5- The 10th in the Rakkhita forest (-580 years )

Buddha resides alone in the forest Rakkhita [1]

Ghosita, where there is a dispute between the two groups of monks and lawyers, left the Buddha alone in the forest of Rakkhita, in the village of Parileyyaka and settled here. The forest is very quiet, fresh trees, hills, streams with lakes. Living alone, the Buddha finds himself very comfortable and pleasant in his leisure. The Buddha usually sit under the large sala tree next to the stream. This place often has a royal elephant leading a large and small elephants to the streams to drink and bathe, and also a monkeys often come to the playground jumping on the branches and on the rocks by the stream.Elephant herds and monkeys come to know the Buddha. To be caring and teaching the Buddha, they are even more fond of, bringing fruit to the Buddha. Once the Buddha imitation of the voice of the elephant god scream, both small elephants are running to lie in front of the Buddha.
After the retreat, the Buddha renounced elephants, monkeys and beautiful forests. He went north.Half a month later he went to the Jetavana monastery in the capital Sravasti.

The Buddha taught the correct Dharma [2]

The Buddha returned to  Jetavana . The great disciples were present to greet and welcome the Buddha to his funeral. The great virtues of Sariputta, Moggallana, Mahakassapa, MahaKaccana, Upali, Mahakotthiya, Mahakappina, Mahakunda, Revata and Devadatta are all present. The great virtues of Anuruddha, Kimbila and Nandiya from Dongsan Park have also arrived. She Gotami and Rahula are also present.
Ananda Ananda is cleaning the stupas of the Buddha, see the Buddha to come, teacher happy to broom, step to pay homage to Buddha. Buddha asked:
Hey Ananda, after Tathagata gone, what is the situation at Ghosita detector?
The Blessed One, after the Blessed One went away, some fraternity came to find his son and said, "Brother, the Blessed One has gone away, he went alone. Sun to care for him. If two brothers do not go then we go. Son replied, "If the Blessed One go without letting anyone know that he wants to go alone, we should not bother him." After about six months, some friars came and said to my son, "Brother, we have not heard from the monk for a long time now, not to hear the teachings directly from the guru's mouth. Go find him ". We went to find the Blessed One but did not meet. No one knows where the Sun is. Finally we find Sravasti to inform the great brothers. We think that the Buddha is also here.
When you leave Kosambi, do the mendicants quarrel much?
Well  , at that time, the situation was very tense, more than when the Exalted yet. Without the presence of the Blessed One, the two sides no longer cautious, the more violent quarrel. The air is suffocating. Each time we enter the city begging, we were asked about the dispute by laypeople. We say "There are many mendicants standing outside the dispute, please know for that." That is the only thing we can do. Gradually the layperson begins to react. They went to the monastery to tell the mendicants in the dispute, "The teacher did not listen to the Buddha's teachings, so that the Buddha should be sad to leave, the teacher has a great responsibility. To ask for repentance ". At first, the teachers did not pay attention to the warning of the laymen. But then sex at the helm decides not to offer to those present in the dispute. Lord Buddha, lay people in Kosambi seem very resolute. On leaving Kosambi, I heard that the two parties had set the date for each other to reach reconciliation. I think they will reconcile and sooner or later they also find here to ask for repentance with the Buddha.
The Buddha turned to the chief disciples said:
Teacher, we must find a way to get rid of such nonsensical arguments in the center of learning from now on.
A few days later, the great saint Sariputta was informed that the Kosambi teachers were coming to Sravasti. They crowded into hundreds of people, still in the street. Venerable Buddha to submit:
Lord, I heard that the brothers in Kosambi have come to the city, maybe soon they will go to the police station. Lord, how should we treat these brothers?
Then the master was always treated in accordance with the Dhamma.
- Well  , what exactly is Dharma? Please teach the Buddha.
Sariputta, are you asking such a question?
Venerable Sariputta was silent. At that time, Moggallana, Mahakassapa, Kaccana, Kotthiya, Kappina and Anuruddha arrived at the Buddha's retreat. The teachers asked:
The Blessed One, the brothers in Kosambi are coming. How do we treat these brothers and sisters?
Then the master was always treated in accordance with the Dhamma.
The teachers looked at the great Sariputta. The virtue just smiled. The Buddha looked at the great disciples, and said gently:
Teachers should not be biased towards anyone, to any one. Teachers should calmly listen to both sides. Seeing what is right with the Dhamma should be encouraged. Seeing what is not right with the Dhamma should find ways to explain its harm and advise it to be modified. The thoughts, words, actions in accordance with the Dharma always bring peace, calm, liberation. Thoughts, words, actions due to greed, hatred, delusion, doubt, evil ants, prejudices ... incitement, often bring discord, controversy, sadness, anger, are things Not true to the Dharma, should be shunned, eliminated. It is important to be clever to say to each side of their wrong view to reconcile.
At that time, the great benefactors of the monastery along with the layman Sudatta Anathapindika also arrived. Mr. Sudatta asked:
The Blessed One, Kosambi mendicants coming. How do we treat them? Should we donate or not donate? If offerings, which party should be offered?
You should offer both sides. And should show support and praise whenever someone speaks what is right with the Dharma.
At that moment, the great Venerable Ananda came in and told the teachers in Kosambi that they had come to the gates, but did not dare to enter. Venerable Sariputta says:
Lord, should you open the door for them?
Should open the door for them.
Then how do you deal with their whereabouts?
You should arrange for the two sides to separate sides.
Under the orders of the great virtue Sariputta, the patrons opened the door welcomes the mendicants from Kosambi to. They are allocated accommodation and facilities equally as everyone.Everything is going in silence.
In the morning of the following day, all the newcomers were divided into groups by the Venerable Sariputta and assigned to beg for alms in different localities so that the two opposing factions met. In the afternoon, the monks asked for the great virtue Sariputta arranged for them to be repentance ceremony with Buddha. Dai Duc said:
In my opinion, penance with Buddha is not a prerequisite. The most important thing is that the fraternities should settle with each other for reconciliation. When the brothers have reconciled to each other then the feast of penance is new and meaningful. I suggest that the two fraternities should have a conciliatory session with each other first. It should be considered among the mendicant in the congregation and the study to achieve liberation is critical. As for the other small things, the fraternity should be happy to let the mind be calm and calm, easy for the practice of meditation.
That evening, the chief scribe in the dispute reached the lawyer or obstinate. He bowed hands bowed and knelt down action:
Venerable Sir, I recognized that I was breaking the world, and the virtues of the great guilty last summer to be lawful. I sincerely repent before the mass to return to the status of pure net.
The master did so because he saw no other way out. I am willing to sacrifice myself to bring peace to the congregation. Knowing that, the lawyer reacted quickly. He kneeled down before the monk and said,
I also repent with great virtue I have lack of humility and ingenuity in this case. May the merits of compassion prove my sincere heart.
Soon after that the great Sariputta summoned the mass to the lecture hall, then the great Venerable Buddha to prove the feast of penitence. Two great virtues of lawyers and lawyers co-stepped out Buddha worship and repentance before the mass. Buddha said:
Two teachers, today both teachers recognize their own mistakes, co-doing masses of repentance before the Tathagata and the masses, is a very good thing. As Lai joy to prove to the two teachers are restored to the net body. It is a good experience for the monks, the monks and nuns, to try to avoid such an unfortunate event.
Everyone sighed, lightly, especially the Kosambi mendicants, many of whom had never been involved in a dispute. However, it may take a while for the wound to heal.

