6. Beijing four areas contemplation
T O heard something like this: A childhood and that, Buddha is residing in Kammasadamma, a local neighborhood Kuru. One day, he called the monks: "Behold the masters". The monks replied: "Dear Blessed". Buddha said: "Behold the position, this is the only way to purify the body and mind, overcoming sorrow, suffering eradicate priority, and certification path reaches nirvana - that is the way of the four areas of bars expression ".
Four areas are contemplating what areas?
Behold the position, the meditator dwell in the contemplation of the body in the body, ardent, clearly conscious and lucid about the body, away from any attachment and concern for life.
He abides in the contemplation of feelings where feelings, ardent, clearly conscious and lucid about feelings, far from any attachment and concern for life.
He abides in the contemplation of the mind in the mind, ardent, clearly conscious and lucid about the mind, far from any attachment and concern for life.
He abides in the contemplation of the object of consciousness where the object of the mind, ardent, clearly conscious and lucid on the subject of consciousness, far from any attachment and concern for life .
Behold the position, the meditator dwell in the contemplation of the body where the body like?
Person to get to a forest, a tree, or a desert place, and sat down in the lotus position, keep the body upright and establish mindfulness on the object of meditation. With a clear sense and wise, he inhaled.With a clear sense and wise, he exhaled.
Breathing in a long breath, he realized that: "I am breathing in a long breath." Exhaled a long breath, he realized that: "I am breathing out a long breath."
Breathing in a short breath, he realized that: "I am breathing in a short breath." Breathing out a short breath, he realized that: "I am breathing out a short breath."
Practitioner who himself practiced as follows:
With a clear sense of the whole breath, we breathe in. With a clear sense of the whole breath, we breathe out.
With a clear sense of calm where the breath, we breathe in. With a clear sense of calm where the breath, we breathe out.
As skilled turners or apprentice mechanic, as long turn around, he realized that: "we are a long turn around." Or turn around short, he is aware that: "It is a short turn around."
As well as the practitioner breathes in a long breath, he realized that: "I am breathing in a long breath."Exhaled a long breath, he realized that: "I am breathing out a long breath."
Breathing in a short breath, he realized that: "I am breathing in a short breath." Breathing out a short breath, he realized that: "I am breathing out a short breath."
Practitioner who himself practiced as follows:
With a clear sense of the whole breath, we breathe in. With a clear sense of the whole breath, we breathe out.
With a clear sense of calm where the breath, we breathe in. With a clear sense of calm where the breath, we breathe out.
And so, the meditator dwell in the contemplation of the body in the body, or inside, or outside, or inside and outside the body. He abides in the contemplation of the uprising, or the destruction, or the origination and destruction process in the body. Or contemplate him that "this body there", like enough to trigger reflection and awareness of the body. He is not dependent on anything where greedy, nor cling to anything in life. Who practices contemplation of the body in the body, so, Excellencies.
When traveling, the practitioner a sense that "we're going". As it stands, the practitioner a sense that "we're standing." When sitting, the practitioner a sense that "we're sitting." When located, the practitioner a sense that "we're lying." Any body is in position, the practitioner who is aware of that position.
And so, the meditator dwell in the contemplation of the body in the body, or inside, or outside, or inside and outside the body. He abides in the contemplation of the uprising, or the destruction, or the origination and destruction process in the body. Or contemplate him that "this body there", like enough to trigger reflection and awareness of the body. He is not dependent on anything where greedy, nor cling to anything in life. Who practices contemplation of the body in the body, so, Excellencies.
When going to and fro, the practitioner a sense of clarity about it. When seen before or looked after, bent down or standing up, the practitioner a sense of clarity about it. When draped in or carrying bowl, the practitioner a sense of clarity about it. When you eat or drink, chew or taste, the practitioner a sense of clarity about it. When defecation or urination, the practitioner a sense of clarity about it. When traveling or standing, or sitting, sleeping or awake, talking or silence, the practitioner also clearly conscious about it.
And so, the meditator dwell in the contemplation of the body in the body, or inside, or outside, or inside and outside the body. He abides in the contemplation of the uprising, or the destruction, or the origination and destruction process in the body. Or contemplate him that "this body there", like enough to trigger reflection and awareness of the body. He is not dependent on anything where greedy, nor cling to anything in life. Who practices contemplation of the body in the body, so, Excellencies.
