461. The Great Dasaratha (Dasaratha)
Lak-kha both gentle and Shinto. That is,
the Master said in Ky Vien about a landlord whose father died.
When his father died, his heart filled with grief and he left all his work, he was in deep despair. One morning, the Master looked down upon the world, realizing that he had come to maturity. On that day, when he was begging for alms at Sādas, and when he was done, he told the monks to return, and then he brought a young monk, went to his home. He greeted him and said to him as he sat there with sweet words like honey:
- Layman, are you melancholy?
- Yes, White World. I'm sad because my father died!
The master said:
- The layman, the wise people in ancient times understand the eight worlds of this law (gain and loss, honor and shame, praise and criticism, Lost and lost), so when his father died, they do not feel sad, even just a little.
Then, according to his request, he told a story of the past.
* At
one time, in Bala, a great monarch named Dasaratha, renounced the evil and ruled the Dhamma. Of the sixteen thousand concubines, the prelate gave birth to two princes and one princess; The prince is named Ràma Pandita or Rāma sage. The second is named Lakkhana or Cat Tuong and the princess is Sità or Thanh Luong.
By the time the prime minister dies. At the time of her death, the king was disturbed for a while, but when prompted by the courtiers, he celebrated her funeral, then appointed another non-nobleman to serve as chief minister. This king was very fond of the king. Then she conceived, the king caring thoughtful and carved a royal, Named as Bharata.
The king loved him and said:
- Dear, I give her a favor, she chose.
She received the privilege, but asked her to postpone the choice for some time. When the child was seven years old, she came to see the king and said:
- Most holy, he promised to give a special privilege to the son, son of the concubine, now he would give him the card?
"Please choose," said the king.
"Great Lord," she said, "give this kingdom to my goddess."
The king shows no need to her:
- Exit now, this evil female! He said angrily. My two daughters glow like two pink flames, Do you want to kill them and demand a throne for your children?
She panicked to run to her magnificent palace, and the next day, again tried to ask the king of grace forever. The King refused to grant her the gift. He thought to himself, "The woman is often grievances and betrayal, and this vicar may use fraudulent or fraudulent manslaughter to kill our children." So he summoned two children and told him everything, and said,
"Two daughters, if you are here, disaster may happen to you. So go through the kingdom next to me, or into the forest, and when our body was cremated, return to inheritance belongs to your family.
Then he summoned the priests to inquire about his life span. They said that he could live another twelve years. Then he said:
- Children, After twelve years you must return and raise the royal robe.
The two lord promised to finish the sentence and leave the palace as weeping. Princess Sità said:
- I will also go with two parents.
She entered the farewell to the king, just as we walked away crying.
The three brothers set out among the crowd. The three told the people to retreat, and move on until they went to the mountainous area. There, in a place where there is much water flowing, and convenient to pick up wild berries, two am erected and live there with fruit.
Authors Lakkhana and Sità told Rama:
"Great sages are our father's place, so stay in the am and we will go to pick the fruits of our parents.
He agreed. Since then Rama sage was at home, while the two went with the forest to feed him.
The three lived there and fed their wild wild fruits, but King Dasaratha wilted to remember that the children should have died in the ninth year. While celebrating the king's funeral, the queen ordered the king of Bharata to issue a crown to her son. But the courtiers said:
- The lordly king of this parasol is in the forest.
So the masses do not allow it. Prince Bharata again said:
- I will go to find the royal mother Rama in the woods and take the lion king.
Bring along the five emblems of the royal family (sword, white crown, crown, comedy and fan of buffalo tail feathers), he set off with a convoy of four army (elephant, , Infantry), to where they are staying. Not far away, he ordered camp, Then some of the courtiers went to the hiding place, at a time when the sage Lakkhana and Sità went to the forest.
Rāma sage is sitting at the door, carefree and serene like a solid gold statue. The king approached him, bowed and stood aside, told him everything that happened in the kingdom, kneeled down at his feet and the courtiers burst into tears. Rama is not sad nor crying, his mind is no longer touched.
After Bharata had run out of tears and sat down, the two returned to the jungle until afternoon. Rama thought, "The other two are young, they have no awakened mind like me. If they suddenly heard that the king had died, the suffering would be too great for them to suffer, Who knows their hearts are not broken? So I would lure them into the water and find the means to reveal the truth.