Saptadhikarana-samatha [3]

At the suggestion of Mahakassapa Venerable, a meeting was held at the Jetavana Auditorium. The purpose of the meeting was to draw experience and set out the principles that prevent possible conflicts in the congregation. Venerable Mahakassapa presided over the meeting.
Opening the conference, Venerable Anuruddha Mahakassapa request he recited the legislation Luc Hoa by the Buddha taught in the park coaxial. That is the six principles of harmonious coexistence of the mendicant. Moggallana was very happy after hearing this legislation. Teacher suggested:
- These  six principles of harmonious coexistence need to be learned by heart for dissemination to other centers of study.
After a long discussion, the teacher has established seven methods to quell disputes, called Seven Kill Avoid France  (Saptadhikarana-samatha), as follows:
1. Show Tien Ty Ni  (sammukha-vinaya): All these statements about the dispute must be said before Mass, in the presence of the two parties to the dispute.
2 - Sati  -vinaya: In the presence of both sides of the dispute, the parties must relive what has happened and sequentially present all the things. That's your memory, with all the details, and if you can, give the proof. The masses must be silent on both sides to obtain sufficiently accurate and impartial information.
-Amitha-vinaya: Both sides must be willing to reconcile, should not have stubborn attitude. In cases where the litigants state that the reason is because they are ignorant or because of accidental violations of the law, the masses have to rely on that thesis to both parties are pleased.
4. Self Language Ty Ni  (tatsvabhaisya-vinaya): The two parties should have admitted error goodwill alone to mediation be made easily.
5- After  pratijnakaraka-vinaya heard all the reports and witnessed the goodwill of the two parties, the masses will vote by majority.
6- to the land of Ty Ni  (yadbhuyasikiya-vinaya): Order ultimate crime minister and how repentance is given to the mass determined by methods  platinum quartet listed drug  (jnapticaturbin-karmavacana), ie reading Judgment up and read three times. If after three reads all are silent, no one voices the objection, the order is valid. Of course, the parties have no right to protest, since they have vowed to rely on public verdicts from the beginning.
7. Earth Thao Phu Pi Ni  (tranastaraka-vinaya): In the mediation meeting, the two elders virtuous designated to sponsor the two parties to the dispute. These people are often revered and obeyed by the masses. They often sit very attentive listening, very few say, but every say is very influential. The voices of these elders sought to heal wounds, call for goodwill to be reconciled and forgiven, and covered straws on muddy ground so people could step up from their feet.
Seven methods of extinguishing the dispute were brought to the Buddha by the great disciples. The Buddha happily accepted, praised the teachers and agreed to put Out of the Dhammapada to the precepts.
He remained in Jetavana for six months, then returned to Rajagriha.

