Find old signs.
"This is Silao Fork", Ghosananda said,
- The name "Silao" taken from "Silabhadra" ( About Hien ) his name collegian old Nalanda Institute and also the  dear professor  of him  Xuanzang . Formerly ,  the Buddha  often stopped here to  preach  to the people, on the way to  Rajgir  to Nalanda. At that time there was a  pagan . Teacher named Suppiya, seeing  the Buddha  by many  respectful offerings should disparage,  defame . On the contrary , the pupil Brahmadatta  praises , praising  virtue  strictly net  of  Buddha .When they  heard the  slander , some monks were angry, and on the  contrary  they were  happy  to hear the  blessings ofthe Buddha . Knowing this,  the Buddha  advised: "O bhikkhus, if you meet this way of  defamation ,  Tathagatas , defamation of the Dharma  and  monks , you should not be hurriedly angry or  evil  . They themselves have met enough users to praise the Buddha, the Dharma and the  Sangha ,
It's nine o'clock but it's still  cool . Water of heaven, trees, grass flowing a beautiful color mellow. Distant  mountains  Rajgir hidden  behind  the mist  of silver as  witness  the union of people towards  belief . Along the way   we sometimes  had to get off the bus and help the horse  cross  the road. From Nalandà to  Wang Xa is  only 13 km, but  it  takes us two hours to get there.
History  of  Rajgir
Rajagaha  (Indian is rajagriha) is the oldest city in India. According to Ramayana, this city was created by Vasuati and named Vasumati. To the Buddha's life  , it was called Vuong, because so many palaces were  built  here. Raja means King Griha means Xa, collectively called  Rajgir . It  is famous  throughout India because it is the capital city of Ma-momentum.According to Buddhaghosa ( Buddhaghosa ) of which up to 32  doors  and 64 door side. After Ajatasatru built Pātaliputra on the  banks of the Ganges  (there are also some  monuments  in Patna, the capital of Bihar), the  Rajasthan  lost  its important status.
The Buddha went to  Rajagaha  several times. Before Enlightenment,  the Buddha  came to  beg  around the  city. Known as  the Prince  of the  Shakyamuni , King Bimbisara invites him to give up  his  religious life  to rule a part of Maitreya. He refused but promised after the  enlightened  will  return to the  teacher , as  requested  by the King. The Buddha is often in many places in this city. His favorite spot is the Mountain Spirit-Thuu (Gridharakuta) He also often at  Truc Lam Vihara(Veluvana).
After sending  luggage  in Burmese pagoda  we  turn  to visit the  relics  of the following:
1.  Truc Lam  (Veluvana).
2. Leaf House (Pippalaguha).
3. The place where  the first canon  was assembled, Saptaparni cave.
4. Hot springs.
5. Gridharakuta.

1.  Trúc Lâm monastery
First of all  we came  to Truc-Lam, a large  vihara  near Wang-Xa, which was dedicated to the Buddha and the Sangha by King Qin-she-la  . It is not sure yet where  Trúc Lâm is  located. Previously, this area was a wilderness area. After researching many  documents , the Government of India has fenced a large area of land near the Japanese temple and this place is considered  Truc Lam Vihara . In this garden, the trees are upright, the flowers are green, and there are many old bamboo groves on the inside. Perhaps that is why it is called  Truc Lam Vihara . A small lake, blue water,  leaning against the trees, is considered Lake Kalandaka, where the Buddha usually bath. Xuanzang  mentioned this lake in his memoirs. On the lake there is a  statue of Buddha  standing in a square empty tower, set up by the Indian government to celebrate. Mr.  Tsang  also  said  , adding that  the Truc Lam monastery  door way into the  North of  a mile. Many bamboo groves grow throughout the area,  the Buddha  spent months at  this monastery . Here are a few  sutras  are  the Buddhist theory  here: Mahakassapa, Mahamoggallana and Mahacun-dabhojihangasutta. It was Mr. Mu-in- so -  so  before  the monastery  after the  assassination of the pagans  ,
After  the Buddha  and walking around the lake,  we  all came to the resort under a tree. It was noon but  we did  not want to return  because we did not want to leave  the  pure and many  of  these virtues .