"Then just showed them a place in front of the water, he said: - They go out so long, so here is how to repent. Go down the puddle and stand there.
Then he recited half rhyme:
1. Lak-kha gentle, as well as Tsui,
Step down the other that.
Just one word is enough, two step into the water and stand there. Shortly after, he reported to the children by half-rhyming:
Bha-ra has just said
Da-sa great ice.
When the two heard the news of the surrender, fainting. He repeats the message, the two fainted, the third time, they still fainted. The courtiers lifted them up and brought them out of the water and set them on dry soil. When they were comforted, they both cried and cried. At that time Prince Bharata thought: "Lakkhana and Siddhartha can not stop the sorrows when they hear the news of the king's death, but the sage Rama no mourn crying. We do not know what causes parents not to mourn. I will ask ".
Then he recited the second verse asked:
2. Said, Deam, by force, What
sad, brother do not sorrow?
Grief melancholy is not overwhelmed,
Although news of the lost father!
Then Rama explained why he did not feel sadness by answering:
3. When he did not hold anything,
Even if he was screaming,
So wise man
must be self-propelled by reason lie?
4. The youth,
Adults, Stupid people with smart,
Rich, poor, the end are sure,
To die individually between beings.
5. As I stand in front of the mulberry tree,
Or arise the fear of falling,
So also arise fear of death,
With mortal everywhere.
6. Many who have seen the morning,
Sometimes the evening has died,
And the person seen when the afternoon, The
morning was gone.
7. If the fool or mad, the
Bliss comes to nature.
When it spontaneously springs with tears, the
Sage acts like the other.
8. This way it is self-propelled,
He is worn down again pale blue,
Tears do not do anything useful, Do
not make the dead are resurrected.
9. As the blazing flames rose,
extinguished immediately with river water,
And the strong, gentle, wise people,
people understand the doctrinal expertise,
Sadness bring trouble as cotton,
When a hurricane blowing storm stomach.
10. Once the creature has to leave,
another person is born,
joined with many straps,
with the same characteristics as a source, the
blessings of each are dependent
.
11. The strong, the mundane mysterious, the
obscure in this life and after life,
Understand this common nature of them,
So do not be sad,
Make your mind fluctuate,
No matter how much suffering .
12. So we should devote ourselves,
Take care of the offerings,
I will preserve the old relics,
It is the action of the sage.
In these verses, he explained the impermanence of things.
When the congregation hears this dharma of Rāma sage clarifying the law of impermanence, they dissipate all melancholy. Then Prince Bharata praised Rama and asked him to receive the kingdom of Balah. The sage Rāma said,
"Queen, bring Lakkhana and Sità to the king, and take care of the king himself.
- Princess, do not, the gods assume the country.
- King, the king has ordered us to receive the nationality after twelve years. If we go back now, we will not obey your orders. So three years from now.
- So who will water this time?
- the king himself.
- You do not want that.
- Then until we return, this comedy will do it.
Rama says, then remove the straw balm, giving it to the king. So the three took the comedy, from the sage and sail back to Bala with a large crowd of escorts.
For three years, the comedians ruled the kingdom. The courtiers put them on the throne, when the congregation judged something. If the suit is misjudged, the comedy will hit each other. And when he saw that sign, the other thing was re-examined, until the right judgment was done.
When the three years were over, the wise man came out of the forest, went to Balaclava, and entered the royal palace. The crowds heard him come, accompanied by a large convoy to the garden, And Sità do as the chief minister, then perform the empowerment (sprinkling holy water) for both. When the empowerment was complete, the Emperor stood on a magnificent crown with a crowded crowd going into the city, walking around in a circle in the direction of the right, and then rising to the top of the great palace. The great Sucandaka, he ruled there very well for sixteen thousand years, and later went on to join the assembly of the gods.
Rhyme shelves from intellectual supreme explain the ending story:
One Hundred Years multiplied sixty times,
A thousand years more, stories that
Dung Dr. Ramah to reign,
Joint him three thousand, happy overflow
* .
When the Teacher finished this Dharma talk, he proclaimed the Truth. At the end of the Truths, Landlords have been residing in Preliminary (Provisional).
Then he identified the precursor:
- At that time, King Suddhodana was King Dasaratha, Queen Mahathai is the mother, Rāhula's mother is Sità, Ananda is Bharata and I is Rama sage.