Mrs. Janapada-Kalyani [4]

Princess Janapada-Kalyani is a very beautiful woman and very proud of her beauty. But just recently married, Prince Nanda's husband is leaving home. The other princesses named for her are Rupa-Nanda (Nanda Beauty). She was very upset, but finally found that the Buddha and Nanda left the throne to go out, then to Rahula, Queen Maha Pajapati and 500 princess Sakya and Koliya were also ordained, Bhiksuni.
After the ordination, she heard the Buddha preaching beauty is impermanent, is not self, is the source of suffering as well as 4 other warmth is feeling, perception, action and awakening. She disagreed. She thought that our beauty is all about looking, admiring and admitting that the source of suffering is not reasonable at all! Ể Moreover, she still blames the Buddha for having arrested her newlywed husband, Nanda, so she always avoided meeting the Buddha.
One day the female mendicants in her group looked forward to Jetavana hear the sermon. She was forced to follow but sit in the back for the Buddha did not see. The Buddha wanted Janapada-Kalyani should, while the sermon used her divine powers to show her a beautiful 16 year-old celestial maid dressed and ornamented, more beautiful than her grandma, the beauty of the goddess slowly changed From the age of 16 to the age of 30, 40 years old, 50 years old, 60 years old, then on the wrinkles, cheeks, hair thinning, back handcuffs, limbs trembling, sickle, moaning, die hard, body Mrs. Rupa-Nanda saw the old age of the celestial beings thinking about her body and here it is. She felt bored, disgusted her body, no longer proud about its beauty anymore. Suddenly heard the Buddha said shelves:
Hey Rupa-Nanda,
Body of bone, blood,
Illness and stinky,
What's so beautiful?
What's worth praising?
Know this body is impermanent
Know this body is not clean
Leave without regret
Live a good life.
After listening, Janapada-Kalyani immediately attained momentum-complete. Stopped a moment, Lord Buddha continued:
Hey Rupa-Nanda,
This body is not real,
Is the city erected
Meat, veins, blood, pus,
And three hundred bones,
Contains old disease.
Supercilious h ã nh and frustration. (Dhammapada, Lesson 150)
Janapada-Kalyani attained Arahantship.

Svastica herd of buffaloes [5]

Before returning to Rajagriha, Buddha visited the village of Uruvela to visit the Bodhi Tree, where he became a Buddhist. Then the Buddha visited Svastika, an old buffalo who visited and helped him after the five brothers Kondanna left. Svastika is now 20 years old, becoming a muscular young man. Remembering the promise of the past, the Buddha returned here to the uncle, to the monk, to get acquainted with Rahula, then the Buddha brought him to Venuvana.
Step into the Venuvana mansion, Svastika see what is also strange, also beautiful, also pretty. He was introduced by Rahula to the mendicants. Although he was three years older than Rahula, he found himself needing to learn a lot from Rahula, from walking up to the teachings, meditation, walking meditation, whatever was new.
One day he was listening to Assaji and Ananda telling the Buddha's practice in the past ten years. He heard passionately. Along with uncle Gotami and Rahula. Mr. Ananda has extraordinary memory. You reminded so many things that Mr. Assaji forgot to mention. Svastika is very impressed by Assaji and Ananda, and is very fond of nun Gotami and Rahula. Without these four, how can you hear the story of the Buddha? I hope from now on you will be close to the Buddha to learn directly with people from the doctrine to how to eat and how to treat others.
Although born a buffalo baby, Svastika also has a bit of knowledge and literacy. This is the work of Sujata [6] , the daughter of Commander Senani in the village of Uruvela. Sujata taught Svastika to read and write from the age of nine. For the past few years he has not studied with me anymore because he grew up and has to marry in Nadika village, south of Vesali.
Although Rahula was only seventeen years old, he was not ordained, but he was very knowledgeable about the forty-five majesty and virtue of a bhikkhu. Svastika is very happy to have Rahula at his side telling him and reminding him. Anything not yet understood, then he asked Sariputta, Assaji or Ananda. Rahula told Svastika:
Discipline of novice  (samanera) only ten is no killing, no stealing, no lust, no lie, no alcohol, no makeup or perfume, not lying or sitting on chairs No big dancing, no money, no eating after lunch. The law of  bhikkhu is also known as the  instrument of  pre - existence. [7] There are up to 120 precepts, of which 45 are majestic and almighty, but perhaps even more. Four speculators called essential world  (Parajika, Ba-la-di), mendicants how committed they are no longer a bhikkhu again, as when a palm tree being cut tops are not sprout again. Four realms are: not lewd, not robbed, not murdered,

When is the precept?