2. Pippalaguha Stone House
With water and rest,  we  continue  the program  at 2:30. We  went straight  to the  stone house. Saying that the house is, in fact, just a wall around it with a banister. Perhaps the former is only a guard house, but after the master  of meditation should  become  a  relic . Below the floor is the Pippala Cave, which  the  Pali Canon says. This cave is located in the east of Vaibhra Hill. The cave has lost its natural beauty   because of the rock around it, four feet high, 26 feet long. Legend has it that Ca lettuce is  in this cave and one day he was seriously hurt by  the Buddha who  came here to  lecture on the  Bodhi Tree. After hearing  his teachings  he healed. We  stay here for a few minutes to admire the panoramic view of  Rajgir  and then  continue climbing up dykes Saptaparni action, where 500 Arhat  aggregation classics  first.

The place where  the classics
The road to the high Saptaparni cave is high, high and  farther  up the Huyen Khong cave   ( Ngu Hanh  Son, Da Nang). We  rested our feet and drank twice to gain strength; But Ghosananda still has to stay at a Hindu temple. It was late afternoon. Some gibbons sit on the roof of the lamp looking at the scene before the night falls. A large white feather jumped down and threatened  us , who came to stir them.
At present, Saptaparni caves are not known exactly where. Because there are two theories are considered reasonable: John Marshall considered a  farther  north; There  is  a ruined stone house. This place is far away and there is no way to go. Mr. Aurel Stain for the four external action towards Vaibhara hill, from temple  Win commentator  goes down . Both arefamous archaeologists . Uncle Institute ancient theory was later  admitted . We  just came back. This is a wide range, consisting of  four small caves, not very deep,  bumpy road  and dark. Each cave holds 40 people, but there is a rocky outcrop on the outside. So,
When we  return ,  we do  not forget to visit the Temple of  Thang Thao . There is a temple erected on top of Saptaparni. Some of the other temples were built adjacent to the former temple   with stone statues still attached to the wall, but were crushed in the nose, ears, and hands. It is  painful , sad for   this deserted holy place  . We  do not understand why people could  heartless  second  Buddhism , a religion rich in  kindness and  compassion.

4. Hot springs
We  hurried  back  because it was almost dark, but because  we were  so tired ,  we  stopped at the hot spring for a good bath. The Buddha  spoke many  times about this stream during the  sermon . Maybe  sometimes  the Buddha also has a bath in this stream. Formerly  a temple called Tapodàràma near this stream. Nowhere is it found that it is full of Hinduism, which is set on the faucets and the bath. Hot water from the mountain has just been converted into a number of tap water to  provide  many bathing pools. On each tap is a Hindu statue. A pretty hot lake for bathers to soak for a longer time. Many people with skin diseases or low numbness to bath to heal. In the winter the  people come to bathe a lot. I am tired of bathing, I feel well. To build  a  Hindu temple on this fountain, someone who  uses  nature  to  seduce the  unbelievers  .
On our way back to Burma,  we were  about to visit Japanese temples   for a while. But then, happy,  we  stay here one night. The temple is in a very  quiet place . Drums  elaborate  harmony with voices  chanting  deep scholarship of master Japanese  do  revive  inside  us  pictures ,  sounds  of the  elaborately  tomorrow afternoon in the country. Venerable  Abbot welcomed  us  an  affable . There are only two teachers here. They belong to Nhut Lien. Their regular recitation   is the phrase "Namo  Dieu Phap Hoa  Kinh". To commemorate where  Buddha  was  economic theory Saddharmapundarika , they do Temple here. Two  monks practice  austerely. The two arms of each have a large fire sign to  offer the Lotus Sutra .After   visiting stories ,  we went  to the main hall of  the Buddha . Here from  the Buddha statue to the decoration, something like  Vietnam . Especially the flower vases, double poetry flowers mixed with forest flowers   in hibiscus leaves, But how art! We  thought perhaps all of Japan 's flower  arrangement art  was  completely  in those vases.
