Mahabodhi Temple in Bodh Gaya.
The architectural complex Mahabodhi Temple is the important Buddhist relic located in the Bodh Gaya - one of the four places related to the life of the Buddha .
The Great Stupa is located in the middle of the lower part of the road about ten meters from the surface, so from the distance, we can still see the tower standing up in the middle of ancient trees, symbolizing the enlightenment of the Buddha in the world. The lotus flower grows out of the mud. This tower was built by King A-duc about 250 years after the Buddha entered Nirvana in order to commemorate the coming of the Buddha.

It is said that, around 530, Siddhartha Gautama, the young king of India, saw the suffering of the people and the Four ended them. He went around to find a way to save. Upon arriving at the banks of the Falgu River (near Gaya Township), he meditates under the Bodhi Tree, requesting his desire. After 3 days and 3 nights, he understood and attained enlightenment. Mahabodhi Temple was built to mark this place.
The special feature of the Mahabodhi temple complex is a Bodhi tree that is more than 130 years old. This is the descendant of the first Bodhi tree the Buddha had enlightened. This bodhi tree was brought from Sri Lanka by the daughter of Ashoka. Under the tree there is a piece of sandstone called "VaJirasana 'that is where the Buddha once sat. Estimated today there are nearly 1,000 pilgrims from all over the country, country and territory come to visit, practice, chanting, sitting meditation around this Bodhi Tree.

The Mahabodhi Temple is prominent in the Mahabodhi Temple's 55-meter pyramid and is surrounded by four small towers with the same structure as the Spire Tower, above the relics of the Buddha, while the lower part is the main hall. Called Mahabodhi Tower. It is located east of the Bodhi Tree. The wall of the tower was built of green brick mixed with lime and niches to worship the golden Buddha statues. Columns, doors, and windows are decorated with gold and silver mixed with nacre and precious stones.