When the Teacher finished this Dharma talk, he proclaimed the Truth. At the end of the Truths, Landlords have been residing in Preliminary (Provisional).
Then he identified the precursor:
- At that time, King Suddhodana was King Dasaratha, Queen Mahathai is the mother, Rāhula's mother is Sità, Ananda is Bharata and I is Rama sage.

462. The Story of Prince Samvara (Samvara)
The old monk was very clear,
this story told the Master during his stay in Ky Vien about a monk who did not keep up the effort.
We know that this is a son-in-law of Siddhartha, after hearing the Dharma Master, who renounced the secular. While fulfilling all the duties set by the professors and teachers, he had memorized the parts of the Patimokka Precepts. After five years he said:
- When I was instructed to meditate meditation, I will stay in the forest.
Then he left the professors, entering a village on the border in the kingdom of Kosala. The people were satisfied with the way he lived, so he set up the leaves there. In the rainy season, with diligence, effort, he tried to reach meditation within three months, but did not achieve anything from this. Then he thought, "Indeed, I am the most zealous of the four worlds of the people who are preached by the Master. What else do I do with my life in the forest? "Then he thought to himself," I will return to Ky Vien, while admiring the merits of the Tathagata and listening to his voice. Lifetime there ".
So he dropped his effort, and made his way back to Ky Vien. His professors and tutors, and their close friends, asked him about the reason for his return. He told the other people, the public blamed him for this and questioned him why they did so. Then the masses led him to see the Master.
"Monks," the Master asked, "why do you lead a monk who does not want to come here?
Rising them answered:
- This bodhisattva has come here because he fell diligently.
- Is this the same as they told Ta? Asked the Master.
- Yes, White World. He answered.
Master said:
- Monks, why are you not diligent anymore? To a weak and lazy person, there is no noble result for him in this teaching, nor can he attain holy fruit. Only those who have the effort can accomplish it. In the old days he was full of courage, easy to teach, and so even the youngest of the hundreds of King Balaam's parents, he also won the white cassette by obeying the teaching of The sages.
That said, he told a story of the past.
*
One day, when King Brahmadatta reigned in Bala, The youngest of his hundred surname is Samvara. The king entrusted each of his sons to a minister who was responsible for teaching them the subjects they needed to study. The courtier teaches Samavara the Bodhisattva, he is wise, wide school, fulfilling duties as the father to the other. While each of the princes was educated like that, the courtiers often took them to visit the king. He gave each of them a town and commanded to take office.
When Samvara completed his studies, he asked the Bodhisatta,
"Father, if the king brings me to a town, what shall I do?
He said:
- Baby, when you were given a town, you must refuse and say: "King, you are the youngest in the house, Anyway, there will be no one at my feet, so I want to stay in this living place at my father's feet. "
Then one day, when Samvara came and bowed to him and was standing on one side, the king asked him, "Sir
, have you finished your studies?"
- King, was finished.
So choose a town.
If so, then the king will be empty, the king would stay at the king's foot, not where else to go.
The king was very happy and pleased.
After he stayed in his father's house, he asked the Bodhisatta,
"My father, what do you do?
He said:
- Please ask the father of an old royal.
He agreed and asked for a garden with the fruit he planted there, making friends with the powerful men in the city. He asked again what to do.
Bodhisatta asked: - Ask the king to allow distribution of money throughout the city.
He followed and never left a single person, he distributed the money throughout the city. He again consulted Bodhisattva and after asking the king for approval, he distributed food in the palace, slaves, horses and soldiers, no survivors; For foreign messengers arriving, he arranged accommodation for them, he set taxes for the merchants, everything to arrange, he was all alone.
So, on the advice of the great man, he made friends with people, including those living in families, to the unmarried, the people in the capital, the courtiers of this nation to the foreigners. , Thanks to his charisma, he combined his friendship with him like an iron wire: he was loved by everyone.
When the king was crippled on the throne, the courtiers asked him
, "Lord, when will God give us a white coat?"
He said to
them, "My lord, my princes have the right to a white cedar, but give it to those who please you.
So after his death, and when the funeral was celebrated, on Saturday, the troupers gathered and said, "Lord Buddha
ordered us to give the white one to those who please them." dozen. So whom our heart desires is Prince Samvara.
So the public carried a white cushion over his head with golden fringes, and he was crowned by the king.
Grandfather Samvara obeys the advice of the Bodhisattva should rule very correct Dharma.
There were ninety-nine princes who believed that his father died and a white corset had been raised for Samvara. They said:
- But it is the youngest in the house, the parasol does not belong to it. Let's hang it up for our captain.
They gather all forces, and send a letter to Samvara, forcing him to return the shackle or otherwise engage in battle, then the siege. The king reported this to the Bodhisatta and asked what he should do now. He said:
- Great king, he should not fight with the royal family. Divide the king's gold and silver into one hundred and ninety-nine parts to the king with this message: "Please accept the king's fortune, because he does not want to wage war with the king."
The king did so.
Then the prince, Prince Uposatha, summoned the other king to say:
- Hey brothers, no one is able to win this king, and this is my youngest brother. Even though it was my enemy before, it's not like that anymore, and we send gold and silver to us, not wanting to fight with us. Now we can not at the same time hold up the lace up for all, let's set aside for a single person, let alone our youngest brother to be king, so when we meet ours, they I will give back the royal silver to my brother, And back to his town.
Then all of them stopped the siege of the city and entered the city, no longer hostile. The king asked his courtiers to welcome the guests and the public to meet the Prince. The princes and their entourage crowded in, walked up the steps of the palace, knelt down in front of the great Samvara and sat down in a low place. But Samvara, sitting on a throne under a white casket, looked so majestic and glorious; Wherever he looked, the masses shook his whole body.
Prince Uposatha contemplates the magnificent splendor of Samvara, thinking to himself, "I am sure our king knows that Samvara will be king after his death, so he has given us towns where No place for my region. Then he recited three rhyme to tell the king:
1. The ancient monk was crystal clear,
Nature nature of the great king,
An many other royal prince,
Great King is not part.
2. It is the princess at the time of birth,
or at the first, to the heavens,
Because of the benefits to the nation,
so the royal family agreed to the words.
3. Say what power, Sam-va-ra,
Dai Ui beyond the royal family,
Why do not parents unite,
to occupy your high seat?
Hearing this, King Samvara dabbled in six verses to explain his character:
4. I never grudgingly offered
what was worthy of the great sage,
willing to give it respectfully,
and bowed down to my knees.
5. I do not care,
Want to learn all the virtue fair, the
sage teach the honest thing
In that they find joy.
6. We still hear the warranty
of many ranks, the sage,
My soul toward good,
I do not belittle the commandments.
7. Elephants fight with so many saints,
infantry, and sergeant serpents .
We do not cut back on the daily
wage , which pays for every home.
8. Noble noblemen are still coming in,
The magician is so tall,
They often praise that food,
Truly , Baculla is rich.
9. Such prosperity, merchants,
From many countries back and forth,
I shelter them - Prince,
truth, the patriarch has shown.
Prince Uposatha heard that the king's qualities were soaked in two verses:
10. The virtue goes beyond that of his people,
and he rules with righteousness,
and the higher the honor
of Samah, .
11. The prince protects the treasure,
the future monk will be safe,
avoid the enemy as the
Golden Thich I avoid the La-king.
King Samvara welcomed the parents solemnly. They stayed with the king for a month and a half, and said to the king
, "Great king, we want to see if any thief has landed on our land. May this dynasty be ten thousand!
They are out of the territory of everyone. As the king followed the teachings of the Bodhisattva, so when he shared, he went up to the congregation in Heaven.
*
When the Master discontinues this Dharma, he adds:
"Behold, you have followed the teaching, why did you not continue to do so?
Then He preached the Truth. At the end of the Truths, the monk was residing in the Precinct (Project).
He then identified the precursor:

463. The story of Suppàraka (the predecessor of Suppāraka)
The other spearhead knife, ..
This story Master said while staying in Vienna, about the fullness of wisdom won.
One day, we hear that in the evening, bhikkhus are waiting for the Tathagata to preach the dharma to the Sangha, and while sitting at the dharma hall, they say to one another,
"Bhikkhus, Indeed, the Master has great wisdom! Intellectual wisdom! Wisdom of wisdom, Flexible intellect! Sophisticated intellect! Intellectual wisdom! His wisdom meets the right place at the right time! The mind is as vast as the world, as the ocean is endless, as the sky is vastly spread: throughout all of Yemen there is no one who can compare to the Shia, like a rising wave. The ocean can not touch the shore, or if it touches the shore, the waves will shatter. Also, No one can attain wisdom by the Decalogue, or if he reaches the foot of the Master, it will shatter.