After the Buddha was finished,  we  all rested on the stone benches next to the temple. Here,  we  meet an   Indian familyfrom Calcutta to visit the scene. In the  story ,  we  can ask the chief  believed  religion  does. He  answered that he  was Hindu. Then he said that  Buddhism  and Hinduism are no different. Indeed most Indians  believe  the Buddha as the  ninthembodiment  of Shiva. The  Taoist  Hindus often said so. Many Hindu worshipers have worshiped the  statue of the Buddha as much as the shiny power in our country. It was a "fight" to satisfy  the demands of the Indians to love  the Buddha . This incident, in part, caused  the decline of Buddhism  in India   and the slow recovery . But because learning  andunderstanding  the greatness of the Buddha , who was chief kindly  to his three children read three sentences refuge  in Pali and promised to teach polite Buddha  for them. In part, the decline in Buddhism in India has slowed and revived  slowly. But because learning and understanding the greatness of the Buddha , who was chief kindly to his three children read three sentences refuge in Pali and promised to teach polite  Buddha for them. In part, the decline in Buddhism in  India hasslowed and  revived slowly . But because  learning and  understanding the greatness of  the Buddha , who was chief  kindlyto his three children read three sentences  refuge in Pali and promised to teach  polite Buddha for them.
Since we are too tired to go on the road and climb,  we  take a break earlier than usual. In the morning  we  hit the road  to go Vulture at 5 o'clock 30.  Time  reunion was short. But the  farewell  of guests and all very  charming , warm. Thanks to the horse-drawn carriage,  we  had enough  time  to ask and listen to the  following accomplishments  :
  1. Pagoda  Japan  of 500 meters, where the line for the two contiguous peaks near where  the Buddha  restaurant elephant of King Ajatashatru released to harm the Buddha.
  2. Another 300 meters, there is a long, rocky bed at the foot of the mountain to the right. That is the  monastery  of His  Nagarjuna  (Nagarjuna), a professor at the  University of  Nalanda old and also a  commentator  famous  for spreading the declaration was not religious  doctrine  North religion.
  3. Further  , there is a   two-meter old stone picture . This place is considered to be the place of A-bar-king, because wanting to be king soon detained his father, Tan-Madeleine,  to  death. While  imprisoned  at the prison, King Tan-Baal always saw  the Buddha  walking back and forth on Mount Vongola. Thanks to that the king was less suffering . People have dug an iron ring to bind prisoners here. It is therefore possible to believe that this is the Tan-Magdalene jail.
  4. Near Spirit Mountain Soul, not far from walls, has a background  Vihara  vast. It was  his residence  of a doctor famous  named Jivaka had  taken refuge  with the Buddha and pray  for a lifetime  treatment for  the Church  at the Buddha  in the world .

5. Spirit Mountain (Gridhrakùta)
The carriage stops right in front of the road to Mount  Linh Son . This is the most important place in the  relic  in the  Rajgir .The Buddha resides here. Much  of the  North class as  the Lotus Sutra  was  the Buddha  in this place. Qin king-she-ta-la has built a three  -level with  stone to the top of the hill. Take a stop to a sign saying: "This place King Qin grandmother came down palanquin, when the king  saw  the Buddha." Climbing up to a dozen levels, there is a sign that says, "This place King Qin-mandala told the servants to stay for the   king alone to  hear  the Buddha." Through a rocky slit, Near the foot of the high rock is the place where Grandma-to-rock buckets injured the Buddha   in the foot. Go up again, then around the cave of the A-nan to the Buddhist temple in. The temple is now ruined at the top of the hill. Previously the hills were covered by vegetation, now demolished, and the Indian government had repaired the road so it reached the top easily. The temple has only three small square-shaped walls in which there is a small pedestal where the old  Buddha  lay, the weeds growing on the ground, but the surroundings are  very clean. It is now demolished, and the Indian government has repaired the road so it can reach the top easily. The temple has only three small square-shaped walls in which there is a small pedestal where the old Buddha lay, the weeds growing on the ground, but the surroundings are very clean. It is now demolished, and the Indian government has repaired the road so it can reach the top easily. The temple has only three small square-shaped walls in which there is a small pedestal where the old Buddha lay, the weeds growing on the ground, but the  surroundings are very clean.
