No brutal aggression, easy-to-follow posture, diligence and patience; But it is often mistaken for idiocy. This is the characteristic of buffalo, which is also characteristic of sentient beings. The Buddha does not necessarily regard sentient beings like cattle. Buddhist scriptures that talk about buffalo, is referring to the nature of stupid si, no mind in every sentient beings. The virtue of the Buddha is that of the reigning monk, so he is a shepherd, or a skillful car driver, bringing beings to the peaceful city of liberation.

The idiocy of beings is not just one. It is stupid depending on the type, so there are ranks, there are separate ways of treatment. From ordinary people, to omnipotent, bodhisattvas, and even Zen masters, every action and every effort for action, is likened to buffalo herding.

I. Buffalo of ordinary people:

Dhamma verse, verse I, Song weak, said:

"In the French, the mind is leading, the mind is the master, the heart artifacts all. If anyone speaks or acts with akusala citta, the suffering will follow as the wheel rolls in the foot of the animal.

In this verse, karma is like a carriage, but Pāli is vahato, not necessarily buffalo. But it can also be said that it is a buffalo.

The life or longevity of every living being, such as a buffalo, old age is a stick, grass is death, and the male is the karma. The life of sentient beings is driven to death by old age, as buffaloes are thrown out by pastures to the pasture. The buffalo targets grasslands, life is about to die. Creatures are not self-reliant in action, just as buffalo is not self-reliant in its preferences.

If you keep eleven, the shepherd can make the buffalo stronger and more abundant.

Here are eleven thoughts of the shepherd, corresponding to the eleventh mind of the monk:

- Know the colors.  Know the color of the buffalo: black, white, manifold.

Monks too. Know all the material things are the four elements and the four elements.

- Know the general.  Know buffalo have good or not good general. Compared to other buffalo that know.

Monks too. When the general good karma know that the people, see the general evil karma is known as stupid people.

- Know the dissection.  When the buffalo was poisoned by blood, the wound washes out. Know the operation, except the harmful things. 

Monks too. Seeing that it is evil, it is known that bloody venomous venereal disease causes more wounds. Get rid of it is safe.

- Cover the wound.  Or take the fabric, or take the leaves, cover the wound, do not let the mosquitoes sting. 

Monks too. The law of justice to cover the wound, not to let the toxic craving for greed, courtyard, stupefy sting wound caused.

- Smoke group.  Smog is to eliminate mosquitoes. Buffalo looked away and then went home.

- Good road . Know the path of good or bad buffalo.

Monks too. When teaching the Dharma, the Dharma is pure, and the good ones add up.

- Know to cross the river.  Know where easy to go down, easy to pass, no waves, no poison. 

Monks too. Often to the place of the multi-textured monks that ask the dharma, light or dark, heavy or light afflictions, makes it possible to enter the wharf, peacefully but escape.

-Safe.  Know where to live with or without leopards, lions, worms, mammals. 

Monks too. Knowing the Four Noble Truths is a place of peace, no evil, no beasts, no afflictions. Monks in that place will be safe, no worries.

- Keep milk.  Mother Buffalo love buffalo should sneak milk. If the remaining milk for mother buffalo, milk cows are not thirsty. Thus, buffalo owners and herdsmen on the day is more useful.

IV. Master's buffalo:
