  here is very important. It must refer to  the  Menander dynasty  mentioned in the  Mahāvamsa .There  appeared  a  prayer  important organ that is located in Beijing Hau  Nagasena without pretentious . It mainly  describes  the  question and answer  between Master Na Lan  and King  Milinda . The content of this dialogue is  transmitted , Buddhistcircles  worship near  par  with the classics by  the metal gate  Buddhist saying. Particularly  for   Burmese Buddhism , this sutra was recorded in  the Ministry  of the Five Ages in the  Five  Sutras of  the  Theravada Buddhist Canon . The   earliestoccurrence of this business is  around  the first century BC. And places  appear  for the first time must have been the Northwest  India , in the basin of  Ngu Ha , which happened dialogues.
One thing worth mentioning here, that the flexibility of the  monks  missionaries  in this period too  successful  by  using  media  rights tricks to  teaching  beings . Buddhism  in each  country  is integrated with  the  cultural traditions and customs of that region. Key to this integration that made  Buddhism  gradually  foothold  firm  and to develop sustainability  in each locality.
Thus,  we  can say that  A prince  has a   great role in  spreading  the Dharma of  the Buddha  not only in  India  but also in other parts of  the world . Nine delegations missionaries  are  protected  by  Ashoka , they quite easily in the transmission of Buddhist teachings to the people. And  gradually  ingrained sell-law  became  the center of  Buddhism  developed strong later.
Regarding  Moggaliputta Tissa , the  central figure  in  Asoka  's  evangelical activities, the inscription " Sappurisasa Mogalīputasa " is engraved in the inscription, showing  hisimmensely  important role in  King Asoka Who are capable of  converting  the king from taking main war  of aggression  and massacre do pleasures  become  a king upholding  and  spreading Buddhism  the greatest  in the history of the Buddhist world  , but  until      Everyone  admits .END=NAM MO SAKYAMUNI BUDDHA.( 3 TIMES ).VIETNAMESE TRANSLATE ENGLISH BY=THICH CHAN TANH.THE MIND OF ENLIGHTENMENT.VIETNAMESE BUDDHIST NUN=GOLDEN LOTUS MONASTERY=AUSTRALIA,SYDNEY.21/5/2018.