Who practices contemplation of this main body, from the heel upward and from the top on down, surrounded by a layer of skin and filled with all kinds of impurities. Body belongs to this: "Hair, hair, nails, teeth, skin, flesh, tendons, bones, bone marrow, kidney, liver, diaphragm, spleen, lungs, intestines, stomach, feces, bile, phlegm, pus , blood, sweat, fat, tears, saliva, pus, water joints, urine. "

Again, this all away. In any other position of the body, the practitioner also contemplation about the constituents of the body. In this body, with the earth element, the water element, the element of fire, the wind factor. As the butcher or workers skilled in apprenticeship, you kill a cow, sitting between the intersection and split into several parts cows. Practitioner, too, in any other position of the body, and contemplation of the constituents of the body. In this body, with the earth element, the water element, the element of fire, the wind factor.
And so, the meditator dwell in the contemplation of the body in the body, or inside, or outside, or inside and outside the body. He abides in the contemplation of the uprising, or the destruction, or the origination and destruction process in the body. Or contemplate him that "this body there", like enough to trigger reflection and awareness of the body. He is not dependent on anything where greedy, nor cling to anything in life. Who practices contemplation of the body in the body, so, Excellencies.
Again, this all away. Like seeing a dead body was left where the graveyard, was one day, two days, or three days of growth, bruising and rotting. Who practices contemplation of this body, too, will become like that, no way of escape.
And so, the meditator dwell in the contemplation of the body in the body, or inside, or outside, or inside and outside the body. He abides in the contemplation of the uprising, or the destruction, or the origination and destruction process in the body. Or contemplate him that "this body there", like enough to trigger reflection and awareness of the body. He is not dependent on anything where greedy, nor cling to anything in life. Who practices contemplation of the body in the body, so, Excellencies.
Then, as seen a dead body was left where the graveyard, was raven preened, are hawks, vultures and coyotes gnawing tearing forests, being their worm. Who practices contemplation of this body, too, will become like that, no way of escape.
And so, the meditator dwell in the contemplation of the body in the body, or inside, or outside, or inside and outside the body. He abides in the contemplation of the uprising, or the destruction, or the origination and destruction process in the body. Or contemplate him that "this body there", like enough to trigger reflection and awareness of the body. He is not dependent on anything where greedy, nor cling to anything in life. Who practices contemplation of the body in the body, so, Excellencies.
Then, as seen a dead body was left where the graveyard, leaving only a skeleton stick less flesh and blood, joints are tied together by tendons.
Then, as seen a dead body was left where the graveyard, leaving only the skeletons had no meat but still sticky bit of blood, joints are tied together by tendons.
Then, as seen a dead body was left where the graveyard, leaving only the skeletons had no meat and no longer little blood, joints are tied together by tendons.
Then, as seen a dead body was left where the graveyard, leaving only a pile of disjointed bones, hand bones that place, leg bones, and there is the femur, sacrum, spine, skull.
Then, as seen a dead body was left where the graveyard, leaving only a pile of white bones shells.
Then, as seen a dead body was left where the graveyard, leaving only a pile of dry bones was more than a year.
Then, as seen a dead body was left where the graveyard, leaving only a pile of bones in pieces to ashes.
Who practices contemplation of this body, too, will become like that, no way of escape.
And so, the meditator dwell in the contemplation of the body in the body, or inside, or outside, or inside and outside the body. He abides in the contemplation of the uprising, or the destruction, or the origination and destruction process in the body. Or contemplate him that "this body there", like enough to trigger reflection and awareness of the body. He is not dependent on anything where greedy, nor cling to anything in life. Who practices contemplation of the body in the body, so, Excellencies.
Behold the position, the meditator dwell in the contemplation of sensations in sensations like?
When there is a feeling of pleasure, the yogi consciously: "It is with a feeling of pleasure." When there is a feeling of pain, conscious practitioner: "It is with a sense of suffering." When there is a feeling of pleasure nor pain, conscious practitioner: "I have a feeling no pleasure nor pain '.
When there is a sense of physical pleasure, the yogi consciously: "It is with a sense of physical pleasure." When there is a feeling of spiritual pleasure, the yogi consciously: "It is with a sense of spiritual pleasures".