Rahula told Svastika that in the early years there were no precepts but that the mendicant congregation still had no regrets. The ordination ceremony is simple, just kneeling at the foot of the Buddha, or at the foot of a mendicant, read three sentences of refuge Buddhist Dharma is officially became a monk. Now want to get ordained, must volunteer to receive and practice the precepts. The number of ordained people has become so large that there are no self-conscious elements, so new precepts are set out to remind and preserve the monk's mind and body.
About five years ago, in Kalanda village near the city of Vesali, Mr. Sudina, a well off, married but did not have a child. One day, hearing the Buddha sermon at Mahavana, Sudina asked to leave the Buddha. Shortly afterwards, on the occasion of his passing through Kalanda, his family visited his son's home. After the meal, his parents advised him to take care of family property. I'm not happy. My parents complained that he was the only son who went to the monastery, there is no family in the family, and inheritance will fall into the hands of others. Finally his mother suggested that if he resolutely not graduated, at least he must also leave a child. Responding to his parents, he agreed.Later, his ex-wife became pregnant, giving birth to a son, named by his grandparents as Bijaka, meaning seed. Know this, Sudina's friends called him "father of the seed". There started to be denigration among the masses. Master Sudina was rebuked by the Buddha, and precepts began to be made out of it. Whenever there is a mendicant doing something contrary to the spirit of enlightened enlightenment and liberation, the congregation is called again, and a new law is recorded in the so-called Patimokkha (Pratimoksa, Bala. The-carpentry).

Buddha teaches buffaloes [8]

Today it is cool, after the meal, the mendicants quietly go to wash their bowl, then spread out in the surrounding surroundings sitting around the Buddha. Venuvana has many squirrels. They are around the teacher, not scared. Many squirrels climbed up bamboo stalks, looking down. Seeing Rahula sitting right in front of the Buddha, Svastika also crept to spread her arm around Rahula and sit down seriously. The atmosphere is solemn. No one told anyone, but Svastika knew that everyone was watching the breath while waiting for the Buddha to open his instructions.
The Buddha sat on a bamboo mat, several inches taller than everyone else. He sat down and majestically like a lion sitting in a lion's lion. He glanced swiftly at the audience, looking at Svastika and Rahula, and he said,
Today Tathagata he'll tell you on the subject of the herd, and what a good baby buffalo. Please listen. A good baby buffalo baby is a baby that identifies each of his buffalo easily. Know the shape of each child, know how to rub the buffalo, know how to care for the wound of buffaloes, know how to burn mosquitoes and mosquitoes, how to find a safe way for buffaloes, It is safe for buffalos to wade through the river, to know where there is fresh grass and clean water for buffaloes, how to maintain the buffaloes, and how to make big buffaloes for small buffalos.
Hey teachers, a good warden should do the same.
If a buffalo baby knows how to recognize his buffalo, then the monk must recognize the  32 components that make up his body [9] .
If a buffalo baby knows the form of a buffalo, then the devotee must also know which actions of the body, mouth and mind are worth doing or not.
If a baby buffalo knows how to wash the buffalo, the renunciator must also know how to let go of the mind and body of greed, delusion and hatred.
While the Buddha said these words, Svastika felt that he was the inspiration of the Buddha in his teachings today. I remember that more than ten years ago, he was sitting at the Buddha every hour, and the Buddha asked meticulous about the work of herding and cutting grass. As a royal prince who was born, how could the Buddha know such a thing about buffalo farming if he did not tell you all about it?The Buddha continued:
If the herd of buffaloes care for the wound to the buffaloes, the monk must also know to keep his six bases are eyes, ears, nose, tongue, body, Unclean
If a buffalo baby is aware of the mosquitoes for the buffalo, then the monk must know how to bring the teachings of liberation to those around them so that they can avoid physical and mental suffering.
If the herd of buffaloes knows how to find a safe path for a buffalo, the monk must know the other paths to the Noble Eightfold Path and the paths of fame, lust, school ... should avoid.
If the buffalo baby loves buffaloes, then the monk must also practice compassion and the Chinese[10] .
If the baby buffaloes know where to choose the safe place to wading buffaloes across the river, the monk must also use the Four Noble Truths to bring beings from the delusion to the shores.
If the baby buffaloes know where to find fresh grass for the buffaloes to eat and drink, then the monk should also know how to practice the four founders of Mindfulness to make liberation.
If the buffalo baby knows how to maintain buffalo stocking areas, the monk should also be careful about his or her custody of contact with the masses and the donation.
If the buffalo baby knows how to use large buffaloes as a model for small buffaloes, then the monk must also rely on the virtues and experience of the foregoing masters.
A teacher, a mendicant who practices according to the instructions given above, can attain Arahantship within six years of study.
The young almanac of Svastika was exotic. What he said to the Buddha over ten years ago, remember the Buddha, and also apply to the study of the marshal. Although the Buddha is teaching the general teachings for the masses, Svastika has the impression that the Buddha is teaching his own, so he hardly hear and remember every word of the Buddha. There are specialized nouns such as "Six Senses", "Six Senses", "Four Noble Truths", and Svastika not fully understood.
In the afternoon, Svastika asks Rahula about the nouns in Dhamma,
Hey, Rahula, what is sitting meditation? And how do you meditate while sitting in meditation?
Rahula points out to Svastika how to use coordinates [ nisadana ] and asana [12] , how to sit old and multiply. Then he continued:
On the use of mind while sitting in meditation, there are six main methods called  Lua Dien Phap Mon : 1- News, 2- Payment, 3-Only, 4-Quan, 5- Finished, 6-Net.
Book News  (Anapana-sati) is the control center use the breath as you like her, at first rough economic time later. Raven is inhaled with strong and long nose and then stopped. During apnea, count from one to 10, 20 or 30, and expel it with strong and long mouth. Do it 10 or 20 times. Technique is inhalation with a long, quiet nose, pause for a moment, then exhale with a mild and long mouth without sound, counting 1. Second counting, and so on 30 or 50 times. French news to purify the air in the body and make the seat balanced, firm; In addition, purify the worries in mind.
Adjustment is  also in the news but only use the mind to watch the free breath in and out gently with the nose according to the needs of the body, the mouth is closed, the tip of the tongue curved up the upper jaw for easy entry into the nose. . Know the breath at the time, when, in, stop. If the saliva in the mouth is swallowed in the stomach very well because it is very nutritious. France itself makes the mind and body are relaxed.
During practice, you can observe what motive has caused the breath. Where the engine is, how it looks.
Only (Samatha)  is the end of the brain and mind disturbance by concentrating one's thoughts on the body, such as the top of the head, the third, the tip of the nose, the heart, the navel, the palms of the hands. Exit breathing freely as practiced immediately. While practicing Only, if there are deluded thoughts or afflictions that can not be ruled out, then switch to the object of that illusion or perverted mind. For example, delusion is the thought of the house, that is, the object of delusion is the house, then we should eat the house is born to kill, impermanent, not self-nature, So we should not think of the house anymore.
Consciousness (Vipassana)  is consistent with all the law is impermanent, birth, pillar, allergic, entangled in it easy to suffer and suffering. Or learn about catechism as the Four Noble Truths [13]  .Or practice allows consistent Satipatthana [14] . Or practice Ngu Dinh Tam Quan [15] . Or practice the Nine Commentaries [16] . ..  The goal of the  shop  is to realizing the three doors of liberation: impermanence, selflessness and Nirvana. Impermanence  is that all things are born and gone, always changing. Anatta  is that all things are without true nature. Nirvana  is the purpose of the practice to eliminate negativity and delusion in order to reach peace, calm and liberation. After the Quan to turn to complete to see if his mind was removed from the idea or sorrow. For example, after returning home (Completed) home remarks whether the idea of home in mind. If not, continue to House; If the deduction is already terminated, then switch to Net.
Complete your  mind to see whether there are any delusions or defilements. If you still have to continue to shop for minus; If you see all delusions, negativity then move to Pure Land.
Pure  is Hui and Equanimity, not just Not Quan, keep calm and calm mind, not thinking, while still breathing according to custom. Thanks to no thought should not give birth defilements. At first unfamiliar, it should be maintained to keep the mind pure.
This Svastika, practice meditation (jhana, dhyana)  is a method of keeping the mind not to run or entangled six ceiling [17] . Zen consists of Just and Quan. Just (Samatha) to be Samadhi. Tu Quan (Vipassana) to be Hue (Panna, Prajna). There is also the Sila (Kamma, karma). Gender, concentration, wisdom is the three types of learning, three subjects must be diligent practice, the essence of the Dharma . Practitioners of Zen, depending on their level, will advance from meditation, second jhana, meditation to meditation. Higher is not boundless, boundless origin, non-possession of land and non-non-non-ideal non-origin. But  nirodha-samapatti (nirodha-samapatti) is  truly liberated, free ofdangers and ego.
Svastika suddenly exhaled, thinking of the path of her training is too long. Rahula understood, immediately said:
Brothers do not hurry. So, if you know how to do the right thing, it will work very well.Brother do not remember? At noon, the Buddha said that any monk who cultivates as a good baby buffalo, only six years can attain arahantship.
Svastika grasped Rahula's hand in her hands. He nodded, saying:
I will try, I will try. I am very fortunate to have a brother next door to remind and just tell me.

The Buddha taught saints Rahula morality [18]

Rahula told Svastika that the Buddha taught him very strictly, even though he knew the Buddha very well. When he was 11 years old, when he was in Ambalatthika Forest (Wen-ju), there were times he played a joke by taunting people to find the Buddha: As the Buddha was in Venuvana, he said Buddha in Griddhakuta, Being in Griddhakuta, he mentions the Buddha in Venuvana so that those people have to go back and forth. Or the Buddha from Venuvana monastery to Ambalatthika forester to find Rahula. Rahula above the seat for the Buddha sitting, then take the basin to draw water for the Buddha to wash his feet. Washed his feet, Buddha poured water but still retain some water in the brass. The Buddha looked at Rahula and asked:
Hey, Rahula, is there more or less water in the brass?
Lord, the water in the bat is very little.
Rahula, you should know the liar, the good is not left as much, as little as the water in this.
The Buddha pours out the water and asks:
Hey, Rahula, do you see me pouring out the water in the tub?
 Yes, I see.
For those who continue to lie, good will is lost as a brass without water.
The Buddha turned his face away and asked:
Rahula, do you see the brass bump?
 Buddha, I have seen.
If we do not practice right speech, our personality will be turned upside down like this one.Hey Rahula, I should be careful to keep my words, not to lie to play. Do you know what the mirror is for?
- Well  , the mirror used to look at his face.
Rahula, I must also observe your actions, thoughts, words as a mirror.
Every month, on the full moon day and the new moon day, all the mendicants must gather to brace (recite). The rules are read, and the public is asked whether there is a crime or not. If the masses keep silent then no one breaks. If someone breaks up, he stands up and speaks out (repentance) to repent. Except for errors parajika (ba-la-di, grave) that the person entered is automatically expelled, the other errors can be penitent.
Listening to Rahula, Svastika is aware of the importance of morality for a mendicant.

Attraction is also labor and production. [19]

Buddha entered the 11th at Ekanala Hill, in Dakkhinagiri village, south of Rajagriha. Here is the Kasi-Bharadvaja sutta:
At one time, the Buddha was at Ekanala Hill, in the village of Dakkhinagiri, a Brahmin village of Magadha. At that time, 500 of the plowmen working for Mr. Brahmin Kasi Bharadvaja were about to land. The Buddha carries the bowl to the place where the food is distributed and stands aside. Kasi Bharadvaja said:
Honor, I plow and sow, so that I may eat. He too, this author, he should also plow and sow seeds to eat.
Brahmins, Tathagas also plow and sow. Plucked and sowed, now Tathagata eat.
But do I see the plow, the yoke, the plowshaft of religion? I do not see the cow or the whip of Gotama. The author claims to be a farmer, but we do not see the plains of the religion. So let us know where we are.
Faith (saddha) is the seed, the discipline (tapo) is rain, the wisdom (panna, prajna) is the yoke and the plow, the humble (hiri) is the plow, mano is the reins, and Mindfulness (sati) is a plow and a whip.
The Tathagata is alive with six soulful abodes, actions and righteous sayings, eating in abundance. Tathagata has used the truth to cut the stems of weeds. Achieving the ultimate goal is to open the cows (liberation).
Effort (viriya) is a heavy carrier has brought Tathagata to the state of calm (Nirvana). No defilement, direct, straight forward, never again. Yes, the Tathagata's plow has done so. Its result is an immortal state of being. Having finished dragging this plow, there is no more sorrow.
Upon hearing this, the Brahmin Kasi-Bharadvaja filled a bowl of rice with rice milk and said:
May the goddess Gotama bowl rice milk mix this. The author was indeed a farmer because he had planted a "immortal" fruit tree.
- The  material received by the teaching is not appropriate for the Tathagata. Brahmin, that is the practice of the Great Enlightened One. The Transfiguration can not use that food. If you want to donate, please come another day.
The landlord was very impressed, fell to the Buddha and seek refuge

The Buddha taught Rahula to keep mindfulness while begging. [20]

After the 11th season, the Buddha went to the northwest. At the end of the fall of that year Buddha reached Sravasti. This is Svastika's first visit to Jetavana. You see the beautiful and very comfortable rooms for study. The scene was fresh and the climate was warm. Seeing Svastika, every teacher greeted cheerfully knowing that he was the cause of the Buddha saying the Chedi of the Buffalo at Venuvana.
One morning, while hugging the begging bowl behind the Buddha, Rahula lost his mindfulness (samma-sati). While still following everyone, my heart is thinking of something else. I wonder if the Buddha did not go to the ancient days do not know what Buddha is doing now and what he is doing. I have heard that when the Buddha was born, there were prophets who predicted that if the Buddha did not cultivate, he would become a cakkavatti, a great emperor with vast powers in many kingdoms. I do not know how the life of a holy cot death. And if the Buddha do the rotation of the Holy King, then what are you doing? Looking at the Buddha walking in front, he thought the body of Buddha, my father, so majestic beautiful, my body is also beautiful. As he was thinking, his footsteps, his breathing, and his gait were no longer in the majesty. Strange too, The Buddha went ahead and he felt that.Buddha knows he lost mindfulness. He stopped walking, turned back. All the mendicants also stopped walking. Buddha told Rahula:
Hey Rahula, do you watch the breath and maintain mindfulness?
Rahula at the end, silent. The Buddha taught:
Want to dwell in mindfulness, they must maintain a conscious breath. While begging, we must practice meditation. We can contemplate the impermanence of the elements that make up all beings, namely, form, feeling, perception, volition and consciousness. Regardless of how beautiful or ugly you are, you must look at this: " This is not  mine (N'etam mama),  this is not me  (N'eso ham 'Asmi),  this is not my soul  (Na me so atta) [21] ". If one maintains conscious breathing, then one can practice meditation with results and not lose mindfulness.
After saying this, the Buddha turned around and continued walking. Booked, everyone is paying attention to the breath to maintain mindfulness. But a moment later, Rahula detached from the ranks of the mendicants, to sit under a tree in a forest roadside. Seeing this, Svastika also left the ranks and followed Rahula. Seeing Svastika approaching, Rahula said:
Brother went on alms with the teachers. I do not have any heart to go begging again. I was just rebuked by the Buddha before losing consciousness. I have to spend all day practicing meditation. I'm very embarrassed.
Knowing nothing more, Svastika left Rahula, returned to join the mendicants. On the way back, Venerable Sariputta and Svastika stopped by the forest to pick up Rahula to the police station. Svastika shares his food in Rahula's bowl. After the meal, Sariputta asked Rahula to meet the Buddha. Svastika begs to be followed.

