sutra An Truc Tam.
This sutra was said by the Buddha at the monastery level, Sàvatthi. The sutras are self-taught and exemplary.
The contents of the sutras, the Buddha pointed to the methods of revenge of the mindset, evil mind to lead to the destruction of these thoughts, evil to achieve the tranquility of the mind. These methods help the mind of the practitioner at every promotion so called hyperbolic. The Buddha listed five generals, can be called five ways, to help suspend evil thoughts, leading to calm, one-pointedness, calm the interior.
The five methods are:
1. When the practitioner meditates, he or she thinks of a certain general condition, rather than leading to tranquility, attainment of ungodliness, anger, immorality; Again, arousing apprehension, anger and delusion, he immediately went on to another form which gave rise to good thoughts to counter previous crimes. Thanks to such an object that the evil thoughts are suspended, gradually leading to destruction. By destroying the evil thoughts that the mind is staying, static.
2- In the case of using another form of work to develop good thinking and still have no results; Desires, anger, ignorance continue to rise, then the practitioners turn to another way. The second way is to initiate a reflection on the dangers and the harmful effects of these evil thoughts. Such as identification: this is unwholesome thinking; This thinking leads to crime; This thinking leads to suffering ... Through such observation, thoughts of evil are suspended, leading to the calm, the one, the inner calm.
3- The third case is that if you observe the dangers and the sins that still do not succeed, then do not remember thinking, thinking about those thoughts or any other. By stopping all such thoughts leads to calm and calm.
4. If the suspense of all such thinking is still ineffective, then begin again by observing the modes of thought as well as the state of suspense. There are practitioners of such practice that suspend the evil thoughts, leading to calm, inner calm.
Finally, if all are null and void, use the mind-controlled mind (mind-centered mind); Immediate use of mind to control the mind. Thanks to the mental institution of mindfulness, hope is suspended; leading to the calm, calm of the interior.
(The question here is: is the mind is upset, the mind has not managed to concentrate, where the mind that control the mind? - The answer may be derived from the fourth stage; acting as the generals of evil thoughts without seeing the place of origin nor seeing their place of origin, the seeing, the knowing is the mind. intellectual property, maintain mindfulness, the mind is not born).
The Buddha used an example to get a better one to replace a worse thing. For example, a carpenter uses a new, good wedge to close the old wedge, damaged.END=NAM MO SHAKYAMUNI BUDDHA.( 3 TIMES ).VIETNAMESE TRANSLATE ENGLISH BY=THICH CHAN TANH.THE MIND OF ENLIGHTENMENT.VIETNAMESE BUDDHIST NUN=GOLDEN LOTUS MONASTERY=AUSTRALIA,SYDNEY.12/9/2017.