By these words they praised the Great Wisdom of the Sheikh. The Master entered, and asked
, "What are you saying while sitting here, monks?
Increase them with Him. He said:
- Not only now the new Tathagata full of wisdom. In the old days, when wisdom was not attained into right enlightenment, he also had wisdom. Even though he was blind, he knew through the signs of the ocean that in the ocean bury these pearls.
Then he told a story of the past.
*
One day a king named Bharu reigned in Bharu. There is a port town named Bharukacha or Bharu Lagoon. At that time, Bodhisattva was born in the family of a captain there, he was very kind, with brownish skin. His parents named him Suppāraka-Kumāra.
He grew up remarkably well, and even when he was only sixteen, he was fully acquainted with maritime arts. Then when his father died, he led the crew and paved the way for his maritime career, he was very clever, when he boarded, no ship came to harm.
Over time, he was injured by saltwater, so his eyes lost sight. After the event, although he was captain of the crew, he no longer pursued a business career, but decided to serve the king. He came to see the king for that purpose, and the king appointed him. Judges evaluate the treasures. From then on you valued the precious elephants, treasures and treasures.
One day, an elephant was presented to the king, the black elephant skin was black, so it could be made a statue. The king glanced at the elephant and ordered him to go to see the master. The soldiers led the animal to meet him. He touched the elephant with his hand and said:
- This elephant is not worthy of the statue. It has the character of a deformed animal in the back. When the mother gave birth to it, it was not strong enough to carry it on her shoulders, so she sat on the ground, so she had a disability in her hind legs.
They questioned the people who brought the elephant, and they replied that the wise man was telling the truth. When the king heard the other talk, he was very happy and gave orders to the master of eight gold coins.
Another day, people brought a horse to rise to the king. This animal is also led to the artificial level. He touched his horse with his arm and said,
- This animal is not suitable for the King of domination. On the day of her birth, her mother died; therefore, due to lack of breast milk, she did not grow up fully.
This statement of yours is also true too. When he heard the story, the king was very nice, and offered to give him eight more coins.
On another day, a car was brought to work as a lord. The king also brought this car to him. He touched his car and said:
- This car is made of hollow wood, so it is not suitable for the king.
His words are just like the words. The king was happy to hear this, so he gave him eight more. Once again, the king brought the king a precious precious rug, the king took it to him as before. He touched the rug, then said:
- There is a place where the mouse took a hole.
They watch carefully and see that place, next to the king. The beautiful king again told him eight coins.
At that time the new thinker thinking: "Only eight gold coins to see such miraculous things. This is the money donated to the barber, he must be the boy is often haircut! Why should I serve a king like that? I will return to my own home. "So he returned to the port of Bharukaccha and lived there.
At that time, several traders prepared a boat and were looking for a captain. They thought, "Sir Smart Suppāraka is a talented genius, there is no ship on the ship on the train anymore. Although he is blind, Suppàraka is still a great man. " So they went to him and invited him to be the captain.
"Dear friends," he said, "I'm blind, How can you boat?
"Sir, you are blind," said the merchants, "but he is the best man.
They persistently begged him incessantly, so he finally accepted.
"As you told me," he said, "I will be your captain."
Then he stepped onto their boat.
They drove out into the ocean. For seven days, the boat goes without any risk, and a left-wind winds up. The boat drifted for four months in the wilderness, until it was time to get into a place called the Khuramala Sea. Here the fish has a human body with a pointed or pointed blade, acrobatic underwater. The traders observe this fish, just ask what this Marine Name, just rummage the first:
1. The other spear like knife,
Just jumping high, back someday,
Say, Sup-pà, for you, What is
this sea known for?
Master heard this sentence, reviewing his knowledge of sailors, then responded to the second verse:
2. Port merchants Bhar-ka,
find silver and silver for sale far,
This is The fish of the area, the
boat of the people have gone through.
At that time, this ocean had many diamonds. The Colonel thought that if he told them this was a sea of diamonds, they would sink the ship by engrossing in diamonds. So he did not say anything, but after taking the boat, he took a rope and dropped the net as if catching fish. With this string, he picked up a bunch of diamonds and traces in the boat, and then he picked something of less value thrown into the sea.