We  light  incense burners ,  bow  and  chanting  here. We  commemorate the Great Dang Dang, one of the Vietnamesemonks  who  went to  India  in the 7th century, who died of illness in  Song Lam  and  Venerable  Hue Quang , Vice-President of the General  Buddhist Association of Vietnam , has  passed away  on Buddhist land while at  the conference Buddhist  world  for the fourth time, and  pray  for  Buddhist  country was flourishing. Three months, Although there is chanting  in Pali, but overall today was peace in the  recitation  follow  rituals  homeland,  our  joy  and  touched  the ineffable. The voices resounded in the hills. The scent of the wind soon. Glistening  glaucoma  as if to harmonize with the sun's rays just up the mountain. All make a scene just solemn and  just mysterious !. Glistening glaucoma as if to harmonize with the sun's rays just up the mountain. All make a scene just solemn and just mysterious !. Glistening glaucoma as if to harmonize with the sun's rays just up the mountain. All make a scene just  solemn and just mysterious !.
When  chanting  the  Nam Kem  Lin Son Hoi Bodhisattva Buddha  , a cold stream emanating from the top of the head and then spreading all over the body makes  us  relaxed slightly. Next came tears of tears that did not stop. Now recall the new realized  is  then  suddenly a  feeling of  joy  filled  hearts  because finding itself as  listening to the French  in the  Assembly Components  paint, but the unhappy sad to come because not see the Buddha and the position  of St. Gentle here  again.
The Buddha  finished  our  return and sit on a large rock overlooking the surrounding landscape. The more you look back to all the  spiritual  practice,  the birth  of the Buddha. And  we  understand  why the Buddha look this place as a place of permanent residence:  circumstances  and terrain is not all, the part can make the heart  man  becomes one way or another. There is a new height to see, it is beyond what  is inferior , in  the grandiose  grandiose emerged the  idea  of super high  magical . The Buddha revealed the same message as some of the other scenes in the royal city  . " It's fun to be in Rajagaha !. Fun to change the Mountain Spirit! Truc Lam beautiful! Beautiful Saptaparni! Etc ... ".
We have to  return to  the bus to Bodh Gaya, so  we  from the Counterfeit Spirit in  attachment ,  attachment  at 8 o'clock.
On the way back,  we  said to the  Venerable  Ming Zhou : "If  Buddhism  we  do not  build  on Vulture a temple is not smart to be  pagan  to build a house on it. Moreover,  the landscape  in which no established A  monastery  is too crowded! "
Venerable  Minh Chau  said : "Before Venerable Kashyap had  the intention  was not yet  implemented  it.  The reason for the first is the  Rajgir  not many  monks  and  Buddhist  natives. But foreigners are not  enough strength , further share many countries have built the temple in Buddhagaya, Vulture too far from the village so no one has enough  courage  in always on it. Previously a Chinese monk  meditation  in crowded Ananda more a month, after being  thieves  pillaged should he not stay anymore. I and some Nalanda teachers sometimes  take  meditation  and sleep on it! "

The memoir of  Phap Hien
It is in this place that the relics of Phat  and  Moggallana  for the first time recognize the  dharmas , also the place where Ni-daaden dig a hole full of fire and offer poisonous food to  the Buddha . And also the place where the drunken elephant of A-barrio ran to harm  the Buddha  and the Buddha  dress .