When there is a sense of physical suffering, the yogi consciously: "It is with a sense of physical suffering." When there is a feeling of mental suffering, the yogi consciously: "It is with a sense of spiritual suffering."
When there is a feeling of pleasure nor physical suffering, the yogi consciously: "I have a feeling no pleasure nor physical suffering". When there is a feeling no pain nor pleasure, mental suffering, the yogi consciously: "I have a feeling no pleasure nor mental suffering".
And so, the meditator dwell in the contemplation of sensations in sensations, or inside, or outside, or inside and outside sensations. He abides in the contemplation of the uprising, or the destruction, or the process of arising and process of destruction where sensations. Or he contemplation that "no sensation here", like enough to trigger reflection and a sense of feeling. He is not dependent on anything where greedy, nor cling to anything in life. Who practices contemplation of feelings where the sensation is so, Excellencies.
Behold the position, the meditator dwell in the contemplation of the mind in the mind like?
When the mind with lust, the practitioner is aware his mind with lust. When the mind has no greed, the practitioner is aware his mind without craving.
When the mind with anger, the practitioner is aware of his mind with anger. When the mind has no hatred, the practitioner is aware his mind without anger.
When the mind with delusion, the practitioner is aware of his mind with delusion. When the mind is without delusion, the practitioner is aware his mind without delusion.
When the mind has collected photographic, the practitioner is aware they have collected photographic mind. When there is a scattered mind, the yogi's consciousness with his mind wandering.
When the mind becomes large, the practitioner is aware of his consciousness becomes large. When the mind becomes narrow, the practitioner is aware of his consciousness becomes limited.
When consciousness reaches the highest state, the meditator is aware his mind reaches the highest state. When the mind does not reach the highest state, the meditator is aware his mind does not reach the highest state.
When the mind has set, the yogi's consciousness with the consciousness alone. When the mind is not there, the practitioner is aware he does not have to mind.
When the mind has freed, the practitioner is aware has freed his mind. When the mind is no liberation, the practitioner is aware his mind no liberation.
And so, the meditator dwell in the contemplation of the mind in the mind, or inside, or outside, or inside and outside the mind. He abides in the contemplation of the uprising, or the destruction, or the process arise and mental destruction. Or he contemplation that "there is consciousness", like enough to trigger reflection and a sense of consciousness. He is not dependent on anything where greedy, nor cling to anything in life. Who practices contemplation of consciousness where the mind is so, Excellencies.
Behold the position, the meditator dwell in the contemplation of the object of consciousness where the object of the mind like?
First of all, who practices contemplation of the phenomenon obscured year as objects of consciousness where the object of consciousness. Mindfulness in any way?
When a craving concept, the practitioner a sense that I had a craving anniversary. When no one thought craving, his conscious practitioners who do not have a concept of craving.
When a thought arises not craving, this began to arise, the practitioner was aware of was being run. As a concept, craving arises, being completely eliminated, the practitioner aware of his completely eliminated. When a craving concept has been completely eliminated and no longer arises again, the practitioners are well aware of that.
When there is a concept of hatred, his conscious practitioner who has an anger concept. When no one thought of anger, the sense of its practitioners do not have a concept of hatred.
When a thought of anger has not arisen, now begins to arise, the practitioner was aware of was being run. When a thought of anger has arisen, being completely eliminated, the practitioner aware of his completely eliminated. When a thought of anger has been completely eliminated and no longer arises again, the practitioners are well aware of that.
When there is confusion and sleepiness, the practitioner can sense his confusion and sleepiness. When there is no confusion and sleepiness, the practitioner a sense I have no confusion and sleepiness.
When confusion and sleepiness have not arisen, now begins to arise, the practitioner aware of his being run. When confusion and sleepiness have arisen, being completely eliminated, the practitioner aware of his completely eliminated. When confusion and sleepiness have been completely eliminated and no longer arises again, the practitioners are well aware of that.
When there is agitation and remorse, the practitioners themselves are aware of the agitation and remorse. When there is agitation and remorse, his conscious practitioner no agitation and remorse.
When the agitation and remorse have not arisen, now begins to arise, the practitioner was aware of was being run. When the agitation and remorse have arisen, being completely eliminated, the practitioner aware of his completely eliminated. When the agitation and remorse have been completely eliminated and no longer arises again, the practitioners are well aware of that.
