Japanese economic sage (Bhaddekaratta Sutta).
Thus have I heard.

The past is not traced
not desire future.
The past has to make an end,
the future has not yet arrived,

Wisdom here.
No action, no shaking
Knowing this, should practice,
Today zeal made,
Who knows die tomorrow?
No one thing is family,
army With Death,
Resident so zealous,
untiring night date,
Worthy called supreme Hien,
Tier calm, quiet.
And this, monks, how is tracing the past? He thought: "That's my identity in the past", and tracing the joy of it; "So my life in the past", and tracing the joy of it; "So my idea in the past", and tracing the joy of it; "So my practice in the past", and tracing the joy of it, "So, is my understanding of the past", and tracing the joy of it. So, this, monks, is tracing the past.
And this, monks, is not tracking how the past? He thought: "That's my identity in the past", and no trace of joy in it; "So my life in the past", and no trace of joy in it; "That's my idea ... So my issue ... So my understanding of the past"; and no trace of her joy. So, this, monks, is not trace the past.
And this, monks, how future aspirations? He thought: "I hope that this will be the future of my identity," and traced the joy of it; "We hope that this will be my future life", and tracing the joy of it; "Hopefully this is my idea ... is my issue ... is my understanding in the future", and tracing the joy of it. So, this, monks, is the desire in the future.
And this, monks, is how future aspirations? He thought: "I hope that this will be the future of my identity," and no trace of joy in it; "We hope that this will be my future life", and no trace of her joy; "We hope that this will be a great ... will be operating ... will be the future of my knowledge", and no trace of her joy. So, this, monks, is no desire in the future.
And this, monks, how it is drawn in the current law? Here, the monks, ordinary uncultured someone does not go to the sages, not legal maturity of the saint, not the sages legal practice; Legs do not go to the human level, not legal maturity Chan's levels, not the legal practice of Chan's level; excellence is consistent self, or ego is excellent shop, or restaurant is excellent in the self, or ego is in excellent restaurant; or he assume feeling to be the self, or ego is consistent with life, or the life bar is in the self, or ego shop is in life; or is he contemplating self, or ego is a great restaurant, or he is contemplating in the self, or ego is in a great restaurant; or he acts is consistent self, or ego he is committing shop, or shop operator he is in the self, or ego he is consistent in practice; he assumes consciousness or self, or ego is consistent with formula, or formula bar is in the self, or ego is in the form of bars. So, this, monks, is drawn in the current law.
And this, monks, how is not drawn in the current law? Here, the monks, have for campaigning St. disciples went to the sages, the sages legal maturity, the legal practice of the sages, go to Chan's levels, legal maturity levels Chan's , legal practice Chan's levels. This position does not assume form to be the self, the ego is not consistent excellence, excellence is not customary in the self, not the self in excellent restaurant; do not shop ... not contemplate life ... do not ... do not assume consciousness customary practice is the self, the ego is not consistent with formula, not shop in the form of the self, not the self in the informal bar. So, this, monks, is not drawn in the current law.