The boat goes through the sea, to another sea called Aggimàla (Fire Zone). This sea shines as if a flaming fire, like the sun, is like the sun. The traders asked him through the rhyme:
3. Behold the ocean like a flame of pink,
Like the sun, you look,
Sup-pa, please tell friends,
What is the name of the ocean? 4. The traders
responded to them in the next verse:
4. The merchants in Bhar-ka, go
find gold and silver for a long distance,
this is the sea of Ag-gi, your
boat is gone.
Then the sea was full of gold, as before, he took up a bunch of gold and put it on the boat. By the sea the boat goes to a sea named Dadhimàla, sparkling like fresh milk or curd.
Traders again ask the name of the sea through the rhyme: 5. Behold the white sea like fresh milk,
White like a milk pudding ,
Sup-Pà, please tell friends,
What is the name of the sea?
The Great Master answered them in the next verse:
6. The merchants of Bhar-ka,
seeking silver for a long distance,
this sea of Da-dhi
;
In this sea there is a lot of silver. He took the silver in the same way as before, then took the ship. The boat crosses this sea and reaches an ocean called Nilavannakusamàla (Kusa grass), shaped like a black kusa grass or a rice field. The traders asked the name of the sea through the rhyme:
7. Behold, blue sea like grass wall
,
Sup-pà, tell your friends,
What is the name of the ocean?
He responded via shelves next rhyme:
8. Hey traders Origin Bhar-ka,
my search for the distance selling of gold and silver,
ocean here the Ku-sa, the
boats of people who communicate through.
Then in this sea there are many precious jade. Just as before, he took a pile of jade and stored it on a boat. Passing out of the sea, the boat goes to a sea called Nalamàla (Reef Lash), shaped like a reed field or a bamboo forest. Traders ask the name of the sea through the rhyme:
9. Behold the ocean like a clump,
As we see the bamboo,
suppose to say to friends, how is
this sea called?
The Great Master responds with the following verse:
10. The merchants of Bhar-ka,
Go find silver and gold for sale far,
This sea called Nahal,
Boat of the people have gone through.
Now this sea was full of coral with the color of bamboo, he again picked up a bunch of gems and put on board.
After passing through the Nalamala Sea, traders come to a sea called Valabhukukha. Here the water recedes and rises on one side, and thus the water withdraws on all sides and rises on the vertical cliffs leaving a region like a deep hole. A wave of waves rising to one side, like a wall: ear heard a terrible roar, probably piercing the ear membrane or burst the heart. When they saw this scene, the traders panicked and asked the sea names by rhyme:
11. Hear the screaming horror,
From the sea is so unusual!
Pit,
Look at the waves rising up the steep flanks of the ribs,
Sup-pà, tell your friends,
What is the name of the ocean?
Bodhisattva replied through rhyming verse:
12. Hey traders Origin Bhar-ka,
my search for the distance selling of gold and silver,
Va-la-BHA this ocean, the
boats of people who communicate through.
He said,
"My friends, once the boat enters the Valabhachukhi beach, it is impossible to return. If this boat enters it, it will sink and crumble.
Now there are seven hundred men on this boat, they are afraid of death; So they uttered an utterly solemn cry, just like the cry of those who were burned in the ultimate hell of hell. The Majestician thought to himself, "Except for me, no one can save their lives. I resolved them with a vow of truth. "
Then, he said loudly , "Bring me a bath of fragrant water, dress my new clothes, prepare a cup of water and take me to the boat.
They all rushed to do so. The Master holds the cup full with both hands, and stands in front of the boat, making a prayer for the truth while reciting the last stanza:
13. From the moment we remember the body,
the first wisdom arises. Slowly,
No one is killing me,
It is the thing I know well,
If this prayer is true,
Wish the boat about the place of safety.
In the past four months, the boat that had been traveling in these remote waters seemed to have been given divine power, and within a day it returned to Bharukaccha, Go on land until you stop in front of the captain's house, after jumping over a thousand cubit = 45cm.
The monk distributed to the merchants all pearls, corals, diamonds, and said, "This is enough for you, so do not go by sea.
Then he preached the Dharma to them and, by the time he had finished his charitable work and good deeds for the rest of his life, he went to live with the congregation in Heaven.

After the end of this Dharma talk, the Master said,
"O bhikkhus, the ancient Tathagata is as wise as it is now.
Then he identified the precursor:

6. The merchants of Bhar-ka,
seeking silver for a long distance,
this sea of Da-dhi
;