The Rahula teaches the virtues of the four [22]

Knowing Rahula's mind has matured, able to accept the teachings of liberation, the Buddha taught Rahula cultivate the virtues of the four elements:
Hey, Rahula,  study the  earth ." Although people pour and spray on the soil clean and beautiful things such as flowers, perfume and fragrant milk, or people dumped dirty stools like feces, urine or blood or pus spit On the ground, the earth also receives all of these things calmly, not happy glad nor disgusted humiliation. Likewise,  when sensual pleasures or sorrows arise, do not allow them to disturb your mind and subdue your child .
Hey Rahula,  learn the virtues of water . When people wash dirty things in water, water also does not feel so humiliated, sad and depressed. Likewise,  when sensual pleasures or sorrows arise, do not allow them to disturb your mind and subdue your child .
You should  learn the  behavior of fire . Fire burns everything, including dirty things, so fire does not feel so humiliating, sorrowful and bored. Likewise,  when sensual pleasures or sorrows arise, do not allow them to disturb your mind and subdue your child .
You should also  learn the  virtues of air . Air can tolerate and dissolve the odors without feeling humiliated, sorrowful and bored. Likewise,  when sensual pleasures or sorrows arise, do not allow them to disturb your mind and subdue your child .

Rahula, Buddha cultivate Compassionate discharge [23]

Then the Buddha continued:
Hey Rahula, you take  practice lap  From  confront anger. Kindness is the love of all beings, always thinking of how to bring joy to others, no conditions, no response.
Please  cultivate  compassion  to counter kill. Compassion is the love of all sentient beings, always thinking of how to deal with suffering in others, not conditionality, no response.
You should also  cultivate  Hy heart  to counter jealousy, jealousy. Happiness is the love of all beings, happy with the joy of others, happy to see others succeed, happy.
And you should also  cultivate  equanimity  to counter immorality, selfishness, discrimination.Diligence is the mind is not persistent / harassment, right / wrong, enamored, or / unloaded, good / bad ... Submission is the mind does not distinguish ego, ego, beings. Equality is the center of equality among all living beings. Indulge is the mind of openness and openness that brings us peace, calm and liberation.
Rahula, word, compassion, joy, equanimity are four great minds without boundaries, and also beautiful. That is called the  Four Immeasurable Minds . Practicing with this spell, I become a cool spring that brings energy and joy to all living creatures.

The Buddha taught Rahula impermanence. [24]

The Buddha paused for a moment, then said,
Hey Rahula, if you want to enter the realm of being immortal, then I have to set  shop impermanence  to eliminate legal compliance and ego. You should elaborate on each of the elements that make up our body [25] , each of which constitutes our mind [26] , each of which makes up any object to realize that there is not any Any element, no matter how small, no object, no matter how big, can escape from the stages, pillars, no, no. All are constantly changing according to the conditions in each time. All are impermanent.
Once you have realized so deeply the impermanence of all things, all things in the world, your mind will no longer desire the fame of worldly possessions, no longer engulfed in worldly pleasures. It was then that I began to step on the path of liberation.

The Buddha taught Rahula to contemplate breathing. [27]

Stopped a moment, Lord Buddha continued:
Hey Rahula, every day you must also diligently  practicing a  breathing meditation  for mindfulness, peace to body and mind . Whenever we breathe we know that we are breathing in, every time we breathe we know we are breathing out. While paying attention to the breath like that, I get rid of the thoughts, thoughts of distress and distress. The mindfulness of mind is settled in mindfulness. I know I am breathing, I know I'm awake, I know we are not thoughts [28]  appeal, we know we are to dwell in mindfulness. That state of mindfulness is the Buddha-nature available in all of us.
Rahula, mindfulness of breathing helps us to keep mindfulness. Living in mindfulness is living in awareness, is living in enlightenment.  The longer mindfulness, the greater the enlightenment in which we become clear and grow .
Sitting next to Rahula, Svastika attentively listens to all the Buddha's teachings. I feel joyful joy. This is the second time that he listened to the Buddha's teachings in profound, simple words, easy to understand, easy to practice. He began to believe that he was capable of learning, understanding and practicing the results of the Buddha's teachings of enlightenment and deliverance. After the Buddha finished speaking, Rahula and Svastika bowed out. Svastika invited Rahula to sit under a large tree to review the Buddha's teachings and to discuss details in order to practice. Svastika finds that he understands Rahula as well.