When there is doubt, the practitioner a sense of suspicion himself. With no doubt, the practitioner a sense I have no doubt.
When the suspect has not arisen, now begins to arise, the practitioner aware of his being run. When suspicion has arisen, being completely eliminated, the practitioner aware of it completely eliminated.When the suspect has been completely eliminated and no longer arises again, the practitioners are well aware of that.
And so, the meditator dwell in the contemplation of the object of consciousness where the object of the mind, or inside, or outside, or inside and outside the object of consciousness. He abides in the contemplation of the uprising, or the destruction, or the process of arising and process of destruction of the object of consciousness. Or he contemplation that "no object of mind here," like enough to trigger reflection and awareness on the subject of consciousness. He is not dependent on anything where greedy, nor cling to anything in life. Who practices contemplation of the phenomenon obscured year as objects of consciousness where the object of consciousness is so, Excellencies.
Next, who practices contemplation on the five aggregates cling to objects as objects of consciousness where the mind. Mindfulness in any way?
Who practices contemplation as follows:
"This is the color, this is the arising of every form, this is the destruction of every form".
"This is the feeling, this is the arising of feeling, this is the destruction of sensations".
"This is the perception, this is the arising of perception, this is the destruction of perception".
"This is the operation of the heart, this is the generation of the operation from the heart, this is the destruction of the operation of the mind".
"Distinction here is aware, this is the arising of consciousness to distinguish, this is the destruction of the sense of discrimination".
And so, the meditator dwell in the contemplation of the object of consciousness where the object of the mind, or inside, or outside, or inside and outside the object of consciousness. He abides in the contemplation of the uprising, or the destruction, or the process of arising and process of destruction of the object of consciousness. Or he contemplation that "no object of mind here," like enough to trigger reflection and awareness on the subject of consciousness. He is not dependent on anything where greedy, nor cling to anything in life. Meditator who cling to ideas of the five aggregates as objects of consciousness where the object of consciousness is so, Excellencies.
Next, who practices contemplation on the six senses and six objects of the senses as objects of consciousness where the object of consciousness. Mindfulness in any way?
Practitioner awareness of the eyes, conscious of the object of the eye is visible forms, conscious of the constraints created by the eye and form. He conscious of the constraints have not arisen, currently arises, the constraints have arisen, now being completely eliminated, the ties have been completely eliminated and no longer arises again.
Practitioner awareness of the ear, the sense of the object of the ear is sound, conscious of the constraints created by the ear and sound. He conscious of the constraints have not arisen, currently arises, the constraints have arisen, now being completely eliminated, the ties have been completely eliminated and no longer arises again.
Practitioner awareness of the nose, aware of the object of the nose are aromas, conscious of the constraints created by the nose and aromas. He conscious of the constraints have not arisen, currently arises, the constraints have arisen, now being completely eliminated, the ties have been completely eliminated and no longer arises again.
Practitioner awareness of the tongue, the sense on the subject of the tongue is the taste, the sense of the constraints created by the tongue and tastes. He conscious of the constraints have not arisen, currently arises, the constraints have arisen, now being completely eliminated, the ties have been completely eliminated and no longer arises again.
Practitioner awareness of self, awareness of the body is the object of touch, sense of the constraints created by the body and touching. He conscious of the constraints have not arisen, currently arises, the constraints have arisen, now being completely eliminated, the ties have been completely eliminated and no longer arises again.
Practitioner awareness of mind, consciousness of the object of the mind is thought, conscious of the constraints created by the mind and thoughts. He conscious of the constraints have not arisen, currently arises, the constraints have arisen, now being completely eliminated, the ties have been completely eliminated and no longer arises again.
And so, the meditator dwell in the contemplation of the object of consciousness where the object of the mind, or inside, or outside, or inside and outside the object of consciousness. He abides in the contemplation of the uprising, or the destruction, or the process of arising and process of destruction of the object of consciousness. Or he contemplation that "no object of mind here," like enough to trigger reflection and awareness on the subject of consciousness. He is not dependent on anything where greedy, nor cling to anything in life. Who practices contemplation on the six faculties and six objects of the senses as objects of consciousness where the object of consciousness is so, Excellencies.
Next, who practices contemplation of the seven factors of enlightenment as the object of consciousness where the object of consciousness. Mindfulness in any way?
