Trust in Pure Land.

Buddha Shakyamuni has said that there is a Pure Land where Amitabha Buddha abides, so we believe this. Amitabha Buddha tells us that his kingdom is very beautiful.

Belief in the Pure Land 

Buddha Shakyamuni has said that there is a Pure Land where Amitabha Buddha is staying, so we believe this. Amitabha Buddha tells us that his kingdom is very beautiful.If you want to practice Pure Land, first you need to understand this method, so you can practice. Your accomplishments will depend on your level of understanding of this practice. You need to understand why Amitabha Buddha wants to say the Amitabha, so you have confidence to practice. You must know why you want to go to the Pureland.How do you feel about getting there? Do you have confidence and generous volunteers?

You need to practice in your mind. After you have believed in the Pure Land outside, you will believe in the Pure Land within your mind. Eventually you will see the world as the Land of Ultimate Bliss. 

You know there's America, though you've never been there; But you know someday I'll go there. The same for the Pureland. 

If you decide to go to the Pure Land, then right now, you must believe that there is a Pure Land. Thus, you will become confident, to be able to practice. One who attains liberation, enlightenment, he may come or go into the Pure Land as he wishes. I was not enlightened, but in my dreams, I used to go there.

The responsibility is on us. Because we have done evil deeds, we are born in this world of suffering; We are here to rectify our past negative actions. For one day, we can return to the Pure Land. 

There are three things that need to be cultivated in the Pure Land Dharma. First of all, there must be shinjin, to believe that there is the Pure Land of Amitabha Buddha.Second, you have to make a wish go there, and the third is you practice. 

For example, you first believe that there is Fo Kuang Shan in the south of Taiwan. Then you have to make a wish to go there. You can get there by plane, bus or private car and you need money to buy tickets and everything else.

Do you want to know the Pure Land? I understand you are interested in knowing how to practice this method, but if you want to know how to practice it, first you need to know how it is. If not, you may end up quitting. 

It is full of golden trees and beautiful crystalline lakes. There you do not have to worry about traffic jams or dropping the plane. Lots of lotus flowers; The small lotus is as big as the island of Taiwan. The place is very comfortable and you can sit on the lotus if you want. You can travel as you wish, completely free, no travel card. If you like to wear nice clothes, you are naturally beautiful. If you want to eat well, they will immediately appear in front of you. Every time you think about something, you will be as desired.

The Pure Land is also called the Land of Ultimate Bliss. I am the happiest and richest person in the world. Every day at work, I listen to chanting and my mind is full of Ultimate Bliss while working. As I walked, I was walking on the lotus petals, so I was always happy. When I die, I will go to the Pure Land; However, I know that right now I am also living in the Pure Land. 

Let It Be Natural  

I'm trying to live a peaceful life. Whenever someone wants to argue about something, I say to myself, "Let go, let it go." Slowly, I try to get rid of every problem so that I can live happily ever after. In my daily life I try to say only good things about people.

One day, I dreamed of going to the Pure Land. There were seven treasures, and one took me to see them. I picked one and said, "That's beautiful!" When I came back, I saw Amitabha Buddha. I also saw the Buddha's treasure. 

Another time I dreamed of the diamonds and I wondered why the diamonds grow on the trees. I saw a girl in Amitabha Buddha's realm, and asked her if I could bring a tree. I picked up a tree about 0.3 meters high. At the end of the tree is a lotus and this lotus I give you.

Three years ago, I visited a museum, where there are precious treasures. The instructor asked if I wanted to come closer to see. I told him it was not necessary, because the rare treasures were in the Pure Land. I want to say the treasure is in my heart, so I do not need fake diamonds. 

All that is described in the Amitabha is true. It is not something you have to believe, it is true, the Pureland is real. There was a ship going to the Pure Land, and I also dreamed it. All these dreams increase my confidence in the Pure Land. Do you want to go to the Pure Land?

In ten years, I used clay, molding the statues of the Great Bodhisattva, Avalokitesvara, Samantabhadra and Manjushri. After these statues, I sculpted Amitabha Buddha. I sculpted Amitabha Buddha to prostrate and admire Him, to create merit into the Pure Land. In a dream, I saw Amitabha gradually turning into rice and this made me realize that rice helps our body to be healthy. 

Practice 

I feel Buddha Amitabha has been helping me in my practice. After the completion of the statue of Amitabha Buddha, I made a statue of Amitabha and two statues of Ma Ha Tat, who are protecting the Pure Land. When I finished the three statues, I began to study the scriptures. I read about the Nembutsu, how to concentrate thoughts and how to think of Amitabha Buddha Pure Land.

When I discovered the Amitabha Sutra, I started to recite it 15 times a day. My dreams correspond to the content of the sutras. In the Pure Land, there are about six or seven hierarchies and I continue to practice until I reach the highest level. I recited Amitabha Buddha's name every time I worked and was not busy. After 5 pm, when I returned to my room, I chanted again. 

Once you have entered the sutras, you can recite it within 5 minutes. On the way from office to private room, I read three times. I also recite Amitabha. After 30,000 repetitions, you know that Amitabha Buddha is already in your mind, but this is not done in a day.The sutra teaches me to always think of the greatness of Amitabha Buddha.

Sometimes I take a special practice, within a week I just memorized the name of Amitabha Buddha. Many people meet, practice and recite Buddha's name. When I returned to the seat, I saw Amitabha Buddha so great, so great that I could only see the Buddha's body, not see his hands. 

In my dreams, I saw Amitabha Buddha and Quan Yin and I bowed. The statues are located under the trees, on a beautiful altar. Amitabha sitting on a lotus thrice, holding my hand, like a mother holding her hand. 

Every day I worship Buddha many times. In my own room, I have a small altar with many statues of Bodhisattvas that I prostrate daily over 100 times.

By reciting Buddha's name and chanting, I will create many merits. All the merits I have, I will dedicate to all and then I will go to the Pure Land. 

I am the richest person.  

When I have time, I practice and I also help the monastery by doing the office work. I have been a monk for over 10 years; Before that, I worked as an accountant for an office in Taipei. I wanted to learn about Buddhism, to become a Buddhist monk, but I did not find a suitable place. I dream of a mountain and have the feeling that the Buddha dwells there. It is like a lotus world, but in Taiwan there are many mountains, I do not know where to look or where to go.

At first I went to Yungmin Nunnery, where Hiu Wan often taught, but I was too old to attend that retreat. I am 31 years old, and this course is only for people under the age of 30. Then I heard about Pho Quang Son, where nuns under the age of 35 can enter. So I went out and joined this course. 

One day, I chanting Quan Yin, and after finishing my walk, looked up at the mountain peaks. I found these mountains very familiar. They are the mountains I dreamed of before. I turned back and bowed to Quan Yin, because I knew I had found the place I was looking for.

During the course, I had to learn about Buddhist art. I do not like this subject very much, because I do not think I have the art, but my teacher is very excited. I asked her how to draw and mold a lotus flower, and from there, I began to have more interest in sculpting.After carving the lotus, I decided to sculpt the Buddha. 

I do the accounting so I have to count the money, but no matter what, because every dollar I count, I recite Buddha Amitabha, Amitabha Buddha! In my mind, all are Amitabha Buddha. I am very happy, I am the richest. Everywhere in my house, in my heart are Amitabha Buddha. The tree outside, inside me, everything is the Pure Land.