7- Decade in Veranja, Kosala (-578)

Famine at Veranja [29]

The 12th Anniversary of the Buddha's Sermon, in the garden of Nalerba, near the village of Veranja in Kosala, at the Buddha's lecture in the large Nimba Garden, was attended by a wealthy Brahmin benefactor Agnidatta Hear and ask why the Buddha never bowed to an older brahmin? The Buddha replies:
If the Tathagata flag is not fully qualified, he must be sketched to pieces. So Tathagata has never bowed to a Brahmin even though he was older.
After listening to the Buddha answering some other questions about the teachings of enlightenment and practice, Agnidatta was happy, sought refuge, and invited the Buddhas and nuns to enter the village of Veranja, in the area. His garden. But Agnidatta is often busy with sales, rarely at home. Meanwhile famine occurred in Veranja, right in the season.
The mendicants lamented each other as food is getting increasingly rare. There are many masters go begging for empty bowls. The teachers must sit together to share the beggars. People say that this year's crop is out of harvest, the stockpile of the local government is running low, the government must issue food aid cards to the people. People do not have enough food to do anything to offer. The number of 500 Mendicant mercenaries is too large for the population of the village.
Moggallana suggested relocating to the village of Uttarakuru in the south to continue to settle, since there was no hunger there. Give newspaper:
Do not do that, Moggallana. Is it hunger alone? All the villagers are hungry, except the rich. If we go away from hunger and do not share difficulties, how can we understand the suffering of the people here? Hey Moggallana, we should stay here for the rest of the season.
One day, after the begging, Ananda Venerable to find a land scrape, then dug up on the kitchen made of three stones. Great picks picked up the dry branches and flickered fire. Strange, Svastika came close to say:
 I let you fire.
Svastika's kitchen was really good, just in a moment the fire burned up. Ananda respectfully took the bowl. There is something like a saw in the bowl. I poured all into the land omelet. He told Svastika:
- This is bran. We pay for this fragrant aroma and bring it to Buddha.
While Svastika was holding two small sticks to mix the bran that was roasting on the stove, Ananda told him about a horse merchant from the north, bringing with him 500 horses, now in Veranja. This morning, he met Ananda, who was stopping in front of his house for alms. Through the story of great questions about the teachings, the method of training and the status of the congregation here, the merchant told the great virtue that can not get food, the masters can visit his home to Get each one of the bran food to help hunger. This bran is reserved for horses to eat, but the quality is quite good, can roast for very nutritious eaters. Hearing this, Venerable Ananda immediately requested to add a bit of bran to the Buddha. I promise to announce this good news to the mendicants.
Bran has aromatic. Brother Ananda poured the bran back into the bowl. I asked Svastika to go with him to the Buddha's am. He divided the half of the bran in the bowl. Buddha asked Svastika what to eat? Svastika white is the morning I received two potatoes. Then the three of them sat down, meditated and quiet in silence. Svastika sees the Buddha eating his food calmly and delectably. Master resonate in front of a king, a teacher living a life of silver.
After that evening's talk, the great Venerable Ananda informed the people of the sacrificial offerings of the horse. He added that only if no food was received to get bran because the amount of rice offerings were extracted from the servings of 500 horses.

When should the precepts be promulgated? [30]

One day, after meditation, Venerable Sariputta came to Buddha and bowed lightly:
Praise the Buddha, the teachings of any Buddhist long-term and do not exist any dharma?
Sariputta, the teachings of Vipassin Buddhas, Sikhs and Vessabhu do not last long; also the teachings of Buddhas Kakucchandha (Question-Save-Ton), Konagamana (Question-Na-content) and Kassapa (Ca-Lettuce) long-term survival [31] . Dhamma exists permanently or not depends on the discipline of the disciples, so also according to the basic rules (Patimokkha, rules) are issued.
Buddha, if so we would like to ask Bhagavan joy institutions and fully enact rules to make exemplary monastic thousand generations.
Not yet, Sariputta. The precepts can not be made by one person in one day. Please be patient. As long as there are blunders of error that arise in the increase of them, then it is appropriate to issue disciplinary measures and the institution of precepts. When we see the precepts are complete, we will issue the Upasampada.
The Veranja season is the beginning of the introduction of four major [32]  balacavas (Parajika) in the Vinaya Pitaka.
Date of suicide [33]  Chronic Lower arrived. Host Agnidatta from far away. Heard that many of the mendicants were hungry during the holiday season, he was very regretful. He held a solemn feast at home, offering three sets of cassocks and one mendicant to each one. After the sermon, the Buddha and his followers departed, leaving for Sravasti. Then the Buddha continued to propagate in Soreyya, Samkassa, Kannakujja, Payaga. He came to  Benares  for a while, then returned to  Vesali , staying at the Mahavana Dhamma. One month later the Buddha left for Koliya.  END=NAM MO SHAKYAMOUNI BUDDHIST BUDDHA.( 3 TIMES ).VIETNAMESE TRANSLATE ENGLISH BY=THICH CHAN TANH.THE MIND OF ENLIGHTENMENT.VIETNAMESE BUDDHIST NUN=GOLDEN LOTUS MONASTERY=AUSTRALIA,SYDNEY.29/6/2017.