When elements of mindfulness, the yogi consciously mindful that I was there. He contemplation that "his heart is with mindfulness". When no mindfulness, the yogi consciously mindful that she is not. He is not aware of mindfulness arises, this is arises, mindfulness has arisen, this is accomplished.
When scouts legal elements, the practitioners themselves are aware that all property of the legal determination. He contemplation that "his heart was with the scouts about the legal decisions." When there is no decision on the legal scouts, the practitioner a sense that she is not responsible for the legal determination. He consciously scouts about the legal determination not arise, currently arises, the scouts about the legal determination has arisen, this is accomplished.
When a diligent factors, the practitioners themselves are aware that the diligent. He contemplation that "his heart is with diligence". With no effort, the practitioner a sense that she is not the effort. He awareness about the effort has not arisen, currently arises, about the effort has arisen, this is accomplished.
When the happy factor, the practitioners themselves are aware that joy. He contemplation that "his heart is with gladness." When there is no joy, the sense of his yogi no joy. He sense of joy has not arisen, currently arises, about the joy has arisen, this is accomplished.
When elements equanimity, the yogi is aware that he has the calm. He contemplation that "the mind is calm". When there is calm, the sense of his yogi without contempt. Him a sense of calm which has not arisen, currently arises, on the calm which has arisen, this is accomplished.
When there are factors, the practitioner a sense that I was there for. He contemplation that "the mind is there." When there are no regulations, the practitioner a sense that she is not specified. He conscious of the attention has not arisen, currently arises, the concentration arisen, this is accomplished.
When an element of letting go, the practitioner a sense that I had to let go. He contemplation that: "I have let go of the mind". When there is no letting go, people sense that their practitioners can not let go. He conscious of not letting go arises, currently arises, the detachment has arisen, this is accomplished.
And so, the meditator dwell in the contemplation of the object of consciousness where the object of the mind, or inside, or outside, or inside and outside the object of consciousness. He abides in the contemplation of the uprising, or the destruction, or the process of arising and process of destruction of the object of consciousness. Or he contemplation that "no object of mind here," like enough to trigger reflection and awareness on the subject of consciousness. He is not dependent on anything where greedy, nor cling to anything in life. Who practices contemplation of the seven factors of enlightenment as the object of consciousness where the object of consciousness is so, Excellencies.
Next, who practices contemplation of the four noble truths as objects of consciousness where the object of consciousness. Mindfulness in any way?
When events are suffering, who practices contemplation: "it is painful." When events are causes of suffering, who practices contemplation: "this is the causes of suffering." When the event is the cessation of suffering, who practices contemplation: "this is the end of suffering." When the events which led to the cessation of suffering, who practices contemplation: "this is the way leading to the cessation of suffering."
And so, the meditator dwell in the contemplation of the object of consciousness where the object of the mind, or inside, or outside, or inside and outside the object of consciousness. He abides in the contemplation of the uprising, or the destruction, or the process of arising and process of destruction of the object of consciousness. Or he contemplation that "no object of mind here," like enough to trigger reflection and awareness on the subject of consciousness. He is not dependent on anything where greedy, nor cling to anything in life. Who practices contemplation of the four noble truths as objects of consciousness where the object of consciousness is so, Excellencies.
Behold the position, the practitioner who practice mindfulness on the four areas in seven years, he or she can achieve fruition right here and right knowledge in this life. Or if leftover newspapers will also attained no longer return.
Behold the position, let alone seven years. Those who practice mindfulness on the four areas in six years, five years, four years, three years, two years, or a year, that person can also have the ability to achieve the results you right here and right knowledge in this life. Or if leftover newspapers will also attained no longer return.
Behold the position, let alone a year. Those who practice mindfulness on the four areas in seven months, six months, five months, four months, three months, two months, one month, or two months, he may also have the ability to reach fruition chief and located right here in this life. Or if leftover newspapers will also attained no longer return.
Behold the position, let alone half a month. Those who practice mindfulness on the four areas in a week, he or she may also have the ability to achieve the results you right here and right knowledge throughout their lives. Or if leftover newspapers will also attained no longer return.
That is why I have said: "this is the only way to purify the body and mind, overcoming sorrow, suffering elimination priority, and certification path reaches nirvana - that is the way of four areas of contemplation ".