At the northeast corner of  Wang Xa,  there is a temple where Jivaka hosts  the Buddha  and 1,250 monks come to pay tribute . That temple still exists. The city is  completely  deserted, uninhabited. Go into the valley and get  to  the mountain range 15 miles southeast of  us  to Mount Vong Lou. Three feet from the top of the mountain, there is a rock pedestal, between large rocks. That is the place where Ananda  meditates  , facing south. About 30 steps to the northeast there is a cave where Ananda  meditates  . At that time there was a Pisuna demon in  the heavens ,  transformed  into a bird, standing in front of a cave and threatening Ananda. The Buddha used the power of  open  stone expansion , holding Ananda and make him  panic Aan . The head of the bird and the hole that  Buddha  hands over the hand of Ananda is still there. Therefore, the mountain is called the hill of the cave. Before this cave is the residence of the four  Buddhas . The Arahants each have the same cave when they sit meditating  . The number is up to 700. Before this cave is the residence of the four Buddhas . The Arahants each have the same cave when they sit meditating . The number is up to 700. Before this cave is the residence of the four Buddhas . The Arahants each have the same cave when they  sit meditating . The number is up to 700.
When  Buddha  was walking from the east to the stone front, Devadatta, on the northern cliff, rolled down a stone andwounded the Buddha's  foot  , the stone is still. The room of  the Buddha preached business  has been ruined, leaving only the brick wall. This hill is  elevated and  sanctified because it is higher than all the five surrounding hills  .
He  Faxian  after buying  the fragrance  and oil lamps in the new city hired two people taken to the caves and mountains Vulture. After  offering incense  and flowers  lamp  natural  light to. France Show  touching  and sad to tears and said: "Before  the Buddha  at this place. The place Buddha was  teaching experience  Prime Surangama .  France Show  I do not get themselves to Buddhism while living, now only to find traces the  life  of Buddha. However, self see also something for every  reader of  the Mausoleum  before this cave and stayed there for one night ... "

The record of  Xuanzang
Srigupta worshiped paganism  and adored the  cult . To the north-east of Srigupta's fire pit and to the arc of the city is a tower. It is in this place that Jivaka, the renowned physician  , has set up a lecture theater  dedicated to the Buddha .Around  there are flowers and some tea trees. Traces of wall backgrounds and rotting roots  are still visible. Buddha when he was in the world  often stop here. Near the lecture hall  , Jivaka's house was dilapidated and an old well was still in place. The famous physician , set up a lecture theater to the Buddha . Around there are flowers and some tea trees. Traces of wall backgrounds and rotting roots  are still visible.Buddha when he was  in the world often stop here. Near the  lecture hall , Jivaka's house was dilapidated and an old well was still in place.
The north-west  ruler  of 14th, 15 miles is the Linh Lo Mountain, on the southern slope of the mountain to the north, with a very high mountain, birds nesting here. The top of this mountain is  shaped  like a gazebo, the blue of the sky  reflecting down the mountain to create a fresh and harmonious scene.
In about  50 years  propagate Dharma  Tathagata  often at this mountain and take  teaching experience  classic  profound magic . King Tan-mandala, for wanting to  hear the dharma , often went up the mountain with some of his  followers .These people  flattened  the valleys, bridges to waterfalls and erected rocks of 10 steps wide and 5 to 6 miles long. The middle of the road  has two small towers, one called "off" because when the king came to this place, walk up the mountain; The other "told his  entourage  back and forth", because the king separated his  entourage , not let them follow. The mountain is long from east to west and narrow from north to south. There is a brick temple, On one side is a very deep valley to the west of the mountain. The temple door is facing east. Nowadays, the Tathagata  often stops and  lectures .The temple is high and very beautiful. There is also a  statue of Buddha  Himself is  teaching his  great  image of  truth.
East of the temple is a long stone,  Buddha  often  go  on business to heal. Next to it is a very large rock of 15.15 feet and 30 feet in diameter. It is the place where the multi-bucket hurts the Buddha.
To the south of the abyss is a tower. When the  Tathagata  was  in the world , his  economic theory  Saddharma-Pundarika (Saddharmapundarika Beijing ). Also the year in which the temple on the mountainside with a stone house: the main site Tathagata often  meditative . In front of  the stone house to the northwest there is a very large stone form of strange shape. A Nan  monk was threatened by evil spirits here. Next to the temple there are other stone houses, that is where Sariputta  and the great Arahants  entered .
In the north-east of the temple, in the middle of the stream flowing in the rock, a large rock emerges. That is where  the Tathagata  exposed Caesar  shirt . Nearby on a rock with  Buddha footprints  . Wheel sticking out has been  overshadowed, as still received. At the top of  the mountains  there is a tower. From where  the Tathagata  saw Ma-master-momentum; He has been  preaching  for seven consecutive days here. To the west, at the northern gate is a mountain called Vipulagiri.Under  continuous transmission  of the villagers, the north side of the crevasse southwest formerly 500 hot springs. Now there are only 10 streams, some warm springs, some cold springs, but no hot springs. At the mouth of the hot springs, there are lion- shaped stones , or white elephant head. Many places have water pipes, water flows in the water pipes upwards, the bottom is the lake of stone, the water flows into the pool. People often go to bathe in those lakes. Those who have the disease, after the bath can heal. On either side of the springs, there are many towers or ruins, not  far apart  . In those places, four  past Buddhas  come to  meditate  or  walk , and leave  traces . These locations are surrounded by mountains , and full of broths, so  intellectuals  come in,
To the west the hot springs are the Pipala Stone House. On top of Vipula there is a tower. This is the place where ancient Buddha  taught  the Dharma . Nigranthas are often crowded there. They  ascetic  day and night non-stop, from morning to evening, they  walked  around the towers,  admire  very  respectful .
The left side of the north, go east, north of the southern mountain region of 2, 3 miles,  we  came a large stone, is where ancient  Devadatta  meditation .
From the northern gate a mile,  we went  to Karandaveluvana Temple. Here, there is only a stone floor and brick wall of the ancient temple.
The east of Karandaveluvana Temple has a tower. The tower was set up by King A-bar. After the  Tathagata  entered Nirvana , kings  divide the  relics . King A-bar-deity brought his part and  built the  tower to  offer  worship . When  King Asoka  became a  Buddhist , he opened the tower and took the  relics  and set up another tower himself. This tower always shines with great  magic . On one side of the A-bar-tower there is another tower half of the  relics  of Ananda.
Southwest Truc forestry  Vihara  of 5, 6 miles north of the mountain to the south there is a  bamboo forest . In that  forest  , there is a huge stone house. Here,  Venerable  Kassapa  with 499 Arhat position, after the Buddha  's Nirvana  has convened  a  meeting  to  aggregation  Tripitaka .
Northwest seat  Venerable  Kassapa  convene the  Conference  with a tower. That is where faith Ananda, after the Venerable  others not to attend  the conference  to sit  alone  silent  meditation  and  attained  Arhat. He was then invited to the conference .
From there to the west 20 miles, there is a tower built by  King Asa  . That's where  the  Sangha  meets to  compile the scriptures . In the north of  Truc Lam  , we walked 200 steps   to Karanda Lake. To the north-west of the lake, about 2, 3 miles, there is a tower  set up by King Asa  . The tower is 60 feet high and the top is shaped like an elephant.
Going to the north-east of the stone pillar, not far away,  we came  to the  royal palace . The outer city was  destroyed without any  trace . The inner city,  though  ruined, still has higher elevations than the flatland and is about 20 miles in circumference.
Legend of King Ajatashatru  first  made in  this, and the king  's successor  as  the throne , he is also considered the capital, forever  until  death  Ashoka . This king moved the capital to Pataliputra and delivery of  Rajgir  to every Brahmin. Because of the siege of  the Raju  no longer see people live, only the brahmins  estimated  1000  families  ... "

His memoir  Fa Hien  and Mr.  Tsang  described very  clearly  the  achievements  left in the  Rajgir . Uncle neck and base current  also relied on two memoir on to find the place has been described meticulously so. It is only regret that there are no longer all the stupas that  Xuanzang  has told. It is therefore difficult to  find  all of the  achievements  described in their memoirs. END=NAM MO SHAKYAMOUNI BUDDHA.( 3 TIMES ).VIETNAMESE TRANSLATE ENGLISH BY=THICH CHAN TANH.THE MIND OF ENLIGHTENMENT.VIETNAMESE BUDDHIST NUN=GOLDEN LOTUS MONASTERY=AUSTRALIA,SYDNEY.23/7/2017.
